I agree, youâre correct in my opinion, itâs nice having someone to talk to about this stuff.^^ And yess itâs not the fact they donât like him but the fact they make up these fake ideas in their heads and choose to argue about it by calling others wrong and laughing at them thinking theyâre 100% right.
Hi I hope youâre having a good day and Iâm really exited for spoiler nightđđŒ, but I just felt like talking to someone about this because it made me a little frustratedđ€ but itâs all good nowđ. Ok So there was this Bakugou birthday post on YouTube and I scroll through the comments so I can get a good laugh and have some Bakugou appreciation feels then offfff course thereâs always the one comment like this. So this guy basically says Bakugouâs IrrelevantïżŒ right now which is understandable since heâs not really the focus right now but then I scroll through the comments and apparently he thinks he not RelevantïżŒ at alll and that the story doesnât even need him and that he barely had any roles in the story or roles that were unnecessary. There was one person trying to state their opinion kindly with why they disagree with that, but L is just like nope youâre wrong instead of respecting the different opinion he just laughs at them and says what he thinks is right. It isnât until the end that they say thatâs fair since the other person had to bring up respect first.
I crossed out theyâre username for privacy but they donât even post videos anyway but I didnât want them to see this one day and be like đđ€Ł .Any-who this is itđđŒ
I feel like Bakugou antis ways of thinking is them trying to justify that Bakugou isnât important to the story but that heâs only in there because Horikoshi likes him. We all know he is his favorite, but it doesnât change the fact that Bakugou is still an important character even if he wasnât his favorite. The line that bothers me the most is âIf he wasnât in the story nothing important would have changed.â Yeah okayyyy you keep telling yourself that.đ
I get they donât like Bakugou and ok thatâs normal but when you say heâs unimportant to the story and try to justify that and choose not to understand the manga correctly then thatâs entirely something else. Because then youâll only ever be disappointed the next time your least favorite character who is a main character get a lot of screen time Imo.

Yes!! I am so glad you came to me to talk about this. Honestly, I see this quite a lot. And they are entirely incorrect, yes they have the right to not like a character, but if you are gonna hate a character make sure you actually know everything why you should hate this certain character. Cause I am seeing a lot of false information.Â
So right here you can see that Bakugou is surely important to Izuku. He is a deuteragonist which is as you can see the second most important to the protagonist. Which Izuku Midoriya is the protagonist. And yes this was mentioned but it is very important and you canât ignore it. Also reading through these people say âoH BuT bAkUgOU ISnât ThE mAin cHaRaCtEr So He iSnât ImPoRtAnT tO aNyOne.â Okay? So All Might isnât the main character so he isnât important to Izuku? That is basically what you are saying.
Also Horikoshi is a good writer with Bakugou. He really worked hard for his development and make him important to Izuku for people to be like âOh WeLl He Is jUst A AnGry pErSoN, AnD He IsNâT evEn ThE mAin cHaRaCtEr Or A bIg HeLp!!1!!â Which makes no sense, because Hori would NEVER randomly make Bakugou Izukuâs ârivalâ if he wasnât important to the fucking story.
Really though, this pissed me off. I respect your opinion of course you donât have to like Bakugou. But you have to be real and stop creating your own fantasies in your head. So what if Bakugou isnât the main focus right now? It doesnât always have to be him. Again, if he isnât the protagonist then it wouldnât ALWAYS be Bakugou. There is way more that is gonna happen in the story. They just sound like idiots. BUT,,, this is just my opinion. So yeah, if you have anything else to say, or see anything else then you can come to me. I love answering questions.Â

Hi. I am/was a mileven defender until I saw that scene in the van and Mike's copy pasted monologue that felt like it wasn't even meant for El but for Will.
As a straight person, I don't think I can relate to a queer person's frustration or anger over Season 4 even if I tried.
And I'm sorry but that's why it's hard for me to understand why you guys have given up on your ship when it's obvious that my people are the ones that should be getting prepared for a massive straight bait.
I hate to even think about it and it saddens me to the core but Mike is clearly projecting. He doesn't feel about El the way he feels about Will and it shows. I think El truly loves Mike tho so it's even more frustrating to me.
I wanted mileven to work so badly and I still do but given Mike's strange behavior and the way Will and Mike look at each other and the way they stand side by side between two other canon ships in the final scene and actually all their scenes together, it's hard to not to believe that your ship is the one they're going for.
I guess it's a good thing that they are planning on making the gay ship endgame. I know you guys need some decent representation and I'm sorry about the people that are mocking you for it on Twitter or in real life. All of that doesn't mean I suddenly started shipping them tho. I'm still clinging on to mileven. Probably forever.
I just wanted to acknowledge that I think it's weird that many of you have lost hope. But again, I can't really relate to the things queer people are experiencing and going through on a daily basis so I want to apologize if anything I just said was insensitive.

This was really interesting to read, thank you so much for sharing, genuinely! I hadnât thought about it from this perspective before because iâve mostly seen mike/el fans only celebrating after s4, and iâve gotten several rude messages since vol. 2âs release over me being delusional and crazy for thinking byler would ever happen. Itâs super interesting we are both doubting our ships and convinced the other will now be canon after s4⊠and I find it really fascinating that as a mileven shipper you thought Mikeâs speech to El sounded like it was meant for WillâŠ
I still have faith that byler could happen, and the ending shots really make me think it will, but iâm worried that they wonât be able to fix the damage they did to it in s4 fully, in s5, because I thought the writing in s4 was very different than what we have previously seen in the show, and so many characters didnât get the development i thought they deserved. Regardless of whose ship ends up being endgame, I just hope that they fix it and actually resolve something in s5 so it ends on a healthy note for the couple. I believe everyone should ship whoever they want, so its totally fine by me if you donât ship byler. Also, thank you <3 It definitley sucks to be mocked by so many people rn LOL.
