Zane’s main characteristic is his humanity, I’d argue that the in the show (at least within the first three seasons) Zane’s main thing is that he while he isn’t human he has the empathy of a human, but in the movie Zane’s humanity is completely erased to make ‘HaHa Funny Robot Jokes’ and that’s why Movie!Zane so cursed. He’s just a jarring mischaracterization of what made Zane himself
