Let’s Be Cops was just another stupid, flat comedy movie.

I guess that this is the type of movie that has to be your type of comedy in order for it to be funny. Personally, I don’t like the crass, inappropriate humor that is just plain stupid. That is the only type of comedy that was in this movie, and it was a bit disappointing.

I did like the general idea, of two guys pretending to be cops and getting into a lot more trouble than they anticipated. I liked how the characters were developed, and how their lives rounded out in the end. The ending was my favorite part of the whole movie because it showed some character growth, and showed that what the characters experienced had a purpose.

Yes, it was stupid. But it wasn’t the worst movie I’ve ever seen. The acting was good, and the storyline was unique and engaging. Most everyone in the theatre I was in was laughing the entire way through the movie, so that’s a good sign, right?

If you are looking for just a silly movie that may make you laugh because of its sheer stupidity, then I recommend this movie for you. I give Let’s Be Cops 3 out of 5 stars because it wasn’t awful, and a certain type of person might absolutely love this movie. I just wasn’t that person, sadly, but the film still has some merit.
