Mutant Mayhem is coming out next month! This is the PERFECT opportunity to bring in more Rise fans! Mutant Mayhem will do well, I’m sure. It’s got the backing of several celebrities behind it. And I hope that, those that are looking forward to the film, enjoy it.

BUT CONSIDER! Mutant Mayhem may as well just bring in a WHOLE bunch of new, YOUNG FANS. They may be HUNGRY for more TMNT content. They may just hop on to Netflix and search for more TMNT content. What better way to promote Rise of the TMNT, then to keep it trending on Netflix, and to keep making art for it? Eh? Eeeeh?

Just imagine a whole bunch of new TMNT fans coming in, and discovering Rise, and it’s history? Maybe we can get more voices to prove that, when this show is available for people that want to see it, people want more of it!

I don’t see why we can’t have both? We had both Tom Holland AND Across the Spider Verse. We had both 2012 AND The Bay movies. We can support both Mutant Mayhem AND support ROTTMNT!

SO! Stream the Rise Movie and Show! As much as you can! This month and NEXT MONTH! Make Rise Art! Recommend the show to NEW TMNT FANS! And if you’re going to see Mutant Mayhem, have fun!

Rise deserved to be loved on the same level as shows like Steven Universe and Avatar the Last Airbender!

Let’s show Nickelodeon the HUGE mistake they made when they gave up on this show! It’s only over if the fans give up. It’s always impossible until it’s done! The power of fandom is saving Elemental from being a flop RIGHT NOW! We can do it too!

After I learned this, I thought of a good (in my opinion) trans analogy.

Imagine that everyone is a puzzle. Being trans is like having half or more of your pieces replaced with the wrong puzzle. You can realize that something is wrong, but whenever you mention it to someone, they tell you that it can't be wrong because those were the pieces that were in the box, and how could the manufacturer be wrong. You try to ignore it, but it doesn't fix the fact that something is wrong. Different. Broken.

Then, you might see something online or meet someone that went through the same thing, and you realize that you aren't alone. You finally have the words to describe yourself, and you feel more like yourself than ever as you start finding the pieces that go with your puzzle. You'll find a new name and figure out which pronouns (if any) fit you. You might start looking up information for gender affirming care, or maybe you won't. You will slowly come out to friends and family and start socially (and medically) transitioning. Each time you do this, you find another piece of that puzzle and slowly become the person you were always suppost to be.
