Wolfwren headcanon that I don't know how to turn into a fanfiction:
Shin and Sabine are playing sabacc. Every round they lose, they have to take off a piece of clothing (like strip poker basically). First one naked loses.
Sabine thought she was going to win if she wore her armor.
Shin spent her entire childhood and teenage years around mercenaries, pilots, smugglers and the like. She is a beast at sabacc.
By the time Sabine is naked with only her helmet on, she finally admits defeat.
if you ever feel awkward leaving a long ao3 comment getting no reply remember that at this point receiving any feedback at all will leave most authors too stunned to speak
I'm in the middle of writing a book but Netflix has forced my hand, so who's ready for an Avatrice Priory of the Orange Tree AU fanfic?
Unfortunately the final chapter of I Can Wait for You at the Bottom will be delayed because AO3 is down for maintenance and I will be in class once the website is up and running again. I will do my best to post it before 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time but otherwise it will have to wait until tonight... Sorry guys đ
A/N: Hello everyone! I just posted the first chapter of my bew multi-chapter story. It's a cooking AU. Here is an extract and if you want to read the whole chapter, the link will be at the end!
âHello?â a voice came from the front.
Sabine brushed her mouth with her hands, then her hands on her jeans. She left her sandwich aside and picked up her notebook. She didnât know what to expect when she stepped out of the kitchen. Certainly not a woman her age, with shoulder-length hair. The bottom was dyed platinum blond but she hadnât bothered dying them again, allowing her natural dark brown to take over. Her green-blue eyes looked over Sabine as she walked around the counter and came up to her to shake her hand.
âYou must be Shin Hati. Iâm Sabine Wren.â
Shinâs handshake was firm.
âHow long has this bar been in your family?â Shin asked.
âOh, just⌠my parents started it and Iâm hoping to continue it.â
Sabine pursed her lips. Perhaps opening with how close to ruin this place was wasnât the right way to begin the interview. She motioned for the nearest table.
âPlease, sit.â
They sat opposite each other and Sabine flipped through her notebook until she found the right page. She had written down a few questions and what little information she thought Shin would need.
âI was really surprised when I saw your email. I mean, youâre like an actual cook.â
Shin frowned.
âArenât you looking for a cook?â
âYeah, but I mean, I thought I would get applications from fast food people, not Calodan. Why the change of career?â
Shin seemed to chew her words before she spoke them, a small wrinkle between her eyebrows as she focused.
âThe way I see it, it isnât a change of career. I would still be cooking, right?â
âOh yeah, absolutely. Iâm looking for someone to replace my friend as soon as possible. Iâm not firing him. He isnât quitting either. His help was always temporary and he got the job he wanted, soâŚâ
Sabine trailed off. She really wanted Shin to take the position. Wren Stronghold had a reputation for being a good bar, but outside of regulars these days, they didnât get a lot of customers. She figured if anything could turn that around, it was good food.
A/N: Hello everyone! I just posted the prologue of my new multichapter fanfiction. It's an AU in which Sabine's parents died during the Siege of Mandalore so she was trained by Bo-Katan. Here is the begining and if you want to read more the link will be at the end! First chapter comes out tomorrow :)
The Gauntlet stumbled on the frozen landing pad of the Wren stronghold, jarring Bo-Katan out of her thoughts. She had flown here in a daze, her thoughts not quite in place. They had saved Mandalore, but at what cost? She cut the shipâs engine and stood up. Here was the cost, two silver and gold helmets at the back of her ship. She picked both up, feeling their weight straining her shoulders.
She opened the ramp and let the frigid air of Krownest wrap around her. She had not felt warmth in months, it was only fair that she didnât try to fight this cold either. She walked down. Clan Wren members stood on the landing pad, waiting for her, unbothered by the cold.
âTake me to her,â she ordered, though her voice didnât sound as strong as sheâd wished.
With a nod, the silver and gold Mandalorian took her into the stronghold. They navigated dark staircases and heated, narrow corridors, to the throne room. The door opened, letting Bo inside. She was clutching both helmets hard, her knuckled white in her gloves. She walked around the throne, under the gaze of a woman so alike Ursa, she might have thought her ghost had returned to haunt the stronghold. Her sister, Ylva, kept an eagle-like gaze on Bo-Katan as she walked around the throne and stopped at the bottom of the stairs. There, Bo saw she wasnât alone. A little girl sat on her lap, no older than two. Her big, inquisitive eyes looked at Bo without the aggression her aunt was giving her. She had short dark brown hair and the puffy cheeks of an infant, still.
âBo-Katan Kryze,â Ylvaâs voice echoed in the throne room, bringing Boâs attention back to her. âI heard of your victory on Mandalore.â
âA victory for Mandalore is not my victory. I wished more than anything that no one had had to die for it.â
âNot as much as I wish it. Why are you here?â
âIâve come to pay my respect to Clan Wren, who suffered a heavy loss. Heavier than most. These belong to your clan.â
She presented both helmets to the new Countess. They had served their owners well, till the end. The visor on Aldrichâs was broken. The rangefinder on Ursaâs had been snapped off. It would have to be fixed before the helmet came to be used again.
Ylva turned to the little girl and whispered to her:
âSabine, do you want to get your parentsâ helmets?â

A/N: Hello everyone! I have a short fluffy one-shot for you today, before the marathon that Wolfwren week is going to be! Here is the beginning and if you want to read more the link will be at the end!
As Shin stepped into the bathroom, Sabine was already under the shower, one arm out as she felt the lukewarm water heating up. Shin was feeling out of sorts. They rarely showered together. It might seem strange. Their relation was so physical, but for some reason, they almost never shared a shower. When Sabine had asked her if she wanted to shower, Shin had thought for a second that it was a poorly veiled attempt at seducing her. But Sabine hadnât seemed like she had an ulterior motif.
Shin was still pondering the situation as she undressed, her back to the shower. She couldnât place that sudden nervous tension beneath her ribs. They had been dating for a while, she had seen Sabine naked plenty of time, and vice versa. There was something else that unsettled her. Still, she tried to ignore it. The shower was steaming now, and the bathroom was fogging up.
Once undressed, she opened the shower door and slid inside. It was a tight fit. Shin kept her arms wrapped around her chest. It would be impossible to move without knocking into Sabine, or the shower door, or the tray with all the bottles in the corner. She couldnât even stand under the showerhead properly, as half of the water cascaded over her waist. Shin was about to say that it had been a bad idea, that the shower was too cramp, and she would wait until Sabine was done to wash herself. Then, Sabine turned around.
âHi, there.â
She smiled at her that bright smile, like a crescent moon in the night sky. Shin remained rooted on the spot. If Sabine wanted to take a cramp shower, she would cooperate.
Sabine, ever perceptive, noticed the line of tension over Shinâs shoulders. She placed her hands on her arms. Shin felt the pads of her fingers press softly over the little scars there.
âAre you okay?â
âJust... cold,â Shin lied.
A/N: Hello everyone! I thought one Caitvi story would be enough to get them out of me but apparently, it wasn't. I might have to write more every so often. Anyway, this new one is a canon divergent story where Cait and Vi have to work together at a charity gala. Here is the beginning and if you want to read the whole story, the link will be at the end!
Caitlyn Kiramman had no idea what to expect when she returned to work after her mandated recovery period. She could imagine her mother had negotiate with the chief to have her chained to a desk for the next ten years. The thought made her nauseous and she was ready to plead her case when she pushed through the stationâs doors that morning.
Walking past the reception desk where she gave a nod to the officers as a good morning, she stepped into the large office room, where desks sat neatly in rows. All the enforcers already present stopped what they were doing, whether it was chatting or pouring themselves a mug of coffee, to stare at her. The strap of Caitâs eyepatch seemed to constrict around her skull and her hand twitched as she fought the urge to touch it. She kept her head high and traversed the room to the staircase. Injury or not, she had been cleared for duty.
The first floor was the opposite of the ground floor, a narrow corridor with closed off rooms. Some were interrogation rooms, others small conference rooms. The chiefâs office was at the end. As Cait approached, she heard loud voices coming from within. The door had a frosted glass window, and she could see the shape of someone pacing within. She paused in front of the chiefâs secretary, who was wrapping a handful of letters into pneumotube capsules.
âThe chief asked to see you as soon as you come in,â he said.
Caitlyn frowned. Whoever was inside was still ranting, a woman by the sound of her voice, though Cait didnât recognize who.
âI donât want to interrupt,â she replied.
The secretary shook his head.
âTheyâre waiting for you.â
Caitâs confusion only deepened. She hesitated for another second, then knocked at the door. The voice inside fell silent, and chief Grayson said:
âCome in.â
Caitlyn pushed the office door open and stepped inside. Grayson sat behind her desk, looking as unreadable as usual. The woman who had been talking wasnât dressed like an enforcer, but wore a red jacket, standing near the chiefâs desk as if she had been pacing. Cait thought she looked familiar but she couldnât remember seeing her, and she would have remembered seeing her, as her bright pink hair looked like an explosion at the front that descended to her shoulder blades at the back, the left side shaved. Her powder blue eyes had snapped from Grayson to Caitlyn the moment she had entered, and the way her eyebrows furrowed told Cait that she was displeased. A faint tattoo stood out against the freckles on her cheek and a much bigger one was visible on her neck and disappeared beneath her jacket.
Both Grayson and the pink-haired woman looked at her expectantly, so Cait shut the door behind her, squared her shoulders and said:
âYou wanted to see me, chief?â
The other enforcer exploded:
âKiramman? Thatâs your genius idea?â

I don't usually post about what I'm working on here, but this one was particularly amusing, and I have to share it in its full glory.
Context: I'm writing a heavy make out session between Ruby and Christina. And it went like this:
1. It's winter so I give Christina a turtleneck.
2. After describing Ruby kissing Christina, she goes on to kissing her neck for about 150 words.
3. Christina finally takes off her turtleneck.
4. My brain finally catches on to the situation of the disappearing turtleneck... To reworking this sequence I go!
Bonus: I then describe this to my mom and she goes: "it can still work if they really try, where there's a will there's a way" XD
I write. You read. We're all happy :) | AO3 : https://archiveofourown.org/users/WhiteravenGreywolf
