Let's talk about the character that has the most annoying shading problems: Heed!!!

Okay, so, first of all, that light from that sunset ain't nearly as intense as it should be. Your first instinct would be to tell me that the sun is hidden by the clouds. In that case, there wouldn't be any of that white light going on behind Heed and Chimera. Since we have no other source of lighting, the sun will have to do.

I don't know why, but Ai loves to use white when it comes to shading/lighting, even though there are colored lights. Like, there actually should be bright orange on these characters and I think it would look gorgeous with it. Examples of lighting with sunsets:

Now, you may be going, "Well, she could be just using a flash from her camera." Here's the thing about flash though:

Flash would cause everything in front of the light to become much brighter, while everything behind the subject and not directly in front would either become less focused or even flat out darken. That isn't the case with Heed's photo. Hell, it doesn't even have the rocks closest to where the camera have an bright lighting on it, so it couldn't be a flash from the camera.

Also, the lighting, of course, is all over the place. The lighting is coming from the sun, so it should be more underneath her. So, there shouldn't be any lighting in front of her, at all, none on the top of her hand, on the top of her head, on the front of her arms, or really much around her legs. All of the lighting she be pretty much should be behind and underneath. In that whole imagine, Chimera seems to be the most correct when it comes to the shading.

Now, I am not an expert at composition, so if anyone wishes to correct my mistakes, that would be nice, honestly.

Yeah, I totally agree with you! Miss heed is annoying and the way she was using her power to the heros and villain, it kinda suspicious to me? I don't know she is hero or not, but all she wants is attention.... It's not that I like her nor hate her but she always get annoying...I don't know if you agree with me or not but that okay!

I don't know.... I mean if DogDay doesn't want to die, then I guess for him to pretend to be submit to Catnap, so he will be avoiding his death. However....if DogDay will stay stubborn and convince him that “god” is bad. I guess he will risk his life and get killed by those little demons (aka little smiling critters). I don't know....

“Hehey!” Two critters jump onto him, scurrying their tiny hands across his twitching underarms. His arms tremble as they try to tug inward.

DogDay holds his laughs in.

“I can see in your face, you like it. Don’t you?” The cat watches from the other side of the cell.

“Pfft-t-this-is nohothing. I can ta-Hahahake-!” The small critters lower slightly, pressing their plush hands onto his ribs, wiggling into every rib gap.

“You know… this can end quickly if you simply agree to my terms. So.. another chance, will you submit to me? Or stay a stubborn little dog?”

DogDay looks up to CatNap, still holding his smile in.

It's been months since I got out from college, but since have few months to go. However, it already Christmas break. This took me days to finishes, either way I want to draw Flug and Felix "hangout" together. 😏
