Before mermay ends, I wanted to revisit my eelsona by adding more eldritch-insectoïdes features and changing the mouth to the vampire mandible I usually draw on my other ghouls.

I think this was an experiment with coloring loose sketches

recent asks 'n' vibes got me in the mood to toss some loose shading and colors onto a few old Tali sketches. The top drawing is an old framed picture (uh, I mean... framed... hologram) that Rael'Zorah has on his work desk where he does dangerous taboo science.

Messmer held her until the eye finished growing back :)

But yep, i think Marika retains too many human emotions even after her ascension - a God who is full of tears and fear of pain and love, love, love.

so no matter how much it hurts, no matter how afraid she is, she’ll keep doing it anyway, the things that will tear her apart.

Fun fact about the Chozo Soldiers: the model for the boss in Elun (specifically the cutscene version) is the only one for whom changing the color of the eyes is an easy task.

In the cutscene, the soldier sits dormant atop a pile of rubble and corpses. The eyes are black when Samus walks in the room. Then the camera zooms in on the soldier's face and they begin to glow white.

The mesh for the boss in Elun has a component that the other soldiers don't have: a little segment over the eyes that controls the color.

The Elite Soldier from the shipyard doesn't have that.

You'd need the model from quarantine if you sought to change the color of the eyes. Aside from that, the models for the different Chozo Soldiers are mostly the same, so you could take the textures for the ChozoSoldier (black) ChozoSoldierNormal (red) and EliteChozoSoldier (gold) and apply them interchangeably to whichever model you've exported from the files.
