I think I love her but I'm trying to keep it low-key, you know what I'm saying?

Started working on my prequel book, like officially and fully, already happier with the first two paragraphs than anything I've written before

like imagine: Streams of fire and light danced toward his opponent in dazzling displays. But the heat could not touch the dark figure. Steadily it approached, uncaring. All while the lizard mage continued his desperate onslaught of magic. His body grew colder with every cast, his limbs more sluggish, but he had to buy his companions time to escape. He'd gotten them into his mess, and he couldn't let them down. And so, he let out final defiant hiss, and the ground began to shake.

Okay but lizard wizards actually go crazy when you think about it cause like lizards bask in the sun to maintain their temperature and wizards are known to meditate in order to restore their spell slots/focus their wills so you could absolutely combine those two concepts together. Oh, and also most lizards are territorial, and you could absolutely play that off as a young wizard lizard not wanting people wandering into his tower while he conducts his magic and studies the ancient arts. I'm sure you people get me there's just such an odd amount of parallel between the habits of wizards and the mannerisms of lizards... And they even rhyme!

So after few dozen hours of warrior character I wanted to do magic. That's just what happens playing Skyrim. And I couldn't think of a proper RP way of switching to magic, so I made a new guy.

Ahn-Jahwi, or Picks-Up-Things to his old cyrodilic buddies; a miner, adventurer, briefly a prisoner and currently a sticky fingered and very curious mage. Has had a pickaxe in the inventory since level 2 (now 32), looks out for every book in Skyrim, looking forward to learning about mixing drinks. Potions. Whatever.
