So, last night I re-watched Finding Omi and you know there's so much talk in the Fandom about Chase Young and Omi's mentor-protege relationship, and I get it, it's unique and interesting, even charming in a way.
But I find it interesting that Chase was willing to lose everything, including Omi's loyalty for the chance of adding Kimiko, Raimundo and Clay to his jungle cats army. I mean, Omi is obviously his favorite but he also sees potential in the other monks.
During his first episode, Chase wanted to see them all in action before ultimately choosing Omi for his fighting skills.
And in "The Evil Within" he knew Clay by name even if they never really interacted before. It seemed to me that he respected him in a way he clearly didn't respect Jack.
Then I started to wonder what if the monks lost the showdown and joined cat Omi.
Chase could put Raimundo in charge of those weird pterodactyl things, like some sort of airforce. You know, since Raimundo can fly using his wind powers.
He would force Kimiko to burn entire villages and cities to the ground. Or take advantage of her quick temper until she does it on her own.
Have Wuya teach Clay how to create his own army of rock monsters.
It's like a weird Heylin found family AU, featuring the monks, Chase, Wuya and probably Jack since no one can get rid of him.
What do you think Dojo did after Dashi's passing? With the whole original trio gone and the Shen Gong Wu all presumably hidden and dormant, did Dojo just take up permanent residence at the temple he's still at today and spend a few centuries mourning alone there? Or did Dojo go stay with the Northern Cho-Cho he said he descends from for a while?
I like to think Dojo stayed at the temple to watch over Dashi’s students, the first or one of the first generations of Dragons in training. Even though there were no Shen Gong Wu for them to retrieve, he probably had to fly them from place to place to fight the forces of evil, save villages, and stuff like that. He also had to guard the Ancient Scroll of the Shen Gong Wu as stated in the first episode.
But he must have tracked down his dragon relatives and visited them at some point. I mean fifteen thousand years is a long time. However, his closest family is the Xiaolin Monks and his home is the temple. The saddest part is imagining how many generations of Xiaolin Dragons he had watched grow only to have to say goodbye.
Okay but why does this actually work so well?

So the topic of a Beauty and the Beast AU came up…
Nya, after hearing about Lloyd's duel with Zeatrix: What do you mean she sliced you?!
Lloyd: Like a birthday cake.
Nya: Don't try to sugarcoat this! I can't believe it! I leave for two days and this happens.
Lloyd: She said she was sorry.
Nya: I think I'm about to commit regicide.
Lloyd: That's what you said after Harumi betrayed us and tried to kill me. I had to look it up.
Nya: Well, this time I mean it!
One of the details I really liked in your story is how you mentioned that Wuya got that bright red shade of her hair with a spell! What did Wuya's hair used to look like?
Dark brown, straight and a little messy
You know what sucks? The fact that because of the second degree I have no chance of getting a job, so I don't earn money and I don't have a bank account, so I can't donate anything to fundraisers (apart from how PLN is a terribly weak currency…)
Now that I have your attention:
So close...
Nya: Okay, you're driving and Lloyd and Jay walk into the road. What do you hit?
Kai: Oh, definitely Jay. I could never hurt Lloyd.
Nya: The brakes, Kai! You hit the brakes!
Sun Wukong: *Kicks the door down looking panicked*
Pigsy: What did you do?
Sun Wukong: Nobody died.
Pigsy: WHAT KIND OF ANSWER IS THAT?!
