Ch i : 𝕆𝕟𝕔𝕖 𝕌𝕡𝕠𝕟 𝔸 𝕊𝕖𝕔𝕣𝕖𝕥

A pleasant life on the surface, the sunset looks dark as usual but the setting sunlight fills the sky with attractive scenery. The daily disappearance of the sun below the horizon cause sunlight rays to be distorted to such an extent that geometrically the solar disk is already about one diameter below the horizon when a sunset is observed. Together with a family is more important to make the surrounding area more charming and cheerful. An environment with fresh air and running time according to the timeline actually happen for real. Or does it?

Frisk, a small child in blue and brightest pink stripes was offered an entitlement of considering being called as 'ambassador' due human's fear around monsters. They refused.

Looking down from the frame, a smaller skeleton in blue, black coloured and white striped short is enjoying the sunset view with a smile appeared on his face but he frowned as soon as sudden realisation hit him hard.., worried about something undesirable. We made ourselves on the surface ... but too bad.

These hardworks would go to waste. Seriously, they shouldn't have to. It won't last long, or will it? The smile quickly turned into a forced smile and the light in his eyes began to fade. Leaving a hopeless giant hole in his eyes. Looks like he gave up for life, No, he gave up for everything knowing everything was pointless to succeed. There were nothing to be hoped for, it'll gone, in the same neverending loop. S'not like he spited Frisk for all they had done.

S'not like he hate them too much, S'not like he forgave them completely either. He can't and he can forgive...Give it a 50-50 win because this timeline will RESET. He tried. He tried ... Many times or maybe he's tried countless times without anyone noticing. That may have happened years ago. Now, he's too lazy for anything. Lazy isn't a wise word but that described everything happened, nothing in that world last long.

Human on surface, and monsters live beneath it. Even trying their hard to break the barrier, they'll start over again. This timeline..... What a pity, huh? It will BE RESETED in the near future. Nothing last..nothing last..

Nothing last...pacifist, genocide, pacifist, genocide, pacifist, genocide are the same thing except for the merciful and hearless heart wanting to gain LOVE. It actually aches..the memories of being stab. Blood pouring, slowly dusting and the same interaction of "Papyrus...do you want anything?",

Even knew, He's dead . The smile was still plastered but dead inside, his eyes like holes of darkness, shallow something or something like an Emptiness that no one could escape. Even so, what happens if we disconnect a line? Will that be any different? A straight line that splits in two, may have an impulse to meet consequences ... such as death. Frisk noticed a sudden change of mood when they saw Sans, worried.

Obviously know what was bothering his mind. However, this is somewhat different. They want to change the future and have high hopes of not bringing the monsters back Underground. True, there is no covering up for their guilt for killing all the monsters and it feast away at them to keep harbouring guilt but...they won't give up trying to change the destiny. They felt their sins crawl on their backs ... and continued to grip the edge of San's soft blue jacket that he never seemed to let go of.

Woah, did he ever take a shower? But he doesn't smell, even know no matter how he handles the room environment. Sans is surprised by their movements and understands closely what hand gestures or Signs they make to communicate with fellow monsters. He seems to understand.

They said "Are you okay?" But it looks like Frisk already knows the answer ... "ye, m'fine" replied Sans. That was the only word he always said whenever he wasn't in a good mood. "You're mad at me, aren't you?" They signed. Sans made a shocked face and his smile fell for a while and so did the light in his eyes ... they were dim. But that recovered quickly, he put on a new, less compelling smile as he winked his right eye. The other monsters turned to face the skeleton and the human.

"BROTHER....IS SOMETHING WRONG?" Asked Papyrus, Sans's brother. He turned his head slightly to the right as he questioned his brother. His brother seemed distracted by him and covered his worried face, trying to brighten the mood. "Come on, can't we enjoy the sunset before we mist it?" Sans punned, hoping everyone wouldn't suspect anything. Everyone doesn't consider it as a good response ... they all frown. "What? Did my pun made ya less humerus? " Sans replied back.

"Don't expect us to forget it completely, your puns are intended in order of distracting us..., what's wrong my dear friend? You don't seem to be delighted...." Toriel stood in line. Moments later, they were all greeted quietly. "S-Sans?....", Alphys stuttered. The tiny skeleton didn't move, not even a flinch. His eye sockets was dark...no highlights shown and a blank expression. Obviously, he was a boat out of blue. Frisk, who was still concerned... looked back at him with greater force filling their arms to pick up other side of his blue hoodie, but not until he collapsed.

Hoping this action would bring him back to conscious. Sans, wore a blank expression as he shock but that was intentional...it might be hard for him to explain which could have poised the other's mind to not force him to. A spirit roaming around the fellow monsters and only visible to Frisk...."That comedian sure is a lot of problems. Even after receiving the good ending, he was ungrateful." She mid stopped and sighed. "But I wonder what would happen if we kill him at the start of whoopie cushion thing.... You shall kill him there! RESET Frisk! RESET! Who knows? What would happen at that moment? MAYBE Papyrus would be our BOSS FIGHT!!", Joy was expressed in maniacal happiness, waiting for Frisk to react. The genocidal spirit....the first fallen human...They made a promise to themselves...do not RESET unless they are needed to.

"When we back at the fall, maybe that comedian predicted our next move...He can remember, right? Those conversation we had on genocide route enough to prove how much he knows. We barely tried to hit him in first round.". " That lazy skeleton never bore me with his source of amazement! His fight, His splashing blood and all stuff he done! C'mon Frisk! RESET! I wanna play with him! Don't you feel the same?", As much as she talks Frisk didn't even listen from the start...

"guilt would never leave....sadness greet....falling into spiralling darkness....and darkest memories underground...so they only focusing on their friend...Sans liked things going his way.... However, his tactic backfired as the kid signed "Sans, I'm sorry." And He is not be happy with this. Thing could've swiped away if they didn't bring this further. "What now, kiddo?". Sans was not satisfied until he was suddenly hugged tightly between them ... he stood there motionless, without emotion, and let the whole warmth cover him ...

"Sorry ..." They signed. They felt the urge of tears ... but didn't want to let them escape her eyes. So he decided to turn his head away from their gaze. "Well, you ... you don't have to apologize. Y-you didn't do anything wrong." "Sans?", A soft soothing voice called his name, Papyrus. "Guys, y'see ... I get a lot of emotions filled in the back of my head, I mean ... Look at us! On the surface again, we're going to celebrate this joyful moment, aren't we?", He tried to think, a little. does he know ... he forgot to mention it and that was his first mistake along with the pronunciation of 'again' which kept him awake.

"Again?" Undyne muttered in a loud voice because her voice ... wasn't so loud that everyone could hear her and turned to Sans. They all approached him with confusion plastered on their faces.

"... Sans, I- I think it's time?", Frisk signed again. Sans, startled by Frisk's words made him stumble and land on the ground. They were all able to find out that whatever Frisk meant had something to do with Sans sudden gestures. He seemed a lot disturbed as if he was going to die soon. He rudely shook his head and repeated the word "no". We can tell, he got Tons of problem Stück inside his bonehead. The feeling of being nuisanse to everyone...the feeling of him holding back his friends....this sucks.

He hated it. He hated being a burden. He hated making everyone worry about him. He hated making Papyrus worry he hate everything! Frisk didn't seem happy with the reaction instead they looked more sad and guilty. "We can't hide this longer...I know it's hard..trust me besides...it's my fault, my secret." He slowly look at Frisk unbelievably. "can't...it's pointless, kiddo" Sans rejected. They were greet with a silent until Sans spoke up again but with a darker tone. "no matter how many times you told them,

At this time, everyone froze motionless at his speech somehow Frisk got some determination inside them and grab Sans hood closer to their face. "IM TIRED OF HIDING, IF I KEEP THIS BOTTLED UP, I'LL GET MORE GUILTIER THAN EVER. I ASSURE YOU! I WON'T RESET AND DO THAT AGAIN!!" Frisk finally snapped. "WAIT, WAIT!, WAIT! RESET? BROTHER, WHAT IS THE HUMAN TALKING ABOUT?". Frisk is small-brained but doesn't mean they are stupid enough.

Making Papyrus become curious onto Sans' secrecy is a good move to get things spilled out. With best of luck, they hope it actually work. Everyone surprised as much as Papyrus reacted about the word 'RESET'. "Kid....why are you doing this....?' he slowly mumbled, knowing that they could hear them. "You can't keep dodging forever...you can't always keep me in the dark forsaken things I had done..", at this point, Sans brought his hand up to his forehead feeling headache because of current event.

Surely, he want to teleport but that would backfired him for the second time. Leaving the others in questions is the most bad choice. "Ya see.......let's forget about this". "In this life, there are no such as 'Surface'...that's a good word...I mean.....its kind of rib tickling to know.....unfortunately, he winked both of his eye sockets......you won't taste the prosperous life...."and leaving two dark holes. He is not bringing this longer, it's not his secret actually...that belonged to their rightful owner, Frisk. He took a glance at them.

"What do you mean? Is that another way of saying it's impossible to live on the surface? You've been here before?", Asked the voice of a male goat and golden beard. "That's....you gotta ask Frisk. If they willing to lash out everything, so do I." He had to admit, he wanted to get rid of this troubling problem that he kept swirling in his mind. "STOP AVOIDING, SANS!" Undyne snapped. "UNDYNE, PLEASE DO NOT PUSH MY BROTHER ANY LONGER!!", his younger brother finally raise his voice...its been so long ever since.

"OH, COME ON PAPYRUS! THIS GUY'S HIDING MANY STUFF FROM US! DONT YOU WANNA KNOW?!", "I-......." Papy mid stopped.... "Undyne.............."darker tone, Frisk recognise this voice.....the tone of bad time........"if you ever snapped at my brother like that.........". "....believe me....Welp nevermind......ah yeah, All the nightmares...all the slight remembering....if you think I can remember all of it, then you're wrong. I can't.

I just slightly remembers, getting familiar and basing it off by reading Frisk's expression...The same loop would get familiar. The same evidence...the same route....". Frisk body began to tremble, They want to explain, spilling out all their secret but afraid of being unwanted anymore...Despite that, they realised that Sans is trying to get everyones attention landing on Them so that he could run away from the problem...

We know that he's the laziest monster underground yet his attack doesn't seem to be 'lazy' at all. In term of lazy, he turn everything to Frisk so that he don't have to explain. they became aware of surroundings..."A-are you s-saying that H-Human hates us?", Alphys interrupted, she got all worked up of the topic involving humans but at the same time, she shouldn't have brought that up because as she take a glance at Asgore, frowning..his head looked darker from her angle.

"I...i-im sorry, king Asgore!", She immediately apologized, knowing that he killed 6th human childrens and for his revenge on both of his children's death. "No...it's okay....not that I never done something cruel before....". "JUST EXPLAIN, PUNK!! IM TIRED OF WAITING" Undyne and her full energy efficiency shouted. "I was given a power....I was able to RESET..". "RESET?". "It's like restarting this timeline over, looping..if I die, I can bring myself back at the beginning and avoid all unwanted circumstances.

"This power....lead me to some endings...even....bad ones...." Mid stop, taking a peek at Sans. He just stood there, not moving, no emotion expressed either. Oh wait no,...his bone started ratlling actually. Nervous, pain.......pain?......where did They found this word from?....how did They know that Sans in pain?....."hey......" A voice interrupt..."let's just end this story quick, I don't care anymore...if you wanna RESET, just go on. I don't care." He buried his hand up to his grinning face, they could tell that he's not happy and hiding tears.

"I'm not going to do it. I want to change this future! We can live on this place Forever! Don't you want that?", "Don't I want that? I do!!! The fact, I do many times!! But I gave up long ago!! It's pointless. Nothing changes. Just a loop.....loop......", He began to sob, wiping the tears with his favourite blue sleeve....Somebody held his both of his hand, "I'll assure you...I won't press that button...Please...You don't have to trust me if you don't want to.....but give me a chance to redeem myself.....".

"..............that exactly the same..........words you had repeat last time....... This....e-exactly why I hate promises........but.......fine....................whatever you wished for........" He fell silent. And so, they explaining everything, including two routes....pacifist and genocide.....little did they know? Changing the Timeline can bring at least one big consequence?.....To the good ending? Or the bad ending?
