The TARDIS rooms headcannons: DOCTOR EDITION

in the best way possible, of course

there are at least 10 different unfinished tinkering projects scattered around the room at all times

whenever the doctor swears he's going to finish one, he gets an idea for another (me with fic writing fr)

he has a desk in the corner, which is mostly covered in notepaper with a mix of English and circular Gallifreyan scrawled across them

and we're pretty sure that's a bed under all that paper

but at this point who knows? Does the doctor even sleep? (he does, just not in his bedroom...or, you know, a bed)

the door to the room changed depending on the preferences of the doctor occupying it

10's door had about 20 different 'gadgets' glued onto it, while 12's was made of deep mahogany panels and what was probably once a bright brass doorknob (it hasn't been polished in 604 years)

although the various companions can enter the doctor's room at any time, the TARDIS tends to steer them away from it whenever he needs to be alone

but when she thinks that the doctor could stand to gain from actually talking about his feelings for once, companions may find themselves turning a corner and suddenly becoming face-to-face with his door

practically the only clean surface in his room is a set of shelves lined with trinkets and souvenirs that remind his of each of his companions

a preserved rose for Rose Tyler, a bead from one of Clara Oswald's dresses, a framed paper snowflake for Ruby Sunday, and a blank page that some of the companions suspect is from River Song's diary (it is)

pinned onto the wall next to the shelves are a collection of polaroids, one of every person that's ever travelled in the TARDIS

Donna's one has both her and the doctor laughing together (or possibly at each other), and Yaz's one is blushing furiously next to an equally red 13, and Wilfred's one is just him beaming at the camera

the doctor likes to pretend he's not sentimental, but we all know the truth <3

Bentley headcannons: PART 2 BABYYYY

Crowley brought her from new in 1934

this also happened to be the year where driving tests were made mandatory in England

Crowley was so mad that in protest he brought the Bentley and proceeded to drive her at increasingly high speeds around central London

he still hasn't gotten a proper drivers licence to this day (don't tell Aziraphale that though)

Although Crowley has only put petrol in her once, after hearing the saying 'you wouldn't put a soft drink into a car and expect it to run' (this was meant to encourage people to drink more water, though, really, cars can't run on water either...)

Crowley decided to pour 2 whole litres of diet coke into the Bentley and see what happened (he survived for over 5 miles on sheer power of will)

There's always a book in the glove compartment just in case Aziraphale gets bored

currently, it's The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde, but before that it used to be Pride and Prejudice (Crowley read the first couple of chapters of that one and pretended to annoyed by it, but a few days later Aziraphale saw him sneaking back into the car to keep reading it)

He fell asleep in the Bentley once, and when he woke up he realized she had shifted his seat back so he wouldn't get a cramped neck from sitting upright all night <3

I know Elves are canonically just effortlessly beautiful creatures but I think it's funny to imagine Legolas having an extensive skin care and beauty routine that he does every morning to maintain his etheral features and he gets so fussy about it too and Aragorn is just like

headcannon time:

the whole time Aziraphale was pretending to be the gardener for Warlock's family Crowley was just...fixing the plants for him

like I love Aziraphale dearly but that angel cannot garden

everything is either over-watered or as dry as a literal desert

Crowley is fighting for both their jobs over here

he's just running around on his breaks trying desperately to keep the plants alive without Aziraphale or the Dowling's noticing

because he would never let his angel realise he's killing the plants

he did WHAT

Thank you so much for the ask!!! I haven't seen any of number 12 yet so here are some of my headcannons for the 14th doctor:

loves raw marshmallows but refuses to toast them on the grounds that "there are some things in this world that should never be toasted"

once shoved 23 marshmallows in his mouth at the same time

don't ask us how he did it

Donna gave him a hot pink fidget spinner that used to be Rose's and he sat there spinning it for 30 minutes straight

he calls it his 'emotional support fidget spinner'

One time he tried to 'upgrade' it to become a sonic fidget spinner and accidentally made it spin so fast one of the spinners came off and crashed into a TARDIS light

after talking to Rose about gender one evening she gave him a little He/They pronoun pin that was TARDIS blue

he hugged her like 5 times in a row and pinned it to his coat super proudly

speaking of his coat he doesn't sleep very often but when he does he uses the coat like a blanket and curls up under it like a kid

Donna starts calling it his 'safety blanket'
