oc intro

week has started off rough cause I got bit by a dog and my leg now hurts and has a nasty bruise 💔 so why not chat about some of my wof ocs. Fair warning there will be alot of older art 💀 prepare

princess jojoba, sandwing, she/her

Jojoba I'd one of many siblings and in no way near the throne, thus she is carefree. She's also mama's favorite and they spend time together often. when not with her mother she is off watching races across the dunes and trading within markets. While Jojoba is outgoing and joyful she is haunted by the fact one of her sisters will kill their mother for the throne. She doesn't want to loose her mother and she knows she'll never very whoever does it the same.

art status: oldish ref needs redone

Forestfire, skywing, he/him

Forestfire is a rather large firescales skywing. When he was born rumors and fear spread quickly. His parents paid an animus to make a rope, unable to be burned or broken, and tied it around their sons jaws to keep him from using his fire. They thought if he never used fire that the internal flame would just burn out and he'd become "normal". The rope did the opposite causing his flames to burn stronger and break through his scales to find some relief. The poor boy was then banished into the mountain and locked up for good. Forestfire now waits within the mountain growing angrier by the day waiting for a group of pseudo prophecy dragonets to stumble their way in and release him.

Art status: old ref, needs redo and will probably be removing the front horn it's a bit too hivewing

Fossil, mudwing, he/him

Fossil is a lost mudwing trying to find his family. He doesn't remember them but just has that gut feeling something is wrong. He is well liked within the mudwing villages and he drifts from troop to troop, feeling loved but not exactly fitting in

Art status: needs drawn ref

Wolfsbane, leafwing, he/him

A hired hand, will do anything for money kinda guy. He looks pretty intimidating so he hasn't really had to get violent on many of his jobs. Thinking of sticking this guy into my other mind au story

Art status: old-ish art, would like to give new ref but doesn't not need one immediately

Queen Sonne and Queen sunset, skywing and silkwing, both she/her

Two queens I made for an rp a long time ago that sadly didn't work out. They do have full refs but they are on bases rn and need redone.

Queen sonne of the skywings is an older more serious queen, she is known for being harsh and no nonsense.

Queen sunset of the silkwings is a very young queen. She was her mothers only daughter and her mother sadly passed early. Sunset is under constant pressure from a group of nobles each trying to dictate laws to their own interest. Sunset is currently trying to find her voice and looks up to queen Sonne a lot.

So there's a handful of my own ocs ❤️ some need to to be reworked and refs re drawn but I still love them

Your so real for that though cause I actually googled "wof parents" and went down a few lists to try and find some to draw for this. Half of them were not good parents 💀 and like a bunch of the ok ones were like "unnamed mom" so I ended up just doing random designs

Omg, Thalassa and Pyr are so cute! I'd love to see more of them!! What pokemon are in Pyr's team?

Pyr mainly has small fire pokemon like litten and tepig, but his heaviest hitter which keeps him as the gym leader is his shiny charizard spitfire. His parents gifted him spitfire's egg as a kid so this is his childhood pokemon. Pyr's home is smaller so thats mainly why he stays to small pokemon, finding space to be cramped enough with big ol spitfire.

His pokemons names often come from how he met them. Barbecue was named such because Pyr caught the litten stealing food from off the grill, soot fell through the chimney getting covered in it, and pepper being found in the garden. Others though like magma and flint are just fire based names he felt fit.

Other things about pyr

annoys Thalassa greatly with his choice in clothes but she wont deny that sometimes he can pull them off

Loves summer, favorite season

Loves the beach as well which Thalassa can agree with

Pretty good cook

Not one pair of plain white socks they are always interesting or warm toned

His litten is often the pokemon following him around

unlike Thalassa, he has very few non fire type pokemon. He knows how to care for fire types and that pretty much it lol

Giving this a bump! looking for more dragons to doodle, I know i still have some in my asks I just gotta go back and take a peak

(This was definitely not made because I'm wanting to do something the fight the whismy crushing assignments of my designs tools class where I have to make boring logos in Adobe, a product in which I'm paying $21 a month for that I really don't want 💀)

so im deciding to link my spiderspring gal to my other oc squid. bonus squid sphynx and Spider sphynx cat doodle

So like to make squids long and extensive lore short, average joe scientist finds work with a dude named powers. Powers is super jealous of oscorps success and pretty much anyone who gets front page news which includes spiderman the plethora of villains. Dude decides he wants to make his new and improved villains. He would usually just get some hired hand to trick and turn into his own versions but he kinda ran out toward the end. Which left squid, the faithful scientist whos loyalty was beginning to waver as she contimplated more of the ethics of these "new villains"

Powers had her make the arms then backstabbed her and attached them himself. Being a bit dumb he only managed to get two on, breaking the other two. He dubbed her squid after the resemblence to the giant squids two larger arms. to squids dismay the nickname stuck.

Squid then set out revenge cause like what the hell man? girl works there for YEARS and this is the thanks she gets? In some versions of her story I have her team up with the other experiments, who all wish the same for powers. Some other story versions also involve kingpin as I feel powers would go to man begging for money 💀

Small detour from my usual wof content. Made this for a playlistober prompt I never cared about you by the mixed matches. Amazing song.

Also recently got yellowfangs wish cause my local bookstore does have wof arc 2 for me to read at work. so library is next place I'm looking (i think they're back open. I'm in a smaller town so places like the library will close randomly lol)

But it makes me think of my cat ocs again
