me, a rational enjoyer of narrative and media: i really love the interplay between adolescence and loss on school spirits, how growing out of your adolescence can feel like a death of sorts but it’s not really death, it’s simply change, something emphasized by the presence of the teenage ghosts forever haunting their high school until they can properly address their trauma and grow in order to crossover, the last change afforded to them.

Here to report that My Lady Jane is just…the best kind of fanfiction that you could make into a TV show.

It’s a shifter AU, arranged marriage, friends-to-lovers, 100K slow burn, canon major character death fix-it fic but with a big budget and a soundtrack and excellent costumes where everyone committed to the bit.

Let’s just give the people what they want. But I think that we always intended for this to be that kind of relationship where you don’t know how it’s going to work out. So I’m trying to write an epic multi chapter original fanfic post-Hogwarts era about my otp rare pair and sometimes I spiral about how much this work means to me and how I so painstakingly want to present it to ao3 like a precious labor of love and cope by staring at my computer screen unmoving for hours lol anybody else?

I believe this is the fic, specifically chapter 55. One of the first Hermione x George fics I ever read, it’s seared into my brain and a core memory/feeling! It’s an oldie but a goodie. This fic circa 2010 is why I’m still a Geormione stan all these years later 🤣❤️

I'm looking for an old Hermione/George fic. I don't remember how much of the story it retells but I know there's a scene where George loses his ear (like in canon) and is feeling bad about it until Hermione tells him he's hot. The next morning George apologizes to Fred for being irritable or sad or something and Fred says he just "needed some 'mione time" or something like that.

Later, George returns the favor (telling her she's hot) later when she's got her Mudblood scar from Bellatrix. Help??
