Hiiii! You guys should ask me some questions about the Diamond!Hype AU! (I’m very sick rn and I need smth to do but I can’t draw 👍)

Just realized Branch probably would have had to have been in Kismet between Trolls 1 and World Tour for it to make sense timeline wise because he said in the first movie that he didn't sing a single note after his grandma dies and I doubt he would have been in 2 boy bands before the age of what, 10? So yeah, he would have had to have been in Kismet AND have had frosted tips between movie 1 and movie 2. Boom. Just fixed my own timeline.

I love them all so much you don’t even know

I'm finally came around to do my own Trolls HC list-thing (most are Branch related cuz he's my favourite):

Branch has almost perfectly trained senses from living and surviving on his own in the wilderness; he's got a very sensitive nose and he can easily hear the smallest movements even if they're fairly far away, etc.

Poppy makes sure to at least make a little noise when approaching Branch, as to not catch him off guard, since he had a tendency to get lost in thought when he feels he's in a safe and secure space, and can lower his defences. Kismet does the same (they're found family to me idc)

In the beginning, the bros found it kind of annoying/confusing how Poppy would start getting louder and yell out Branch's name every time they were getting close to him, probably shrugging it off to her just being a very hyper and overexcited girlfriend. It wasn't until they got to experience first-hand how Branch reacted when they suddenly just touched him while deep in thought, and let's just say, after having their arm pinned behind their back and a sharpened stick held to their throat a few too many times, they learned to give a heads-up.

Branch needs glasses. He stopped wearing them after Rosiepuff got eaten to fully avoid any connection with Brozone and his boyband persona. He's not completely blind and can still get around, but he relies mostly on his other senses (which also got way more sharp because of that), and has to get up close to see things in detail.

A HC I think I shared before: Branch is freakishly strong, but doesn't look it at first glance - He's very much humbled the bros (especially JD and Bruce) with this fact, when they try to wrestle him into a headlock to give him a nookie or a Wet Willy (JD and Bruce) and he just won't budge (Kismet knows to not even try) or when they want to help him carry something and they almost collapse under they weight when he hands it to them.

Besides being his vehicle, Rhonda is also JD's (unofficial) therapy animal.

Clay can't swim. He never learned since he spent his entire life in either the trolltree or the abandon golfcourse. When Bruce learns this, he takes it upon himself to try and teach him, but to their shared frustration, they both (Clay and Bruce) discover that Clay is apparently deadly afraid of open waters.

Bruce also didn't know how to swim when he first left the trolltree. He got washed up on vacay Island, having been staying afloat by holding onto a branch. The vacationers taught him how to swim.

JD can cook circles around most trolls. He did most of the cooking back in the trolltree 'cuz Rosiepuff was a horrible cook (referencing her apparently rancid-tasting fluffleberry cake), he also taught (Sp)Bruce how to cook, but never got around to teach the others 'cuz they split up. Bruce later incorporated some of JD's recipes into the menu at the restaurant.

Branch's tastebuds are pretty hardened (some might say almost nonexistent), and trolls tend to assume it's from his survival years, where he'd just eat whatever as long as it was edible, didn't matter what it tasted like. In reality, it's mostly from solely eating Rosiepuff's cooking for like maybe a year or two after the band split up (yeah that's all it took to mess them tastebuds up for years after). Ofc in the beginning, he had to force himself to even put the food in his mouth, but he did it 'cuz he wanted to make his grandma happy.

Kismet was formed shortly after the bros left. It was Rosiepuff who encouraged Branch to socialize with other trollings around his age, since he became very closed off after the split (tho' I think he'd been a pretty shy and quiet kid to begin with (with the exception of when he performed as Bitty B))

Branch used to get bullied (more) for his greyness as a kid. Kismet would chase them off.

Although Branch is not as forgiving either, Kismet 100% holds a grudge for the bros leaving Branch - the Snackpack too, when they also learn what happened.

The bros are absolutely bewildered by the fact that Branch is dating the Queen, and that he'd probably one day be King. Branch himself gets very anxious when they mention this; just the thought of that much responsibility and being in the spotlight like that has him sweating.

Bruce's favorite way of annoying Branch is to tease him about his and Poppy's relationship, asking him when he can expect the wedding invitations and some nieces or nephews. In reality, it's probably Poppy that proposes in the future, with a long, romantic and heartfelt speech ofc (and yes, he cries).

So like... We're all in agreement that regardless of when Branch met the other members of Kismet, they immediately basically adopted him, right? They're his brothers by choice and I need more fics where Ablaze decks JD in the face. I might end up writing one myself just to satisfy my need to cause that little fucker pain.

“Letter for help” part 1/2

The night they finished the first floor of the bunker, they all slept in the center of the "living room" and only shared one blanket.

Doing more Trolls (Branch-centric ‘cuz he’s my favorite) headcanons:

Branch speaks both Spanish and Korean, he learned from the K-pop Gang and Reggaeton Trolls

Kismet all have minor scars from either getting in a tussle with Branch, or saving him from trouble (taking on a big predator-critter on his own, one of his inventions almost exploding in his face, getting into confrontations with trolls bothering him (aka Creek and co.), etc.)

YK how we see how trolls can make their hair glow in the dark in ttbgo? Branch’s eyes glow in the dark. It’s pretty rare, since most trolls don’t roam in complete darkness, like he probably did for so many years to avoid detection from predators, so most trolls don’t even know they have that capability. It allows him to see in the dark, as well as scare the shit out of anyone that might catch a glance of him (Kismet, the bros, etc.)

A continuation of the hc that Branch needs glasses, from the post linked above: Since he stopped wearing glasses at such a young age, Branch struggled a lot with both reading and writing. This resulted in him having to label things in his ration-stock with very big letters, which were often also misspelled. No one, neither Kismet nor the Snackpack, thought to correct him, since they didn’t deem it too important, but Clay was genuinely saddened by the fact that Branch had had to struggle with this from such a young age. He offers to help Branch correct the mistakes and teach him how to read and write properly, which makes Branch extremely embarrassed at first, but he reluctantly obliges when he sees how nonjudgmental Clay is about it. Clay later discovers that the main reason Branch struggles so much, is bcs he needs glasses, and not just bcs he never got taught grammar past the age of like five (around the time Rosiepuff died). This has Clay silently cursing himself out, ‘cuz how could he forget in the first place that his baby brother needed glasses?? He makes it his objective to get Branch some new glasses, which Branch shows much reluctance to in the beginning, and it takes a lot of convincing from Clay, Poppy and everyone else to get him to try it. Cue Branch seeing clearly for the first time in 20 years, and the first -and almost only thing he can comment on, is how beautiful Poppy is. Cue Poppy getting emotional.

Bruce probably has the softest hair in the world, and gets pretty upset when he learns that Branch, whose hair used to be almost as soft as his, hasn’t done any haircare other than brushing it every few weeks for 20 years. That and just taking a break and relaxing overall. He takes it upon himself to try and get Branch to relax, and tries to treat him to a bro-spa-day, but ends up going way overboard with face masks, hair rollers, sauna, whale sounds, burning lavender-scented incense, etc. It’s all just way too overstimulating, and instead of relaxing, Branch is just put in a state of overwhelming, suffocating stress. Bruce his completely oblivious to this, until Brandy points out how Branch had already accidentally crushed five coconut-drinks in his hand, and maybe, he should try and sus out what’s bothering him instead of continually handing him drinks. This leads to Bruce pulling Branch away, where they have an heart-to-heart; Branch tries to apologize at first, since he was trying so hard to keep up and stay relaxed, as to not bring down the mood, and mentions how the trolls back in pop-village would always complain that he did that, back when he was gray. Bruce is heartbroken when hearing this; for one, the fact that Branch had to endure so much (frankly a little cruel) judgement from everyone around him, when he’d just been afraid, instead of anyone helping him or taking his feelings into consideration. And secondly, that he now felt he couldn’t speak up about what’s bothering him, with the fear he’d be rejected. Bruce ofc tells him he has nothing to apologize for, and that it should be him apologizing, since he never even noticed how uncomfortable Branch was; and they continue the rest of the bro-spa-day, doing something low key, but still relaxing.

Floyd partied hard during his solo-career days, and is horrified to see his baby brother with a candy sucker (I hc them as being like drugs for trolls)

Branch clings to others when he sleeps, but only sleeps when he feels secure enough, so there’s been many sleepless nights. Kismet tries to combat this by staying with him to ‘keep lookout’ while he naps. This is how they discovered the clinging, and it later evolved into all of Kismet taking regular naps together, in an almost sleep pile (think the Croods)

Branch is a silent observer and easily notices patterns and specific quirks with the ones he’s close with. This leads to him often being a step ahead; Ablaze likes his coffee a certain way at a specific time in the morning? Branch already has it ready for him when he walks in the kitchen. Hype has a tendency to bump into a specific spot on the table every time he walks past it? Branch is there, ready to hold a protective hand over the spot when he walks by. Poppy usually runs out of scrapbooking-material around the same time at the end of every week? Branch is already waiting at her door with another unrequested ‘delivery’. Branch always returning with specific things, snacks, etc, every time he return from a run in the village, because ‘he knew they (each individual member of Kismet) liked those things thing, snacks, etc.

Branch doesn’t show physical affection very often, so when he does, it’s automatic bragging-rights for whomever got shown affection (Kismet, Brozone, The Snackpack), plus it often puts them in an emotional state. (And yes, everyone (Kismet and Brozone) is very jealous of Poppy and how much more physical affection Branch shows her)

Branch: Hey want to see an impression of my brothers?

Kismet: Sure.

*Branch leaves.*

Ablaze: Trickee gave me a get better soon card.

Boom: That's sweet!

Ablaze: I wasn't sick, they just think I can do better.

Ablaze: The universe is cold and unfeeling. The only constant is chaos.

Hype : Was the canteen out of chocolate-chip pancakes again?

Trickee: I'm not mean. Name one mean thing I’ve ever done.

Boom: When we were younger, you convinced me eggs weren't real.

Trickee: They're not.

Boom: Haha, very funny.

Trickee: I'm serious. Didn't you hear?

Boom: No... what happened?

Trickee: ...Why would you fall for this again-

Branch: “Struggle with depression” would seem to imply that I am bad at being depressed when I am, in fact, very proficient at being depressed.

Creek: I feel like I have died and gone to heaven.

Branch: I have that dream, too, but you go in the other direction.

Poppy : I am in charge of this disaster!

Branch: I have a name, you know.

Branch: Anyone down to take couples counseling and see at what point the therapist realizes we barely know each other?

Poppy : Idiots to lovers, 20k words, angst with a happy ending.

Poppy : Five little monkeys jumping on the bed. One fell off and…

Branch: Was diagnosed with mesothelioma.

Poppy : Mamma called the doctor and the doctor said…

Creek: You might be entitled to financial compensation if he or a loved one dies.

Creek: Hey besties-

Branch: Die.

Creek: What did I do to you-

Branch: Poppy is restricted to decaf for the rest of this adventure.

Poppy : You were stabbed. Do you remember anything?

Boom : Only the ambulance ride to the hospital.

Poppy : That wasn't an ambulance, I drove you.

Boom : But I heard a siren.

Trickee: That was Hype .

Hype : Sorry, I got nervous.

Branch: Why is Ablaze crying on the floor?

Hype : he’s drunk.

Branch: And?

Hype : he saw a picture of Trickee's spouse.

Branch: But he’s Trickee's spouse.

Hype : I know.

Ablaze : I wasn’t that drunk.

Branch: You colored my face with a highlighter because you said I was important.

Ablaze : BECAUSE YOU ARE!

Trickee: I’ve only had Branch for a day and a half but if anything happened to them I would kill everyone in this room and then myself.

Trickee: I don’t know how you have your foot in your mouth, your head up your ass, and your nose in my business. But here we are, you fucking wizard.

Branch: I WOULD DESTROY THE WORLD FOR YOU!

Boom : Okay, can you do the dishes?

Branch: No!

Trolls Crack

Ablaze to other trolls: we have come to the conclusion that the only trickee has not died yet from all the stupid shit is because the Reaper/death has to face off a pissed off branch and no one wants to face a piss off branch

Branch to kismet,brozone, and snack pack: I have been to hell and back. While I was there Satan started to cry because he was not ready to give up the throne.

Branch to brozone and kismet: I wanna kill someone

Brozone worried JD: I don't think that's a good plan there bud

Bruce: yeah what if you get caught not going to bail you out

Hype: I got us alibis

Boom: I've got the clean supplies and gloves

ANYWAYS headcanons of the au that are canon znsjsj

•Ablaze was the first one Branch broke down in front of, igniting Ablaze's (parental) senses a bit early, though he did look at Branch as a little brother first

•Trickee carries them all to bed, including Ablaze(mainly because he stays up to keep watch but Trickee drags him to bed)

•Hype use to babysit Poppy when she was little, needless to say he has embarrassing stories to tell Viva

•Branch would help Ablaze dig out their rooms, of course it didn't happen everyday as both Ablaze and Trickee wanted to let Branch and the others have a good childhood

•Boom got a growth spurt when he was 15, making Branch the shortest one for awhile

•Hype is a lot calmer when he's in the bunker, but get him to a party with tunes he loves and he's pulling the troll next to him to dance(it's usually Branch, poor guy doesn't learn)

•Ablaze went a bit feral, it's nothing new but he still does things out of habit like; growling, digging, running on all fours, have the need to scratch something, even when they go camping he's catching fish with his teeth

•Ablaze and Sid Fret are half brothers dnsnsnsn

Poppy: Branch, you need to hide your brothers.

Branch: Why?

Poppy: Well I was talking to Hype and the others and I accidentally mentioned what happened on Rhonda and well…

Kismet: JOHN DORY, BRUCE, CLAY GET YOUR BUTTS OUT HERE. WE HAVE SOME UNFINISHED BUSINESS!

Branch: Oh my brothers are going to be dead.

*Kismet seeing Creek running*

Hype: Man, look at this guy running.

Boom: The hair is he running for?

Trickee: Is someone chasing him or something?

Notable Dynamics in Kismet!

These are all in relation to my depiction of Kismet and how I write them, you can see my oneshot collection Familiar and New for some more context.

Ablaze and Trickee

- Ablaze and Trickee get along great. Maybe a little too well, they've both got a willingness to throw a punch that can be a little off-putting, especially to Pop Trolls.

- Their first real interaction was Trickee socking Ablaze right in the face and getting a black eye in return. They had a mutual respect for each other after that.

- Both of them are wildly protective even if they show it differently and after Kismet formed it created a strong bond between the two of them.

- As the two oldest they have a sort of comradery between them. There have been nights where they've stayed up late into the morning talking about BroZone and how much they despise them for what they did to Branch. Trickee doesn't mean it, Ablaze does.

Boom and Hype

- They already knew each other, vaguely, before Kismet. Back when they were Trollings in the Troll Tree their pods were fairly close to each other so they played with each other a lot before the great escape.

- Both of them are fairly emotional and positive and in a band full of repressed idiots and that's created a deeper connection between the two.

- They take great pleasure in ganging up on their bandmates to force them to talk about their feelings, especially Ablaze and Branch because it's an 80-20 chance that it'll work when it comes to those two. When they succeed they're very smug about it.

Trickee and Branch

- Trickee latched onto Branch after the whole Creek scenario, how angry and suspicious Branch was broke Trickee's heart, and Branch subconsciously latched on just as hard.

- Trickee has to sneak out to hangout with Branch but he couldn't care less about how much his mother hates the grey Troll.

- Branch tries really hard not to get attached to Trickee but it's hard when Trickee is always by his side with a fond smile and an angry retort for anyone who so much as looks at him wrong. He missed feeling loved and Trickee reminded him what it feels like to have someone who actually cares about him. It terrifies him.

- Trickee is so angry at BroZone and Pop Village on Branch's behalf, his determination to prove to Branch that he's not defective turned into a real and adamant adoration for the younger Troll that attached them at the hip for years. That desperation died down the longer they knew each other but the fire and drive that glued them together never left.

Gen

They band was formed shortly after the events of Trolls 1. It's the only way they make sense in my mind's timeline.

Branch was trying to get more involved with Troll village without relying on Poppy to connect him with people. He formed his own group of friends, and they became Kismet after realizing how much they enjoyed harmonizing/performing together.

These guys give me frat boy energy for some reason. They just collectively become more chaotic when they're around each other. Yes, even Branch. He and Hype play hot potato with the braincell because otherwise, nothing would get done in this group.

As they got to know one another, teasing one another became their primary love language. Lots of jabs and quips will fly among them when they're together, but they each know it's all in good fun.

Branch

Branch kept his involvement in the band a secret because, well...y'know. He has complicated history with being in a boyband, so he wanted to explore his feelings about Kismet without being bombarded with input from people outside the group.

He's fond of his friends and genuinely enjoys being a part of the band though! He just wants to be sure he's a part of this boy band because he's happy being with them and not because he's trying to recapture something he'd lost 20 years ago.

At first, the others were (understandably) hurt by Branch's desire to keep his place in the band a secret, but after he explained his reasons, they were willing to support him.

They were absolutely thrilled when he finally becomes open about the band though!

During the secrecy period, when he performs in Pop Village, he hides his identity behind a disguise that somehow works (Branch, every time it works: "wtf????"), and he goes by a stage name.

Hype

Officially the group leader, but he's more of a mediator than anything. He relies on the rest of the group to give their input for any big band decisions, but he coordinates band meetings, schedules gigs, and works out compromises if there's any group conflicts.

He and Branch had been childhood friends before The Incident(s) estranged them. Back in the Troll Tree, they'd been neighbors whose parents (Branch's grandma; Hype's mom) set up on frequent playdates, so they'd been really close.

They reconnected after the events of movie 1, Hype introduced Branch to Trickee and later Boom. Trickee brought in Ablaze and the rest was history.

Hype is a social butterly but he's otherwise one of the more calm personalities in the group. He feeds off of other people's energy and is a bit of a people-pleaser. Luckily, he's pretty good at finding the right crowd to run with, otherwise he'd probably land in so much trouble.

Boom

Hype's cousin, and a big party person! Before the band took off, he DJ'd at a party venue in Pop Village. That same place was also where Kismet got their first gig!

He loves loud music and flashy parties where he can shine on the dance floor and make memories people he may only know for a night.

Peak ADHD Energy™. He's a chatterbox. He has no volume control. He tunnel visions so hard, he becomes that B99 headphones meme. The man has cool guy syndrome, no doubt about it!

For the creation of the Band earliest albums, Boom took charge as the producer. He loves messing with music, mixing and remixing sounds on his free time and experimenting with the genre.

Trickee

A thrill-seeking menace to society. He's adventurous and loves taking huge risks for the adrenaline rush. He's the type of guy who would go down a waterfall in a barrel or ski down a dangerous mountain just to see if he survives it.

Everyone in the band is in agreement about protecting Trickee from his own shenanigans. They are 70% of his self-preservation senses.

He also loves a party scene and can often be found with Boom leading the charge towards any good time.

You know that sense of dread before performing in front of a crowd? The way your belly flips and your heart races and you're sure you're shaking hard enough for everyone to see? Trickee lives for that shit when he's in the band. The jitters can get to him, for sure, but afterwards, the man is LIVING from coming out alive on the other side, and he's sharing that thrill with everyone else in the band!

Ablaze

A Rock Troll who has lived among the Pop Trolls since he was a teenager. He stumbled across them while looking for a place to belong, and despite what he was raised to believe about Pop Trolls, he came to love their warmth and friendliness. So he moved in and let everyone assume he was just an odd-looking Pop Troll.

He an Trickee are housemates (podmates?)--not for romantic reasons but because they're longtime friends. When Trickee moved out of his family's home, Ablaze invited him over, and they liked the living arrangement enough to keep it permanent.

At first, Ablaze isn't open about his identity as a Rock Troll, but as he grew closer with the other members of Kismet, he came out to them. By the events of Trolls 2, he's open about being a Rock Troll.

Ablaze's personality sits somewhere in the realm of both chaotic and laid back. On the outside, he's usually pretty chill, but if Boom or Trickee have trouble afoot, Ablaze is usually there egging them on in the background, much to Branch's dismay.

He becomes extremely energetic when he's performing. The more exciting the song, the more vibrant he becomes! The energy is one of the reasons he loves pop music so much, but he can also get hyped from performing rock music. He gets kinda intense though lmao.

The first time the rest of Kismet sees him jamming to rock, they're like "OH. He's definitely a rock troll O_O" They support their rock-n-roll brethren 🤟😔

He has a special interest in fire, particularly fireworks. Back in Pop Village, he even made a business of it, making small rockets, sparklers, and other celebratory items for all your Pop party needs.

Anyway that's all the headcannon stuff I'll share for now. Hope y'all liked reading xD I'm really hoping my attention span will stick around long enough for me to share more in the future, because this fixation has been A Time™/pos

HELP MY BRAIN REALLY LIKES COMING UP WITH HEADCANNONS FOR NSYNC’S TROLL-SONAS

Feral Kismet and Feral Branch AU HCs

* All five of them are grey have been since they were kids.

* They were in a orphanage together

* When they escaped the troll tree the caretaker of the orphanage made sure they would get left behind once out of the tunnel.

* All five of them suffered from memory issues

* They all have tails and claws

* Ablaze, Trickee, and Branch have thick fur

* Since Boom and Hype are glitter trolls they have no fur at all so they have to wear jackets made out of leaves.

* They play fight like lion cubs always pouncing on each other

* Ablaze is in charge

* Trickee is second in command

* Branch is the youngest

* If the play fighting gets bad Ablaze will pick on of them up by the scuff of the neck and separate them

* He has to do this to Branch a lot

* They all sleep curled up together

* They are rarely separated from each other

* They are covered in scars

* They basically have like a wolf pack dynamic

Oh boy, here take these

I like to think Trickee was the one that found him first, so him being the oldest of the group he became the big brother for them, although he doesn't act like it at all

Branch and Boom are a year apart so they are the youngest in the group, and have a strong bond, called themselves twins at some point, Hype didn't have the heart to tell them that twins are the same age

Ablaze is the adventurous type, Trickee is second, like he will literally do side quests when he's only suppose to be foraging, often gets into wrestling matches with Trickee

In my Kismet with feral Branch AU the guys have learned to understand Branch’s growls and animal sounds and will have full conversation with him that to any other troll looks one sided.

Ablaze and John Dory

These are just some snippets of my Ablaze and John Dory headcanons that are scattered around the Trolls Discord.

Ablaze despises BroZone and he doesn't even try to hide it. The second they're off the stage after their reunion show with BroZone at Vacay Island all happy pretenses are dropped.

John Dory, the overzealous and oblivious bastard that he is, comes up to Ablaze and claps him on the shoulder to compliment his performance but before he can even get a word out Ablaze snarls and shrugs him off with a harsh "Don't touch me."

JD only has time to look affronted and open his mouth to retort before Ablaze stalks off to go throw his arm over Branch's shoulders and ruffle his hair- which Branch will not let John do- with a bright smile and an "Amazing as always, B." on his tongue.

Thus began the rivalry.

Ablaze and John Dory fight a lot, obviously, even if it's in the most petty ways that can fly under the radar. Ablaze will hold the door for everyone but John Dory, John Dory will invite every other member of Kismet except Ablaze out with BroZone, etc. One day, after John Dory does something else stupid and petty like give only Ablaze "constructive criticism" on his performance Ablaze just leans in, looks John Dory dead in the eyes, and says "I will be there for him long after you're dead in the ground." and just walks away.

And just for fun take a little snippet that will be written into a Familiar and New chapter or maybe even it's own story somewhere down the line:

Who the hell did this troll think he was to barge into their space and attack one of their own? Branch's shoulders are rising up to meet his drooping ears and he has this haunted and scared look on his face that only feeds into the volcanic fury burning through Ablaze's veins.

"I don't even know why I try with you," John Dory hisses, pinching the bridge of his nose, and Branch makes this wounded noise deep in the back of his throat. Ablaze sees red. With an outraged snarl he lunges over the couch and tackles John Dory to the ground, uncaring of the startled cries that ring out around him. He reels his fist back and slams it into the bastard's face, relishing in the crack he feels beneath his knuckles. John Dory flails, unprepared, and Ablaze uses the opportunity to hit him again, and again, and again and a sick pleasure sparks in his gut at the sight of John Dory's face getting progressively bloodier.

Arms scramble for purchase on his shoulders, his vest, even tangling desperately into the hair at the nape of his neck but Ablaze fights against their hold and struggles to get a few more hits in. No one gets to talk to his band like that. He'll be damned if he sits back and lets John Dory open his vile mouth to say one more twisted criticism to his little brother. Branch was his.

"'Blaze!" Branch's panicked voice cuts through the rage and he finally lets the paws drag him away from John's trembling body with a low growl

Hype: Boom?

Boom: Yeah?

Hype: Trickee and Ablaze are being whispery to each other, should we be concerned?

Boom: Not unless Branch gets involved

*sees Branch whispering to them*

Boom: Now we need to be concerned.

So, I wanted to make an AU of trolls, but I really didn't like any idea that I got. So, I just shut down the idea. And now I actually know what I would like to do. I just thought, what if John Dory never left in the first place and during the Bergen escape, he found four little trolls who look like they were left behind and decided to help them.

In this AU, we have John Dory taking care of little Kismet. Kismet still has some family members alive who take care of them, but they prefer to stay with Branch and John Dory.

This is after they left the tunnel to escape Bergen Town. They were caught by a wild beast.

I'm sorry this is bad.

By the way, the au name is Bros and Brothers. I'm not really good with names, so this is all I could think of.

I would love to see this in a fic

JD is branches bio father but JD didn't have him till after the band had a falling out. Like it was just them in the band they had the argument John left to go to the neverglad trail and a few a bit after finds out he has an egg in his hair like it could be from an ex back at the troll tree (my favorite option) or it could be like someone he met on his travels. He vows to raise branch better then his own parents and what he did to his brothers. He learned his lesson. Branch still meets kismet they are his best friends and together deside to start a band. Jd is in full support of his son and is their manager and make sure they don't make the same mistakes he did. The rest of kismet are like his kids As well. They travel around the world living life and kismet doing concerts. The other brothers have no idea that John has a kid and that said kid is in a famous band. Floyd and Bruce see like magazines and poster of the band and think that one of the members looks like someone from their family but never look in to it. On a day that kismet make JD rest and take a break he runs into Floyd. Floyd's like hi how you doing and they talk for a bit. JD is thinking of how to tell him that hes an uncle. When Floyd make a comment about kismet so jd just goes about that the lead is my kid your nephew. Jd starts to brag on how proud he is of branch and the rest of kismet. Floyd trys to convince jd to tell him meet branch. Branch knows he have uncles and that them and his dad had a falling out and a bit of why.

Sorry for the rambling I suck at writing but this is a concept that has been in my head the last few day
