Hi! Some good news from Governor’s Island! My film “Orisha’s Journey” will there tomorrow September 25th for the New York African Film festival’s “Family Day” event. Feel free to stop by! 

Hey y'all! I wanted to share a "Flower Spirit" sequence from my film Orisha's Journey. In African lore, it is believed that spirits dwell within all things and so all nature should be respected. Being of West African descent (Ghana) I grew up hearing tales of this sort which captured my imagination. (shout out to my boy Iker Maidagan on bkg colors!)

Hey y'all! Just got word of a screening in Seattle at the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center African American Film Festival! I'm really grateful any chance my film gets to play for an audience. Thanks for everything y'all! -Abdul

Hi! My film Orisha’s Journey won a “Special Mention Award” at Fupitoons Film Festival in Johanessberg, South Africa last weekend. It’s Africa’s first Animation festival, so I’m honored to have participated.

Abdul Ndadi is an animator from Ghana and a graduate from the School of Visual Arts, NY class of 2013.  He’s created an animation film entitled Orisha’s Journey (2014) which will be shown at the Hiroshima International Animation Festival in Japan (21st August 2014 - 25th August 2014).

Hi all, my film “Orisha’s Journey” was selected to premiere online this Wednesday (December 23rd, 2015) by FILM SHORTAGE for their “Daily Short Picks.” Thank you all for the support and feel free to check it out when its online!

Ghanaian animator Abdul Ndadi’s fantasy film Orisha’s Journey (2014) has made it to the May 2015 Cannes Festival and will be screened in the Short Film Corner section which is part of the Cannes Court Métrage program. 

I am truly honored to be featured in this years festival and I want to give a huge thanks to my family and ALL my friends for their help and support! -Abdul

I had the pleasure meeting director Ari Aster (Midsommar) at the Korean Film Festival where he presented "Save the Green Planet" which was Awesome btw!
