I also noticed the same. Maxwell never appears anywhere in any animated short or has a bit of a role in anything, it's almost like he's left out somehow.

It would make sense considering that he probably doesn't like being with the other survivors, but there's also no sign of his stay or even a reference to it, he just doesn't exist.

I think it's because Klei still don't know how to make his magnificent jaw. In any case, each small appearance of Maxwell is a joy.

Being ignored is the worst thing for an stage artist like him, anyway.

Long-ish post about me ranting. (Not important) (Ignore it)

So I was going on the Klei store to get some Maxwell merch (cause why not) And I found nothing.

There is a Charlie poster with just her and the only thing with Maxwell is the the 10 year poster with him in the background. (And the 10 year shirt), (Wilson is the only one else with a poster to himself but he is the main character) Which struck me as weird cause Charlie isn't that big of a character, if you only play the game you hear about her but never see her. It is only if you look at the lore you know who she is. Which is why I find it odd that Maxwell doesn't have more representation from Klei.

So I got curious and checked the shorts he is in (Mainly his own short) and he is either a side character or sharing the spotlight with some one else (i.e. Charlie in his short. Where it was more lore going forward instead of background info about him, there was some but mainly him and Charlie) (Like what about his childhood with Jack or something, what was William like?) The only place he is really alone is the intro to the musical Klei did.

Which it struck me as weird that Maxwell would be sharing his short with Charlie (I get that they were stage show partners) but shorts like Wilson and Willow Maxwell is only either a voice or not even there, giving the spot light to someone else.

He is also no where to be seen in the 10th anniversary loading screen thingy

I think it is just weird that Klei is sidelining Maxwell (IN MY OPINION) Like he is such a good character (This may be my bias kicking in) and he was the only other character (not a playable until you unlock him) in the original game and you can't play Charlie in dst.

I would like a short where it is his childhood with jack and how William acted.
