“I…” Maze began. Everyone was silent, clinging on to her every word. “It…it doesn’t quite feel real. Like a dream.”

It was the truth. Nothing quite felt real anymore.

“You’re living the dreams of many people, Miss Donahue,” Caesar replied. “I hope you realize that.”

“It’s more of a nightmare, really.”
