Dad's Army S3 E3 The Lion Has Phones
The Warmington on Sea Home Guard demonstrates their clever Camouflage Techiques.
Dad's Army S6 E1 The Deadly Attachment
One of the most iconic scenes in the show's history.
I present my drawing of Captain Mainwaring from the British Sitcom Dad's Army, He is a Bank Manager and World War Two Home Guard Platoon Leader. George Mainwaring was created by David Croft and Jimmy Perry, but was skillfully brought to life by actor Arthur Lowe.
George Mainwaring is a man trying to prove himself and his country that he deserves respect, since he is unlikely to serve in a unit overseas do to his reserved occupation as a Bank Manager being essential to the war effort. Nonetheless Captain Mainwaring and his men are willing any challenge thrown at them with a brave stiff upper lip and a bold sense of determination.
Here's a drawing I did of Comedian and Actress Miranda Hart and here it is side-by-side with its reference photo.
