Hello everyone! Although I've spoken about it on AO3 in the notes of my last Wolfwren story, I still wanted to make an official Tumblr announcement. Starting next week on the 1st of June, and every Sunday this coming summer, I will be posting my own fan-made Star Wars novel!
All of you who have read through my series "The Life of the Wolf, the Wren, and their Cub" have known for a while that I've been working on this. When I started this series last year, I had no idea that I would become so absorbed in this AU, or that so many of you would keep asking for more and more stories with Uschi Wren-Hati.
Here is what I can say for now: The story is set in 34 ABY, just as Leia sends out people to search for her brother Luke. While Uschi and her crew intend to help, they soon find themselves on their own quest to stand in the way of the Force Order, one that forces Uschi to confront her terrible origins...
While I don't want to reveal anymore, I thought I'd leave with a handful of no-context spoilers. I'm excited to hear your guesses and I hope to see you all next Sunday for the first chapter!
A/N: Hello everyone! How are you on this first day of @wolfwrenweek ? Here is my story for the first day, "The Moon" following as many of the prompts as I could fit! It's a Vampire smut so I hope you'll enjoy it! Here's the beginning of the story and if you want to read all of it the link will be at the end!
The dancefloor was packed with people. Despite the loud music blaring from every speaker, Sabine could hear each of their heartbeats, like a base that never dropped. She could taste the air, a combination of sweet alcohol and sweat that whetted her appetite. She’d never come to this club before, but Ezra had convinced her to journey specifically to this part of town to try it out. He’d said the music was good and the alcohol better. She didn’t care about alcohol, and so far, the music had been alright. What interested her more where the girls, and which one would be her next meal.
She had lost sight of Ezra in the crowd. No doubt he was dancing with someone. She ought to mingle too, she thought as she left her stool, leaving an untouched glass of club soda behind. As the new song began, she pressed her way into the crowd.
Some vampires hated crowded places. They said it was like tempting the devil. Sabine thought they just had weak resolve. She loved it. She enjoyed the anonymity of the crowd, pressed between other bodies, in the dark. Between the lights flashing above, the heat of everyone pressed together on the dancefloor, and the pounding of their heartbeats, so close to her, this was the appetizer, the perfect tease before a perfect meal.
Sabine tried to find a woman to dance with. She moved, step by step, around the crowd until she spotted someone that was interested in her. She was almost in the middle of the dancefloor when she felt eyes on her. It sent a shiver down her spine. Only one kind of person could cause such a response from her. She stopped dancing and turned.
She had migrated near the VIP booths, lavish velvet couches set on a raised platform on one side of the club. Now one woman was observing her from the booths. Not just observing her, glaring at her with cold, shining blue eyes. She had shoulder-length platinum hair and her glare was only intensified by black eyeshadow smeared all around her eyes.
“Shit,” Sabine muttered to herself.
There was no time to find Ezra. She would text him later. She had to get out now.
She pushed her way through the crowd and off the dancefloor. She was on the other side of the entrance, but she saw a green sign shining in a corner, indicating an emergency exit. This was an emergency. She ran past the handful of tables on the side and followed the wall into a short corridor. It led to the bathrooms and the emergency exit. She expected it to be locked, but the door opened with ease. She stumbled outside into the summer air. It was barely any cooler than the inside of the club. A blanket of heat had fallen over the city two days ago and nothing could move it since. Sabine brushed the sweat off her face and turned around, shutting the club door with a sigh of relief.
She found herself in an alley. The club’s wall behind her was made up of bricks plastered with band and festival posters. Across was the side of a store, and the bricks had been painted with a thick layer of white. A couple was making out pressed against the white bricks. As soon as they noticed Sabine standing near them, they pulled apart.
“The fuck, dude?” the man groaned at her.
Sabine didn’t even spare them a glance. She looked on either side of the alley. One side led to a bunch of dumpsters. The other shone orange with the light of a nearby streetlight. That was the direction the offended couple took, hand in hand, as they intended to continue their nastiness elsewhere. Sabine decided also to rejoin civilization. She was bound to find a taxi nearby.
“Going somewhere?”

A/N: Hello everyone! I just posted a new Wolfwren fic about Shin and Sabine having a little "friendly" speeder bike race. Here is a little excerpt and if you want to read the rest of the story the link will be at the end!
Shin knocked back her drink and searched the bar for the clock over the shelves of bottles. It wasn’t too late yet; they might just get another drink before going home. Before she could wave at the bartender, Ezra asked:
“How about you guys? What’s going on?”
“Tracking down more former Empire scum, as usual,” Sabine said with a sigh. “We were on Eadu hunting a bunch of Empire scavengers. The base was pretty big. A Speeder bike chase might have happened. Shin crashed hers against a shuttle.”
Shin straightened at the mention of her name, then frowned.
“On purpose,” she added. “To stop them from taking off.”
Sabine finished her glass with a smile.
“Of course, you did.”
That wasn’t the answer Shin had expected.
“You think I don’t know how to drive a Speeder bike?”
“That’s not what I said.”
“I bet I’m even a better driver than you.”

A/N: Hello everyone! How are you doing on this fine fourth day of @wolfwrenweek ? For today I have a pretty long 5+1 that I hope you will all enjoy! Here is the beginning and if you want to read the rest of the story, the link will be at the end!
It was around the time that the dragon spewed out a sharp tongue of ice that Shin knew she had probably made a mistake. The stark white ice dragon was bigger than she had planned, and with the sunlight shining off the fresh powdered snow, she couldn’t quite look at her target. She jumped out of the way of its tail and rolled into the snow with a huff.
The voice of the armorer who had hired her for the dragon scales echoed in her mind. She’d told her it was probably a multiple-person job. Shin had scoffed at that. She was a powerful magic fighter. She carried one of the nine swords of Kyber. One ice dragon was nothing for her. As another blast of ice shattered the air above her head, she was reconsidering.
The dragon’s tail whipped past her once more. Shin dodged the blow then drew her sword. The blade ignited with orange fire. It drew the dragon’s attention right away. It roared into her face. Shin took a fighting stance. She would not die to an ice dragon, and she would not ghost her employer and run away. This dragon was going down.
The dragon’s crocodilian maw snapped at her. She held it back with magic, the sharp, needle-like teeth a few inches from her hand. She struck her sword against the dense, metal-like scales. The blade sparked, and the orange fire left a searing line over the white, but the dragon did not seem to care. It struck its claws at her. Shin rolled out of the way and slashed again. This time, she hit its wing, and tore the thin skin to shreds. The ice dragon roared again and its spiky tail whipped around. Shin tried to stop it, but all she could do was slow it down. It still pushed her to the ground and she stumbled into the snow with a groan.
The dragon loomed over her before she could stand back up. Its maw opened over her, and she saw the white spark of ice building at the back of its throat. She felt its terrible cold already. She could try to shield herself from the blast, but she was so close, she doubted it would do anything.
A crack of thunder distracted the dragon for a split second. A single bullet snapped through the air and hit the dragon in the eye. It reeled back with a terrible roar. Shin was too stunned to move. When she raised herself on her elbows, she spotted a mirage of colors running toward her. Only, when a second bullet snapped through the air and crashed against the dragon’s hard scales, Shin knew it wasn’t a mirage.
“Are you okay?” the voice of a young woman shouted.
Shin didn’t bother answering. She jumped back to her feet, grabbed her sword, and rushed after the dragon once more.
A/N: Hello everyone! Back for day 5 of @agathaallalongweek and part 3 of my witch school AU! Here is the beginning and if you want to read the whole story, the link will be at the end!
Agatha leaned back in her desk chair as the students left her classroom, relieved that the day was over. She thought being a teacher would be easy, but barely a month in and she was running out of things to teach them already. All her spare time was spent on her secret project, so that a few days ago, she’d arrived in class with no idea what to teach the first years. She couldn’t let that happen again if she didn’t want to get fired before she was done transcribing the circle.
She closed her eyes a moment and rubbed her temples. For a blissful moment, she thought all the students had left. Then, a voice resounded from the edge of her desk:
“If you have a headache, I know a good potion to get rid of it. Miss Kale taught it to us in second year.”
Agatha groaned and opened her eyes. Not for the first time, Billy was standing at the edge of her desk. He liked to asked questions, sometimes questions that didn’t even have anything to do with the lecture. His over-eagerness annoyed her.
“What incredibly out of left-field question are you going to ask me today, Billy? Let’s see… You’ve already asked me about banshees, sirens, about enchanted guitars, about cursed records, and about the role of bells in ritual casting in the 17th century.”
“And I appreciate your expertise,” he replied, then glanced around him, as if to check that the room was empty. He leaned a little closer. “But that’s not why I came to talk to you today. I’ve seen you at the old hideout at night and I don’t know what you’re doing there but I’d love to help.”
She sighed and stood up, yanking her coat from the back of the chair.
“Do you think Miss Calderu would like to know that you’ve been spying on another teacher in the woods at night?”
“I’m not spying-” he began, but she shut him down with a look because they both knew he was lying. “You could take me on as your assistant. Teachers do it all the time with seniors.”
“Oh, so you’re planning on taking song magic for your final project?”
“Nobody takes song magic anymore. Ma’am,” he added swiftly when he realized that he had insulted her. “But I can still be useful, if you would just give me a chance.”

A/N: Hey guys! Here’s an extract from my new one-shot, the sequel to Listen to the Fireplace Roar so many of you have asked for! I hope you’ll enjoy it! If you want to read the full story the link is at the end!
When Christina left her office that evening, she wasn't surprised to hear the TV playing in the living room. It had been a while since her house had been silent. Ever since Ruby and Letitia had moved in about a year ago, it'd been difficult to find silence. Not that Christina would complain. She'd grown to like the constant presence of sounds. She imagined this was what a family home was supposed to be like.
Leti was seating on the couch watching some reality TV show Christina wanted to know nothing about. It was almost seven-thirty, which meant Ruby would probably come home soon. Still, just in case, Christina asked:
"Ruby's home yet?"
Leti shrugged, her eyes never leaving the TV.
"I think she had something to pick up on her way back."
Christina nodded. A sudden surge of nervousness filled her. Now was as good a time as any, she thought. She leaned against the armrest of the armchair and crossed her arms.
"Can I talk to you for a second?"
Leti frowned and turned off the sound of the TV before looking over at the blonde.
"Why so serious?" she asked. "You sound like you're about to tell me you're dying or something."
Christina sighed, trying to chase away her anxiety.
"It's not that."
She decided to just throw it out before she changed her mind.
"I'm going to ask Ruby to marry me."
Leti froze for a second, and Christina waited for a reaction with apprehension. Then, Leti gave another vague shrug.
"Why are you telling me?"
"Because you're her sister. And with all the bad blood there was between us, I wanted to make sure you'd be okay with it."
"Yeah, it's fine. As long as I can be a bridesmaid."
Christina didn't expect this reaction. At the very least, she expected Leti to show just a bit more emotions about it. But since she wasn't opposed to it, Christina considered it a victory.
"When are you gonna propose?" Leti asked.
"I don't know yet. I've been thinking about it for months but every time I keep delaying it."
"What are you scared of? There's seriously no way she's gonna say no."
"I just want it to be perfect."
Leti rolled her eyes.
"At this rate, you'll both be old ladies before you propose."
"What do you mean, old?" Christina asked with a frown.
"You know, forty."
The front door opened and Christina stood up, brushing off Leti's last comment. She walked to the entrance, where Ruby was closing the door and taking her coat off.
"Hey," Christina said before approaching.
They kissed and Ruby smiled.
"Hey, sorry I'm late. The subway was packed like Hell."

And the moment you've been waiting for, here are the prompts for the week!
Taking place from the 18th-25th of May, we're so excited to see what you all come up with ✨️
A/N: Hey everyone! I just posted a new one-shot, this one as you can see is rated E ;) Here is the beginning of the story, but if you want to read the whole thing, the link is at the end!
Shin woke up to the sound of delicate scratching. She smiled and turned in bed, away from the morning light coming in through the window. Lothal mornings were always blinding. She had to blink a few times until her eyes stopped watering. She rubbed them, stretched, feeling the blanket falling away from her, then finally opened her eyes. Just as she had predicted, Sabine was seated at the edge of the bed with her leather-bound notebook on her lap, and a sharp piece of graphite in her hand.
“Did you have to turn?” she asked Shin once she had opened her eyes.
Shin didn’t reply right away. First, she sat up and grabbed the back of Sabine’s head, kissing her. When they parted, Shin glanced at the notebook. Sabine had been drawing her naked back with the sheets drawn up to her waist. Shin lay back down against the pillow.
“You know I love annoying you.”
Sabine rolled her eyes. As if to prove Shin wrong, she picked up the graphite again and began another sketch of her. Shin reclined back down, staring at Sabine.
“I didn’t expect you would be drawing me first thing in the morning.”
Sabine had sketched her before in that very special notebook. It was a gift from Mon Mothma for service rendered to the Galaxy. It was near impossible to find that much paper anymore, and for a long time, Sabine had preserved the gift, using it sparingly. For the past few weeks, however, she had been filling every page with drawings of Shin.
“I was just looking at you and the urge came over me. Can you blame me?”
“I give you the uncontrollable urge to draw?”
Sabine chuckled.
“It’s almost like I find you beautiful or something.”

A/N: Hello everyone! I just posted the sequel to last week's one-shot, "Casual" that everyone was asking about! Here is the begining and if you'd like to read the rest, you will find the link at the end.
“You have an appointment at 10:30 tomorrow, so don’t be late.”
Sabine frowned. She tugged the phone against her ear using her shoulder then flipped through her schedule.
“Er… no, I have a flight at 9.”
“I reassigned it to someone else.”
Sabine’s frown only deepened. Shin had promised her that she would not use her position to mess with Sabine’s, even if it meant they couldn’t see each other all the time when Sabine was flying far away.
“Why?”
“You told me you had ideas you wanted to share with my father. So, I got you an appointment with him.”
Sabine’s eyes grew wide. While she had a few suggestions, at best, she didn’t think they were worth an appointment with her boss.
“Are you serious?”
“Why wouldn’t I be?”
A pause. Then, Shin replied, with a slight confusion:
“You do have ideas, right?”
“I mean, yeah, a few.”
Shin sighed.
“Doesn’t really matter anyway.”
“What does that mean?”
“It’s… well, he saw us at Bounty last week and he wanted to meet you. I told him you had some ideas to share but I’m sure it’s less about that and more about meeting you.”
Sabine pursed her lips. They had been dating for three months now, and while everything was going great, she hadn’t expected to meet Shin’s father – her boss – so soon.
“Is it going to be a problem?”
“No, no… I guess he’s just curious.”
