Trying to figure out how this void clone business works. She’ll be fine In no way did this NEED to be this blatantly indulgent but here we are. Diagrams are boring, okay. Uhh what else. The clone feels something like pain but not quite, and the complete lack of a self preservation instinct means the “you are damaged” signal isn’t necessarily bad or scary. It’s just a stimulus to react plausibly to things and sell the effect. The original feels an echo of whatever the clone feels, physically or emotionally. Just an extension of the shared consciousness that lets Emily Prime see through the doppelgänger’s eyes Dang this is. A lot like the last post I made here, oops. I swear I draw more than guts
1) a girl i saw several months ago that was wearing what i could only describe as ‘witch fashion’
2) small demons. the smallest demons
The Maid: 1959 i did these at the beginning of last month i think and there’s a lot to explain that was in my head when i did them, but the summary of it all is as such! among a handful of young women from the village in 1959, iedera was the last to outlive her fellow unsuspecting sacrifices to house dimitrescu before the estate went on to be without staff into the next millennia. as such, she was the last direct feeding source for the lady and her daughters and was being made ready to be thrown into the heap with the rest of the maids before her in the dungeons. that is, of course, until alcina’s brother comes to discuss reluctant business on mother miranda’s behest, and struck a deal of his own to take this poor little blood bag off her hands. it does tie in technically with the events of 2020 in which ethan winters’s story takes place (see my molly content here ) and how it plays into heisenberg’s chemistry with molly upon their initial meeting and thereafter! i like this little maid, she was fun to think up and play with! unlike molly who is older and wiser (and quicker to bite back), iedera was reserved and doubly so while working at the castle. she did come out of her shell over time tidying up the upper floors of the factory, but not so much to warrant potential for wanting to return home.
Put together a Shindanmaker to help come up with silly cyberfantasy character ideas.
Atraks has successfully lived in my head, rent-free, for a year.
Needed a Blades character sheet portrait for Eliza (previously known as Rosa. I’ve been dying to rename her for ages, sorry) so I drew several She’s a Lurk. Runaway from a noble family with a bit of a cult problem, but didn’t manage to escape unscathed. She spent about a year in the Deathlands, bouncing between groups of deathlander outlaws and stewing in bitterness and self-pity, until she ended up in Doskvol. Now she’s a knife for hire, as long as you don’t ask too many questions. Bonus: I think she goes by Rosa as an alias, which, with the thorns motif, means she’s also kind of a dweeb
