this is cute but also i like to think the pope has to preface every single statement with "this isn't dogma but" like he has to break character for a sec and clarify that he's not speaking ex cathedra

i read this news just after finishing reading the play The Last Days of Judas Iscariot
and reading that the pope has a similar take to a play that has Monica of Hippo say “pimps up 'hos down!”
was not on my bingo card
so many of us catholics are raised on the fear of hell from infancy
imagine telling a child for centuries
that there is such a thing as a human that deserves to suffer for all of eternity
