Yes, Finally Someone Said It! Listen Guys, I'm All In For Representation And All, But I Think People

Nya from Ninjago is not a ninja. She has never been a ninja, and should never become a ninja. Nothing against ninjas, but she has been a samurai for 10+ years. We all grew up with Nya and why would we let them change her for absolutely zero reason? The new writer should just create a new character that is a ninja, not rewrite one of the best lego characters in history. Sign this petition if you agree Nya should stay a samurai. Once we reach a good amount of people who have signed I will not contact the new writer on instagram because that would be stupid. He should ignore us forever, but if he happens to see this I hope he has a good laugh.

Look, I know they are trying to compensate for the lack of female representation in Master of Spinjitzu, but you gotta appreciate Dragons Rising giving us so many new cool, diverse female characters.

Dashi: Guan, we've been over this. You can't just punch a civilian!

Guan: But he called Chase's hair girly! I had to defend his honor!

Dashi: What? Guan, you call Chase's hair girly at least twice before breakfast.

Guan: That doesn't count! I'm his friend, he doesn't care what I say.

Dashi: Chase doesn't care what anyone says!

Guan: Well, I do!

Chase: Guys, look, I bought a new comb.

Guan: Tsk, you're such a girl.

Chase: Okay. Dashi, I was thinking you could turn it into a Shen Gong Wu!

Guan: You want to weaponize a hair accessory?

Chase: Why not?

I've always had this headcanon for him. Glad I'm not alone in this!

I remember there was this moment in the show:

Wuya, flirtatious: Why, if I were 500 years younger... And had a body.

Chase, knowing full well Wuya was quite attractive in her human form: Ugh...

Then I imagined a small prompt from his past with Guan, something to do with a ritual sacrifice:

Guan, pointing a dagger toward himself: You need virgin blood, I'll do it! I'm a monk, it doesn't get more virgin than this!

Chase: Yes. It. Does. Now give me that!

Gotta love their friendship though 😂

A fun part of my headcanoning Chase Young as ace is picturing him just going about his business when he's a young mortal man assuming that people are Joking when they talk about that sort of thing or when he hears Dashi and Guan making dirty jokes and just shrugs it off as them being weird talking about stuff that no one actually feels like, and then its not til he's like 200+ years old when he's just suddenly like "wait are people Not joking do people actually feel like that???"

If Grandmaster Dashi could see the current state of things, his old teammates Chase and Guan and Dojo, and the new dragons-in-training who inherited their duties, and he could say one thing about it, what do you think he'd say? What would his emotions be?

Oh, he'd probably be very proud of the dragons-in-training for already accomplishing so much in their short time, even if they screw things up sometimes. I think he would see a little bit of himself in each of them, especially in Raimundo and his quest to be a good leader while still getting at least ten hours of sleep. After all, you can't think straight if you're not well rested, can you? And he would surely like Clay's simplicity and modesty. After all, Dashi never wanted to be famous and used to keep a low profile and hang out with his piggie friends.

And Kimiko can be very creative with her tech. I imagine if he had been born in our era (or the early 2000s like in the show) Dashi would have been the same. He would totally capture Wuya in a Tamagotchi if he could and feed her things she doesn't like. I don't think Dashi has that much in common with Omi personality-wise, except maybe how they were raised at the Xiaolin temple, but canonically Dashi is really fond of the kid and I'm sure he'd smile at each of his achievements no matter how small or how big.

Out of all of them, I think he would be most proud of Dojo for taking care of the kids and carrying on his legacy. Chase's fate would sadden him, but he would still strive to see pieces of the old Chase in him. And he would tell Guan to take it easy, take a chill pill and try to live in the present for him.

Dashi would also be relieved that the kids stuck together even when their journey got rough. Like when Raimundo turned against them but came back in the end. And they freed Omi from Chase's spell whereas Dashi failed to reverse the effects of Hannibal's soup that turned Chase into a beast. I think it would bring him comfort knowing that the new dragons in training succeeded where he and his friends failed, that even though he and his friends fell apart, there's still hope for the future, and that his Shen Gong Wus are in good hands.
