my darling please surrender...
vintage the elvis collection trading card, 1992
508. the elvis collection what his fans thought he'd do with a floral guitar we'll never know, but elvis got—and still gets—many of them. this type of gift is illustrative of the amount of revenue elvis generated in non-musical fields. in fact, two of the biggest sales days in floral history were the ones following elvis' death. flowers in all shapes, cakes, teddy bears and other stuffed animals, scrapbooks, plaques and trophies; you name it, and fans have sent it to the king. some of the gifts were donated to the underprivileged and kids in hospitals. many are still stored (or on display) at graceland.
seeing everyone go to Graceland for their breaks hurts me sm.. but I will maintain hope that I will someday visit
Henley Monday -
As much as Beyonce truly (really, truly) inspires me, I still need a little pick-me-up by way of a well dressed man. Enter Aaron Tveit in yet another beautiful plain black henley. I mean can his hair stop for like three seconds? Can it? I need it to take a break from being so perfect.

Yes, folks, it's true. SHE'S BACK. After a prolonged absence due to many and exotic travels I am BACK and OUT OF CONTROL with this Henley Monday because guess what I'm posting Henleys ALL WEEK. THAT'S RIGHT ALL WEEK. BECAUSE I WAS GONE. AND NOW I'M BACK. AND I DEEPLY LOVE AND CHERISH ALL OF YOU AND YOUR MENTAL HEALTH I AM GIVING UNTIL YOUR CUP RUNNETH OVER WITH HOTTIES IN HENLEYS.
We start off this Monday with third-time featuree Aaron Tveit on his 30th BIRTHDAY! SO MANY CAPS BECAUSE OF SO MUCH EXCITEMENT! Happy Birthday, Aaron. Long may you and your perfect smile and elegant coiffure and angelic voice live.
Henley Monday -
Welcome to Henley Monday where every Monday I post a picture of a guy looking really, really attractive while wearing a henley shirt, be it thermal, cotton, linen, short-sleeved, of the sweater variety or whatever the geniuses in menswear have thought up.
This week it's repeat offender Aaron Tveit in this promotion shot for his new USA show "Graceland" and who you might also recognize as dear Enjolras from Les Mis. The monochromatic blue tones are mesmerizing and the architecture of his hair is astonishing. I would very much like to cuddle up next to that henley-clad body on any a moon-lit ocean-view night.
