idk if anyone cares but i made a cover of she had the world and im rlly proud of it ok bye aaa
absolutely nobody:
My brain at 3AM:
happy 17th pretty. odd.!!!!
when i say i've literally grown up with this album... my older cousin always said it was "mine" since i was born only a few months after it released and would always stop crying when she babysat me if she put it on.
i don't talk to my cousin anymore. she's married and has two kids. i didn't go to her wedding, have never met her chldren. but i'll always love her for raising me on such a beautiful and life-changing piece of art.
as my own 17th birthday approaches, i can't help but get sentimental over this album.
whenever i start getting a little 🤏 too sad i have to listen to pretty. odd. on repeat to banish the seasonal depression because that's usually the issue
guys as panic fans we don't talk about the alternate versions of songs from live in chicago enough.
i fall asleep to behind the sea - alternate version EVERY NIGHT ! it's so soothing and pretty and IT'S LITERALLY JUST RYAN SINGING. hooray !!
and the piano knows something i don't know - alternate version is INSANE ??? so beautifully eerie. the overlapping voices are angelic.
they managed to perfectly switch up the feelings of both of the songs while keeping the best parts of them and including more emotion somehow
um but brendon urie gave a toast to pretty odd and mentioned ryan, jon and spencer and holy fuck can u hear my emo heart beating faster and faster im screaming
10 years ago today, Pretty. Odd. was made. 10 years ago today, the little emos never thought that it would be the last album with Ryan and Jon in it. 10 years ago today, we thought that Ryan and Jon will be in the band forever. Oh how wrong we were.
Panic! At The Disco - 8th July 2008 Performing live at the London Astoria
Okay now, real question:
Would you rather have a
Sprouting son or Ageless daughter?
Be honest
