Well, we know that for the Sgt Pepper shots they were told to project love through the camera, and John... turned to Paul. So there's this.

There is this photo that Pattie took where she herself says, “Something was going on.” So... we can’t discount this. 

But also, for some reason the gifs of the BTS of MMT really get to me. It’s so casually lovely and intimate. I joked the other day that I’m starting the rumour that this was when they fucked and India was actually just the beginning of the slow fall out. So anyway. These are very important to me:

I love the promo videos for Ticket to Ride and We Can Work it Out. The second one just sends me because the others are SO done. George literally gives up and sits down and John and Paul are just vibing away. LOVE IT. 

Another one is this interview - John just looks besotted with Paul for some reason. I mean... we know why. But it’s so cute. 

Finally, I can’t let this go without mentioning John looking out for Paul when he’s sick. Yes please. 

I want you to remember:

There’s this idea that Enjolras is this man who is so stoic and full of Righteous Anger(TM) and is just done 100% with idiocy, and while yes, I can see how that came about, but like,

Enjolras in the brick is just so thoughtful about everything he does, and cares deeply about everyone around him. He treats everyone equally and fairly and lovingly.

He’s just lost in his own thoughts half the time, and just loves to watch his friends joke and have fun, and just cares so much, but also can have tunnel vision and isn’t that great with assessing the relative normal response to things and ends up being chaotic.

Please just give me an Enjolras that loves and cries and feels so so deeply, and may seem scary or quiet but is actually so thoughtful of others and actually kind of lacking in common sense and wants to be seen as human and be able to open up to people and show them that he has flaws and faults and is human.

backbeat is much more focused on john and stu's relationship (and stu being with astrid) than john and paul. that being said it was pretty interesting, and i thought they did a good casting job with actors that looked close to the quarrymen! kinda drags a bit but not that bad :3
