With ADHD, a lot of what we do or go through can be misinterpreted - by others but also by ourselves if we get told something often enough.

This is the first part of my series hoping to clear up wrong assumptions and to help you find the words to communicate and share what it looks like from your side.

Keep in mind that this isn't supposed to excuse any and all behavior or diagnose anyone, but more of a communication aid.

um hey if you ever suspect anyone of copying someone, Please always approach the artist you think has been plagiarised Privately first, rather than jumping into accusations. 

lots of ideas and themes can be created independently and don’t inherently mean they were stolen from someone else. look at those US and UK dennis the menace comics being released on the same day, for example. it’s obvious that two authors just had the same thought process of, “I wanna make a comic about a pesky little kid, and “dennis” rhymes with “menace”’.

 if you don’t have all the information you’re just gonna end up potentially hurting people and looking foolish. unless it’s something super obvious like an uncredited repost, recolour/edit, etc. (and again, still try to point those out in a civil manner) you can’t prove any kind of plagiarism.

also related to this, don’t confront people on my behalf. I’m sure stuff like this is well-intentioned but it gets messy fast. if something really Is up, just tell me and I promise I can handle it like a big boy.
