At the checkout, the lady didn’t even look up at you to question why you were buying that particular book. Perhaps she knew how it felt; perhaps she had been through the same kind of thing. It sort of made you feel reassured that you weren’t the only woman that needed their partner to notice them more.

Jinki was in the living room watching a comedy quiz show. With a sweet smile, you told him you were going to put on your pajamas so you could scurry off and begin your little spell.
