Some underground alt rock band is in the local house show circuit that Nico likes, so because they are in town Leo and Jason got double-dated along. Jason finds he likes house shows more than some of the bigger venues he's been dragged to. People are wall to wall in a cleared-out living room, string lights and handmade tour posters along one wall and the band lighted by shadeless table lamps. Its loud, and stuffy, and the acoustics are shit, but it feels more intimate and communal then some of the larger shows.

Also Leo lets lose a little more in these settings, like the smaller more congested crowd allows him to feel less self chonchis about himself. And he's stunning tonight, his button-up without his usual undershirt and unbuttoned three lower than normal, loosely tucked into a pair of skin tight jeans that look like they have been painted on with these chunky combat boots that boosts him up an extra inch

And eyeliner, he's wearing eyeliner. It makes his eyes glow, makes his face magnetic. More than before, more than normal. Add the flush from dancing and the crowd and Jason is about a minute away from corraling him against a wall and eating him alive

It also has to be the way he's smiling as he dances, letting Will spin him for the fun of it. There is not much room to move up by the front where Nico is, but Will and Leo are farther in the back where the audience is less shoulder to shoulder. It gives them space to move, and Leo is always jaw-dropping when he's moving

Jason could take him right here, right now, on the floor in the crowd in front of everyone. He knows people are looking at his Leo, how could they not when he is like this. If it wasn't for the dark clusters of love bites proudly displayed by the long dip of his open shirt Jason is pretty sure he would be getting all jealous. Instead he feels this heady possessive pride in his Leo wash over him, fucking branded with Jason’s teeth marks showing off how taken he is

People can watch, Jason really doesn't care who sees as long as he can keep making it clear that Leo is his

Jason might need to reel it in, he's pretty sure he's starting to scare the nice lady at the merch table next to him. He's been told more than once he tends to scowl when he watches his Leo and wants him in his head. Big dudes against the wall glaring into the crowd do make people nervous, so he goes to do something about it
