Before January ends, I’m going to magically and extremely be blessed by the universe.
How to Feel Like an Ethereal Priest/Priestess ♡✨
- Embrace the everyday notion of “πανεμορφη,” or “panemorfi” (the Greek term for “beautiful”), finding the exquisite within all that you possibly can
- Seek out opportunities for ritual in your everyday life, allowing space for more moments of reflection, gratitude, and strengthening
- Search for messages from your dreams - forming a prophetic bond with your own soul and intuition - and write your ideas + visions down in a special notebook
- In Roman Numerals, write your favourite/lucky number on your wrist, to use as a power booster in times of anxiety
- Draw yourself a fancy Epsom Salt bath, purifying your body and elminiating yourself of toxins
- Liken your creativity to a muscle, needing to be exercised in whichever artistic and unique form of expression that may take (poetry, dancing, art, meditation, charitability)
- Keep a special golden candle to burn when you wish to let yourself feel extra-courageous, remembering that the colour gold is associated heavily with feelings of magic and passion. Carve a triangle into the wax, symbolising evenly distributed strength! ~

Botanical, mineral, nature illustrations sets… Seeing how long I can keep going until I run out of inspiration; but considering that rocks are involved, it could add up. This was a bit over one week’s work. Minerals featured in order: Tourmaline, chalcopyrite, idocrase, aquamarine, ametrine and fluorite
Your plants are important! They provide you with companionship, protection, and herbs for your spells and charms. Here are some ways to give back to your plants:
🌱 Talk to them! Many people say that talking to your plants helps them to grow stronger. When you exhale, you breathe carbon dioxide onto them, which they use to create oxygen in turn. 🌱 Mix eggshell powder into their soil 🌱 Bring them little gifts to show them you appreciate them! I like to bring my plants little stones and cool twigs I’ve found 🌱 Spend time with them! Meditate near them, write in your grimoire/book of shadows near them, study near them. I like to eat breakfast in my garden, it’s a good way to start the morning. 🌱 Decorate their space! If you have an outdoor garden, you could add painted rocks and sticks to their space. If you keep your plants indoors, you could put little figurines near them, or paint their pots in pretty colors. 🌱 Name them, if you haven’t already! 🌱 Draw your plants! You could make a page for them in your grimoire if you like, or just do some non-witchy art 🌱 Include them in your craft! Put them in your circles when you cast (especially if they have a correspondence that could be helpful, like protection), use them as inspiration for spells, put your crystals near them to charge in the sunlight, draw sigils on their pots or in the earth you plant them in. There are loads of other ways to include them that I haven’t mentioned, just bond with them! 🌱 Possibly most importantly, thank them for all they do. Plants are protectors of the home, and of you. Thank them for looking after you, thank them for the herbs you take from them, and thank them for being your companions.

Reblog if you’re a cottagecore blog that:
-is anti fascist and anti racist
-is into this to support locally sourced food, better farming practices, etc.
-is NOT into this for some “manifest destiny” bullshit
-is NOT an ecofascist
-supports indigenous land rights and supports paying reparations to bipoc
-supports labor unions
-supports better conditions, pay, and protections for all agricultural workers including undocumented workers
-is LGBTQ friendly
Because cottagecore is a sweet and lovely aesthetic but we cannot be silent about the racism and facism that this community promotes with its “traditional values” crap. I like fresh picked flowers on my table, I like honey lemon tea, I like pictures of baby goats. But if you disagree with the above list then your “cottagecore” blog is trash.
