it was so unexpected for him. you were at his place enjoying time with your boyfriend, or more exactly, your boyfriend enjoying a dorayaki without paying attention to you, you were bored to say the least, your boyfriend was very concentrated in eating and you were scrolling down tiktok killing time at his place, until you saw something not so boring and decided to try it out. you sitted at mikey's lap, gathering his attention towards you, then, the unexpected happened, leaving a chaste kiss to his temple not before saying "I love you, bye" and running away from his tickles, the dorayaki long forgotten.

neither of you expected you to take the first step, but it was inevitable, the way he looked at you with so much tenderness, how he touched you like you were the most fragile thing in the world, how he talked to you in the kindest way, and how he made you feel so at home without saying anything, just enjoying his presence. it was one of your little getaways, chifuyu arriving at your house to take you on a ride around town and going to wherever you wanted, this time you went to the library, he was more of a fan of reading manga but he found so cute how you concentrated on every word in the page and how funny it was to look for your favorite books, taking countless recommendations, the date was full of longing stares and blushing which you caught. after arriving at your house, you got down of his bike and went to your door hesitating whether going inside or saying good night, after gathering enough courage you stood in front of him, "I love you" kissing his lips and blushing, "bye" running to you house, away from the flustered mess of a boy

piles snd piles full of books and homework surrounded you, stress was visible in your face and your boyfriend knew you needed rest, but you wouldn't listen no matter how many times he told you, so he took the matter in his hands and decided to grab all the paper, heading to the kitchen, you were so confused so you followed him, fearing he would destroy everything by burning it. to your relief, it wasn't like that, he positioned everything on a corner and as soon as he saw you he pulled you into the most warm embrace, whispering how much was he proud of you and that you didn't need to overwork yourself, your cheeks turning pink at his comment, you separated yourself from him so that he could look you to your face while you said "I love you" kissing him after, you separated yourselves completely running away from him, grabbing your homework back, "bye" you said while giggling to yourself for the odd demonstration of love.

he stepped in front of you and your friend, pushing the guy back, "what do you think you are doing, idiot?", fighting with words and pushing each other, "I feel very sorry for you, not being able to even pull one girl out" punching the guy in the face.

took you and your friend to a safe place away from the creep, turning around to face you, seeing your puffy eyes, he hugged you so tightly, whispering sweet things and how that guy was so wrong, almost crying with you.

he kissed your tears away and told you to go get something to eat, just to distract you from such horrible moment.

draken's stance just asserts power. yet somehow its also amazing nonchalant he makes it seem. the look on his face is so sure, like he's so confident and self-assured. so fierce!!!!!! and that flag!!! i might be reading too much into this but the fact that it's draken who holds the flag reflects how much he really loves his gang. his family.

even in later chapters, in the future when toman had disbanded, he expresses how much he cared for it and perhaps would even continue or start a new one of given the chance.

then we have mikey. the boss.

he's squinting his eyes like he's judging the entire city below him. idk if its just me but his posture seems kinda guarded, closed off. his shoulders look stiff. but aside from that, his little gloved hand is so cute!

anyway... his face!! the determined furrow of his brows, the hardened look of his eyes, fixed lips and jaw - everything screams revenge about him. he really looks like he could kill someone. his face easily stands out to me more than the others just because of those concentrated, prominent features. absolutely powerful.

his pose is so cute!!! its kinda sly and gives him this air of mystery and yet it also makes him kinda timid and shy. but those eyes! oh my god. and he's staring straight at us!!

but aside from that, he's the only one sitting down and i wonder if thats purposeful or if he just wanted to pose that way. honestly he might've seen some character in his shojo manga pose like this and decided that he wanna do it too to be "as cool as the main character who is loved by the entire female population but is completely unaware of it and only has eyes for one girl whom he would do anything for." - his words.

i havent gotten my friend to watch tr yet but she likes chifuyu so ...... theres still hope???

why did takemitchi decide to leave toman in this timeline??? cuz i dont think there was any reason for him to, at least that i can think of rn. also draken saying dont mix him up in our mess is kinda ... strange because takemitchi is already in the gang life. he is a captain now. unless he meant some other business.

idk what mitsuya meant by he is our leader. what did takemitchi do to earn himself a title like leader???

romantic or not, i really like the bond mitsuya and yuzuha have. something that really struck this thought was mitsuya saying how much he respects yuzuha for what she has done for hakkai. they are both the older siblings to their youngers ones, are protective and caring and loving, have to bear the responsibility of being a parent at a young age. they both know what it takes to be the shield for thier younger siblings. they both know how tiring it is, how much it hurts, how much one requires energy and the patience, how much they have to sacrifice themselves for the safety and happiness of their loved ones.

i really love that mitsuya recognizes the situation yuzuha is in because he himself has been in that same situation. its saying 'i know what youve been through, ive been there before, and youre so brave for being so strong. rest now, ill take care of things from here.' and yuzuha is so happy, so relieved, for being so appreciated because for so long it was kept a secret that she was the one taking taijus punches for hakkai. now theres someone who knows how exactly it feels like.

they both love their siblings and would do it all over again if it is to ensure their happiness and safety. but in the process theyre both starving themselves of their own happiness.

i relate to them so much it hurts.

i wish the female characters in tokrev got to display their fighting abilities more, it would rlly add some more depth to their characterization and i dont mean like they dont have backstories or anything

like some of these girls are real badasses

senju is said to be as powerful as mikey and yet we never see her fight properly??? what was the point??? several characters have commented on her strength, namely wakasa and benkei so then why is she being treated like a fragile little thing. maybe im missing smt but i genuinely dont get why wakasa would tell takemichi to take care of brahman's princess when he himself knows how much strength she possesses. also takemichi cant fight for shit hows he gonne take care of her?

emma is said to have been taught how to fight by her siblings. yet we never see her skills. its a different case if she deliberately chose not to involve herself with gang affairs but what about that battle in the parking lot?? she had the skills to protect herself. even if she does not alter the aftermath of the fight, we wouldve seen her being able to fling two attackers with her umbrella.

yuzuha is the most competent female character i feel like cuz we do actually get to see her fight but idk if its just my memory but i dont actually remember how the fight went. did she beat whoever she was fighting? also i would like to see her more. wish hakkai had invited her to the toman 2.0 so in that way we'd get to see more of her.

hina honestly has such wasted potential. i mean this girl went up to mikey - a person who can knock anyone with just one kick AND whos the leader of a gang - and slapped him in the early episodes! GIRLBOSS BEHAVIOR!!! and then she;s just ... there ... even her promise to protect Takemichi seems weak. i get that shes like the emotional support for takemichi but i wish we got to see her full on blasting guys. imagine ppl just underestimating her cuz shes short and fragile-looking and a GIRL. then she goes and knocks up everyone who charges at her, dislocating their jaw, breaking teeth, three punch to the chest, four to the sides and one special to the groin and she has five guys kneeling at her feet. i feel like she would also like to do some emotional damage while grabbing a guys arm and twisting it like 'damn, you must not be very strong if a mere 5 ft girl can just snap u like a twig'

i would also like to see a female gang like pls wakui-sensei make it happen plz

tokrev has little female characters as it is but to have the ones we do get to be just on the sidelines and only appearing when our mc needs a boost is wasted potential. we couldve had some rlly entertaining stuff like the toman members teaching the girls how to fight or the girls getting together for a trip when they get harassed and boom! the harassers are crying for their moms with blood running down their nose.

im hoping the battle between kantou and toman 2.0 will have senju bring out the monster in her. i wanna see the senju ppl compare to mikey. the one wakasa and benkei praised. the one who was the leader of a gang she formed herself, a gang which was infamous in tokyo and which was one of the three deities.

I watched intently, as Baji was talking to Takemichi and Chifuyu. I knew what they were trying to do. They wanted to convince him to come back to Toman, but I knew he wouldn't budge. I had tried that often enough myself. Kazutora simply mattered too much to Baji. and to be honest, I couldn't blame him. He had known him since we were children, he was his closest friend.

Speaking of the devil, I turned away from the boys, as my Phone started to chime. I looked at the caller ID and saw that it was Kazutora.

"Where the hell are you guys?", he asked, anger laced his voice.

"Why do you care?", I scoffed, "It's not like Baji is your pet, that you can call anytime you need him"

There was a short silence before I heard Kazutora laugh:"You're as feisty, as ever Y/N."

I couldn't help but to smile myself now. I had known Kazutora for years now too and I couldn't remember a time where we didn't fight each other. Baji often had to pull us apart.

"What do you want Kazutora?", I finally asked with a sigh.

"Tell Baji to call me as soon, as he has time.", he paused for a second,"It's about tomorrow"

My eyes wandered back to Baji and the other boys. Tomorrow was Halloween and the fight between Walhalla and Toman would take place. Baji and me would be there as members of Walhalla, much to my and Mikey's dismay.

"Y/N?", Kazutora asked. I looked back at my phone and realized that I hadn't answered him yet.

"I will tell him.", I finally said, before I hung up.

I looked back at Baji, he was talking to Takemichi alone now. I watched, as Chifuyu slowly walked over to me. I winced slightly, as I saw the bandage around his head.

"Hey.", he smiled softly.

I only returned his smile and pulled him in for a hug:"Hey 'fuyu. How are you doing?"

"you know.", he mumbled, slightly rubbing his neck,"Hanging on"

I nodded before stepping closer:"Sorry about that"

I pointed at his bandage, but he only smiled again:"It's alright. I know that you had no choice but to beat me up, if you wanted to join Walhalla."

"I'm still sorry", I said and playfully punched his shoulder. Chifuyu wanted to say something, but just in this moment, Baji and Takemichi returned. I inspected my boyfriends face with mixed feelings. He looked as stoic, as ever. But something had changed, since he left Toman. He just didn't seem as happy anymore.

"Can we go?", he asked and carefully put his arm around my waist to pull me closer.

"We were just catching up.", I explained and pointd at Chifuyu. The boy in front of us didn't say anything, he just eyed Baji with the biggest curiosity in his eyes.

"Until tomorrow", Baji said and turned around to leave.

"See you, Chifuyu", I mumbled and waved at him before quickly following Baji to his bike. 

"Baji, wait!", I yelled at the tall boy. He had already made it to his bike and was leaning against it now, waiting for me to join him.

"What is it, pretty girl?", he smirked as I finally reached him, "Am I too fast for you?"

"What did Takemichi tell you?", I asked, immideately changing the topic. Promptly, the smile fell from Baji's face and he looked down instead.

"He told me to be careful tomorrow", he mumbled. I slowly steppped closer to him, so that only inches seperated us now. I gingerly raised my hands to rest them on Bajis face. The black-haired boy looked up at me with a pained smile.

"It's all gonna end tomorrow", he mumbled and put his hands on my waist, pulling me inbetween his legs.

"Don't talk like that, Baji", I said scoldingly and slightly squished his cheeks.

"Oh don't worry, darling. Nothing's going to end between us.", Baji grinned now, resting his forehead aginst mine," I love you to much for that."

I felt how my cheeks started to warm, as he softly kissed my forehead.

"I love you too", I mumbled and looked up at him. A cheeky smiled adorned his face now. That was him, that was the Baji Keisuke, I fell in love with so many years ago. Back when Toman didn't even exist, when we didn't even know what Love really meant.

"What are you thinking about, my Love?", Baji asked and nudged his nose aginst mine.

I softly giggled at his antics:"I was just thinking about the first time, I had to patch you up. Back then, when you got jumped by the Black Dragons."

"Oh, I certainly remember", Baji mumbled, softly touching the little scar on his lower lip.

"Thank God, we had you back then, you were a lifesaver when it came to patching us up", he smiled.

"Yeah sure", I grinned before pecking his lips, "I've had my fair share of fights too."

"You certainly did, Y/N", Baji laughed,"Remember when I had to patch you up for the first time?"

"Yeah", I smiled,"I had fought the Black Dragon swine, who gave you that bruise."

I softly tapped the tip of my finger against Bajis lip:"And boy, did I got beaten up."

Baji chuckled:"Yeah that was when Mikey decided to show you how to defend yourself. I didn't have to patch you up since then"

I proudly smiled at him,full on knowing that I had to patch him up a lot more times than just once since then.

"Show-off", Baji groaned and started to tickle my sides, a devilish grin on his face.

"Baji, stop!?", I begged and tried to push him away, but it was useless.

"Calm down, pretty girl", Baji laughed as he stopped tickling me but instead pulled me against his chest.

I gulped at our close proximity. We had been together for 3 years now, we had known each other even longer, but he still made my heart flutter like it was the first day of knowing him.

"Do I make you nervous?", Baji mumbled into my ear. I slowly closed my eyes, trying to calm my rapidly beating heart, but it was of no use, as Baji leaned in even closer and softly placed his lips on mine. I kissed him back, just as tenderly, before pulling away.

"Kazutora told me to call you", I whispered, suddenly remembering my promise, "He wants to talk to you about tomorrow"

"I don't wanna hear it", Baji sighed,"He should know by now that I have my own plans. Come on, let's get home"

Baji brushed the topic away and climbed onto his bike. I only shurgged and got on behind him, sliding my arms around his waist, holding on tightly.

"Don't worry, pretty girl. Everything is gonna turn out just fine"
