take yourself on a date. get to know who you are. learn your interests. prioritize yourself. we spend too much of our time out of touch with who we really are. we try so hard to fit in, to impress others, we lose sight of ourselves. it’s time to put ourselves first. it’s not selfish, it is self care. you cannot grow if you never change. you deserve the life that you dream of.

i think one of the most important things you learn about making connections with others is that a significant portion of the time people just do not know theyre doing what theyre doing

sometimes I can’t fathom the fact that I’m perceived as something good in other peoples lives. you’re telling me that I’m actually lovable? that people actually love me and care for me? that I’m associated with something positive and people want me to stay in their lives? that there is hope for me? that people think about me and miss me? that there are people who love me unconditionally? wow.
