Where your favorite blogs come alive
It amazes me how some people will look at the Blake Lively situation and be like "yeah what happened to her is awful and she is obviously a victim here" but then they see that JB used (to attack Balke) the same PR Firm that JD used on his abuse case and the same people will say "Yeah but Amber is totally the abuser. Did you not see the social media posts during the trial?"
It just shows to me that nothing of this is ever about suvivors and victims and at the end of the day misogyny always win
Elle I will always remember you. Did not deserve that suspension, Twitter didn't understand you.
things that are funnier than “my dog stepped on a bee”
She's fucking breathing, living her life, rising her daughter and smiling, she's a sociopath ex's worst nightmare; a survivor.
my heart crushes for what evan posted but remember that women attacking each other as a way of surviving is a direct result of patriarchy and they shouldn't be judged the way we should judge the men who abuse them
A spokesperson for Amber has confirmed she WILL be appealing the verdict🎉
I'm trying very hard not to get parasocial about Amber Heard because I think it's a bad practice with any celebrity (if anything, D*pp stans have shown us parasocial relationships at their very worst). However, I can't help but feel emotional watching that video of her accepting flowers from her supporters. (Link here: https://twitter(dot)com/jxxxsq/status/1530577392711892995) She's been through so much these past few years and she looked so relieved and touched to see that people DO support her. I hope she gets the justice she deserves, and I sincerely appreciate this blog's presence for making me feel sane about the case.
God, I know. I'm with you. It's not parasocial of us to be relieved or happy to see a woman who has been through so much see that she is still loved by some. I'm so glad she got those flowers and that she knows she's not alone.
They said she slept with the judge, that the judge was the father of The Sun's owner, of course they don't know -and don't care about knowing- how UK trials work
my friend was telling me about the UK trial that the reason 12 out of 14 instances of abuse were accepted by the court was because UK courts do not have cross examinations so if her side provided evidence, it was automatically accepted. neither she nor I am a law student residing in the UK so I’m not sure if this is right but I would like to hear your thoughts about it. (she’s anti heard while I support her)
Lol, this is not remotely true. You can read the transcripts online, of course every witness was cross examined. What a bizarre claim? They will really make up anything to keep the delusion going. I wonder what they'll say when Depp loses.
