Superman: Lex, I'm Afraid You've Gone Mad With Power.

Superman: Lex, I'm afraid you've gone mad with power.

Lex Luthor: Of course I have! Have you ever tried going mad without power? It's boring. No one listens to you.

Can you I ask what the guys look for in a s/o and also please add what they need in a relationship because sometimes what we want is different from what we need. ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve done what they look for here, so without further ado…

What the 2ps need in a S/O

2p America: Someone who can keep him out of danger when adrenaline tells him otherwise.

2p England: Someone who isn’t a perfectionist, because he puts enough pressure on himself as is.

2p China: Someone who will support and encourage him with dropping his vices, rather than someone who currently shares them.

2p France: Someone who will gently get him out of his comfort zone, and who can easily empathise with others.

2p Russia: Someone with a “work hard, play harder” mentality.

2p Canada: Someone who can get him out of his unhealthy habit of socially isolating himself.

2p North Italy: Someone who will calmly tell him when he’s overreacting and when his temper is boiling over something trivial.

2p Germany: Someone who can take responsibility when social situations get out of hand, even if they’re having fun themselves.

2p Japan: Someone who will call him out when he’s being unnecessarily rude.

2p South Italy: Someone who isn’t materialistic and can give him a reality check when needed.

2p Prussia: Someone patient enough to help him through his struggles with mental illness.

2p Austria: Someone who will read into/entertain his interests even if they aren’t shared.

Assassin’s Creed Origins’ new educational mode is a violence-free tour through ancient Egypt
Assassin’s Creed Origins’ free educational mode is out today.

“My favorite part of an Assassin’s Creed game isn’t the epic story, or the thrill of running across the rooftops of a huge, bustling city. It’s definitely not all of the neck stabbing. Instead, the moments that really stick with me are the quieter ones, where I have the chance to really appreciate the detail that’s gone into creating these historical settings, whether it’s ancient Rome or industrial era London. Unfortunately, often those moments are disrupted when I accidentally enter a restricted area, or when the story forces me to assassinate someone to proceed.”

“Today sees the release of a new “discovery tour” for Assassin’s Creed Origins, and it feels like it was designed specifically for players like me. A completely separate mode, the educational tour does away with the violence and story that are at the core of Origins, and instead gives players a guided look at the realities of ancient Egypt, where the game takes place. It’s sort of like one of those audio tours in museums — except here you can climb a pyramid or ride a boat down the Nile while you learn.”

The First Lady's Library

Abigail Powers started life as a schoolmistress in New York state, and eventually married one of her pupils – future US president Millard Fillmore. The couple, though never rich, acquired a private library of over 4,000 books which was astonishing for the time.  Though Abigail stopped teaching after the birth of their first child, and Millard’s election to the New York state legislature, she never lost her love for learning. Her husband always made sure to buy her a few new books during his travels to cities like Albany, New York, and Washington. So when Abigail moved into the White House, she was horrified to discover that the executive mansion housed not a single book. No library for the president? An outrage.

She got Congress to give the Fillmores $2,000 to start a collection for a presidential library, and Abigail personally supervised the purchase of each item. Maps, reference works, histories, even some novels made their way to the White House’s second-floor parlor, which became the official White House library. The finishing touch was a piano, which Abigail had taught herself to play. Though the room has changed (from the second floor parlor to the ground floor) the White House library is still the most famous legacy of Abigail Powers Fillmore, the First Lady who loved to learn.

All the way from Virginia to Oregon! How long was that trip? Overland or did you take the Panama route?

image

Which went a little something like this:

image

^Richmond VA.

Then down to a Virginian port city.

image

Where he would travel by boat,

image

Down to Panama, where he would take the trans-Panamanian railway to the Pacific coast,

image

In a train that probably looked like this one^. Then back on a boat up to-

image

San Fransico. Where he stayed for a few weeks with a friend looking for a job.

image

And when he did, probably caught a steamer up the coast and upstream like this one^. To Kinnik, which looks kinda like this:

He’s ready for it to be over.

The overland route to Oregon was the more popular, but Alfred’s got a bit of money; so he can afford to go the less physically grueling southern passage. Can’t find a source, but it probably took at least/more than a month.

Aka after Feli fixed the whole misunderstanding with Germany and had a good talk with Rod…

@currymuttonpizza is a wonderful Austria and I love doing weird stuff with them. My Feliciano is 200% supportive of Austria’s feelings for a certain german and really wants to help him out, insert weird shanenigans and headcanons. And someday I will write a proper essay on why I headcanon so strongly that Feliciano has huge commitment issues after the whole HRE fiasco.

Good on Mr. Jones for the positive reinforcement method!

Yeah!! I know his attitude isn’t the stranded 19th-century view, but, change doesn’t come from nothing, and I just don’t see Alfred as the type, ya know? But thanks for the support Anon!!

Good On Mr. Jones For The Positive Reinforcement Method!
