Why are people getting mad??? The therapy video with Earth about Sun swapping over to drinking more tea wasn’t obvious enough that they NEEDED to step away from the narrative 'Sun is an Alcoholic/S*icidal' that fans are pushing. OF COURSE they would need to make something DIRECT!

Me saying this ISN'T ignoring the fact that some topics do get WAY too deep in the show... but fans take it deeper. If a good chunk of their audience is kids, that's one thing they need to crowd control on SUPER quick anyway. It's not particularly healthy to keep pushing that narrative to an impressionable audience. Using myself as an example, growing up where multiple stages of my life I had to deal with s*icide (family, friends, my attempts, etc) at earlier ages into adulthood fucked with my mental health so bad... But now imagine your favorite character on a (debatably) kid/teen show OFFS THEMSELVES??? You know how many people that would MESS WITH???

Don't get offened. It's not a personal attack. I get 'twists' do happen in the show all the time. But that kind of damage to the fandom and TSBS as a whole would irreparable and would be even more toxic than what it is now. Please think logically from a Show that wants viewers and knows all kinds of eyes are watching; not only you and your headcanons. :(

physical/sexual abuse = trauma

trauma ≠ physical/sexual abuse

in fact, most systems around the world were developed because of these types of abuse, but indirectly people often end up invalidating other systems that have suffered other types of trauma by portraying it only as the physical or sexual ones.

here’s the meaning of trauma:

parents fighting each other every single day can be traumatic for a child.

humiliation, bullying, social exclusion and/or prejudice can be traumatic for a child.

religious issues (occurs when an individual struggles with leaving a religion or a set of beliefs that has led to their indoctrination. it often involves the trauma of breaking away from a controlling environment, lifestyle, or religious figure. font) can be traumatic for a child (ex.: a child forced by their parents to believe only in a certain religion and facing punishment if they question its beliefs or the parents’ attitude).

daily verbal abuse/emotional instability from parents can be traumatic for a child (yelling, insults).

and other types of intense, prolongated trauma!

any trauma is valid.

I find the fandom so silly sometimes. A lot of things people complain about are just so funny to me. For example, people HATED the BM interview episode because he was bullied on it. And yet those same people wished such cruelties upon him when he broke Lunars arm.

Also, like, yeah??? Bloodmoon has hurt thousands and even admitted that himself. So why are we wanting to baby him? He's a serial killer flat out. He's not a misunderstood owo boy. Not to mention that he is a fictional character. Please, for the love of god, stop sending hate to the writers.

So pardon me when I find it amusing how people say they hate Monty because he's cruel, but them say "noo bloody didn't deserve those mean words." Like yeah, Monty is a prick. That's his character! He even admitted that multiple times in the show! He's said many times that he is not a good person. Just because someone is a main character doesn't mean we have to root for them. Think bojack horsman, for example.

Another thing; people will complain how rude Monty is and how we shouldn't like him for that. But when Eclipse does the same thing, it's okay?

Like I'm genuinely curious about the thought process here.
