Summary:

[While former Special Grade sorcerer Getō Suguru had been declared a Curse User, to be killed on sight, Special Grade sorcerer Gojō Satoru’s whereabouts and status remained an odd mystery.

There was no body to be found.

Neither did anyone see the boy ever again.

There were rumors, though. Hearsay. Stories shared in hushed whispers. And hillingly, morbidly, all of them led back to one Getō Suguru.]

Or: Gojō doesn’t make it out of his first fight against Tōji - he doesn’t fully die, either. Getō latches on regardless.

Borneo: a biologist is working, looking for snakes in a pond. Orangutan thinks the man is stuck, reaches out a hand to help him climb to safety.
