You hunched over your laptop, blanket covering your shoulders as your fingers typed furiously on the keyboard. You were so close to finishing your first novel, a romance. You were pretty proud of it if you were honest with yourself. It had taken you years. The only thing that had kept you going all of this time was the memories of your childhood sweetheart that you got to relive as your words danced across the page as you wrote.

There is nothing particularly eloquent or poetic about those words. In fact, they may even be considered weak and a little juvenile.

But Yoongi still committed them - in that exact order, in your exact tone of voice, with your exact inflections - to memory because that is what you had said to him just before what would become the first of a long string of “one-night stands” (i.e. just before the two of you became fuck buddies).

Just was telling them how none of us have time to be dating." Hyunjin and Minho nod in unison understanding the situation better. It was no secret that Felix and Chan liked you. They've told you on multiple occasions and asked you for dates multiple times. As well as confided in you that they were already a couple. The only part that left everyone else unsure was if you liked them back. "Well, she's not wrong. We should focus on our careers right now. You know?" Hyunjin pipes up.
