I have a very very very very important question:
Do y'all haters read acotar just for the sake of critisizing it? Cuz it pisses me off (cuz YES i do get defensive cuz i love them but i get ur freedom of expression stuff) but i get it cuz being judgemental is fun. i like it and I started this post as being sarcastic but now i find it funny. One thing, totally fine with critisizing characters, but its a direct insult to actual humans beings if you call them *dumb*, who, by the way, read sjm bc they like sjm and actually feel happy reading sjm and is certainly smarter than people who read sjm for the sake of hating sjm cuz why waste your time if you don't even like it? It's like wearing the color pink to tell people you hate pink like why do you even bother? also, riceman and feyrugs actually really creative, but my acotar loving side is screaming but all is well.
would love some responses, feel free to hate (since you probably hate for the sake of hating, no judgement even if you call be dumb cuz i am since im failing math) will respond when im bored and will try not to get defensive (but i will)

My opinion on the moral discourse surrounding certain celebs or authors Part I

I love social media. But I hate the backlash that comes every time someone has a different opinion than the generally accepted view. I hate how when someone decides not to take a stance against things like the lgbtq community they get hated or shammed. I hate how we can't just like a certain celebrity but we have to care about whether they have a good background. Supporting black people, supporting the lgbtq community is important, but if your tactics are going to be to shame people who don't support you, then how are you any different from those who oppressed you? This is a small account, and I don’t know how many people would read this. But if you did, thank you for taking the time to do so, and feel free to comment your views, as I know there will be many. I will try to respond to those I could (if any). I believe that our world is changing, and we can't do anything but to accept it. But I also believe that accept doesn't equal support, and while I may not buy rainbow t-shirt, I believe that as long as I don’t insult these people, it is okay, and I shouldn't be shammed because of that. Nor should I be afriad to say I don't wholly support the generally accepted views. I have to believe that, because if social media has become a place where I get insulted or get called racist or homophobic simply because I like certain author or certain celebrities, then social media's original goal of allowing everyone to expres their opinions as long as it doesn't hurt anyone is no longer there.
The thing about sjm
is that as problematic as she is, her writing touches me. I'll be reading acotar or hoeab or tog and then there's these moments where I truly feel the writing. I can connect with what sjm have written, I can connect with what Feyre, Nesta, Aelin is feeling. And she describes it in a way where I read a sentence and what I am feeling or have felt is described perfectly. And there's these sudden bursts of emotions because it's not because she wrote she's sad or she's mad, but she shows how conflicted the character feels, how helpless, how afraid these characters feel, in a way that made me realize that I'm not alone in my feelings and that others have felt what I have felt too. This is why I fell in love with her writing, with her characters. And if she's problematic, then so be it, but I'm not going to stop reading her books because I believe that the book and the author are seperate things and just because you hate the author, doesn't mean you have to hate the characters too. And even if she racist or homophobic, I still thank her for writing these books, for helping me realize that it's going to be okay through her writing.

A thing I really loved about Dorian was that he understood. He understood, and told Chaol that he can't "pick and choose which parts of her [Aelin] to love." And I just get this. *moving from ToG to Shadow and Bone... But Mal... MAL. He only loves Alina when she wasn't being herself. When Alina had to suppress her powers, when Alina played nice. And because of Mal, Alina was SICK for like 7 years. But The Darkling... he understood, like Dorian. He did love Alina, I think, and he loved her wholly. Alina tried to deny it, the connection and the similarities with him, but Alina was really just holding back for Mal once again.

When someone asks who my bf is
Well, that kind of depends... some times it's Rhysand, other times it's Rowan. And then every other Monday is one of the Herondales. Oh no, Lightwoods are on Mondays, Herondales are on Tuesdays. And occasionally, Aleksander Morozova, he usually goes by The Darkling. Either Daniel Altan Wing or Four once a month... and Maxon too if he has the time.

2) Heir of Fire was published on 2014/9/2
-> In both books there's a freakin witch named Manon (which I LOVE in ToG but hate in SaD)

ACOTAR TV adaption
I’m seeing a few comments abt how we need to stop freaking out about acotar’s tv adaption. Tbh, I'm actually fine without the tv adaption, I mean I’m happy for SJM, but I really don’t want how I pictured the story and characters to be changed. (obviously, no one could be as perfect as Rhysie and I really don’t want certain scenes to change)
But yes, I am still VERY excited for it, even if i do have conflicted feelings too.

can anyone tell me when are we getting any updates on the acotar series
people saying Rhysand is an abuser. he never once did what he had to do to Feyre for his own enjoyment or just because he felt like it. He was trapped and Feyre was his way out so helped her by giving her a motive.
And in all my experiences abusers never feel guilty and do that stuff because they feel like.
in my opinion nesta was never locked and forgotten all she had to was ask for help and learn that sometimes when you are at your weakest your family will always be there for you
