Scott and Malia share a full circle from the very first time helped save her. It’s real nice. 

Brett’s is on the run from hunters in this episode like back in season 4 

Satomi, who was/is Brett & Lori’s pack leader and Kira’s mom bunk mate in the Japanese internment camp of season 3 & 4 is mentioned. 

Lori, who helped Scott contained Kira’s Kitsune outburst, has the favor finally returned. 

Gerard repeats to Monroe what he’s been saying since season 2 

Scott has a moment similar to one of Allison’s and says the exact words as Allison.  

Malia almost says these exact words to Scott.  

The moment that Lori tells Brett to close his eyes, is a callback to when Brett told her to do the same back in season 4 just before Kira saves them. Credit to @matalala for help me to recognize that.
