sometimes theres only so much revision you can do, so these are my must-do's to make it through exam szn

🪞cute exam-safe hairstyle !!

✩˚ for some people, this might be a loose, low ponytail, but as someone who struggles with sensory stimuli, especially with bangs (the bane and reason of my existence), i need to get my hair out of my face for all test conditions. double dutch braids are my best friend, but recently i've been trying out braided half-up pigtails which are so cute!

+ bonus points: add a ribbon 🤍

🌷 remove urself from the situation !!

✩˚ until the second that you're required to attend the testing hall (or wherever your exam is held), avoid others and stay outside. it's too easy to get caught up in other people's stress and anxiety, especially when everyone is crowding the narrow hallways and worrying about the same thing

🌨️ hydration maxxing !!

✩˚ this is a lovely tip from my fasting friends (ramadan kareem all!), as chia seeds in water helps the body regulate and retain more water over a longer period of time so you can drink less without needing to go to the bathroom + salt can boost water absorption as well as replenishing any lost electrolytes!

+ be aware: only use a little salt, too much has the opposite effect :(

🦢 lucky rituals !!

✩˚ never, never rely on a lucky item if you dont already have one thats incredibly special, meaningful, and effective for you. instead, just establish a ritual. for me, it's everything above, but it can be anything ranging from super simple or more complex as long as you can guarantee that before every exam, you can practise it

STUFF I AM RECENTLY OBSSESED WITH 𝜗𝜚

I. PALESTINE

— Althought i hope that all of you know that there is a genocide happening in Palestine since 1948, i will still speak about it no matter what. It's a important topic that needs to be discussed everyday. I will not be nice in this post so that you can really grasp the situation that is happening in there. 30,000 CHILDREN ARE DEAD. THAT'S 100 CHILDREN PER DAY. THEY'RE MAIN TARGETS ARE WOMEN, CHILDREN AND BABIES. YEAH. BABIES. THE ISRAELI DEFENCE FORCE LOOKS FOR BABIES THE MOST OF TIMES. THE IDF ALSO LIKES TO MOCK CHILDREN AND WOMEN BY TAKING PICTURES AND POSING WITH THEIR BRAS AND TAKING "FUNNY" VIDEOS IN SCHOOLS WHERE THE CHILDREN WERE KILLED. THEY ARE BOMBING, SHOOTING AND TORTURING HUNDREDS OF PALESTINIANS EVERYDAY. CRUSHING THEIR BODIES WITH TANKS, HANGING THEM FROM THE WALL ETC... TELLING THEM THAT THEY WILL GET FLOUR ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT WAS A TRAP TO BOMB MORE INNOCENT PEOPLE. BOYCOTT WORKS SO BOYCOTT THESE COMAPNIES:

only truthful media that i know where you can know what is happening are al jazeera and twitter. there is much more that happened in palestine and more will happen if we don't REACT. this is basic human rights we are talking about.
