Crowtober day 1: Pumpkin

Inej was in town and thought Kaz's office needed a bit of spice

drew this little creature last month and forgot that I can actually post things on tumblr

it's a dragonfish! Not entirely anatomically accurate, I fear.

The black dragonfish (Idiacanthus atlanticus) is found in subtropical and temperate oceans and as deep as 6,600 feet (2,000 meters).

Females are up to 16 in (40 cm) long, and males are only 2 in (5 cm). They are bioluminescent and produce a blue-green light from a photophore on the end of their barbel (the string-like thing on their chin) and patches on their sides.

A thing I love to do is telling prepper dudes that one of my disaster readiness skills is making stuffed animals. They never get it. Like, my dude, when things get very bad and we're all sharing overcrowded shelters, you're gonna want the power to comfort children. Trust me.

It took some effort, but Nina being Nina, she managed to convince Zoya to wear the hat

Zoya still refused to wear the dress Nina picked out, and found her own
