I feel like people don't really understand the joy that comes from sharing, and part of that might come from this weird idea of politeness. Just cause you have something and someone doesn't, you have to offer them some and then they politely decline. No, I baked these cookies and I have so many. YOU hates terfs

When you watch a show that's giving you all kinds of feels so you wanna stop watching but you gotta keep going and suddenly you hate yourself and the show but love it at the same time

No one believes that young people know what they're talking about. I remember talking to my mom about something I learned in my government class and her telling me I was wrong. Even though I'd just learned it in my high school education, she refused to believe that she was wrong. The older generation, when confronted with information contrasting to their own, would rather believe they are right than admit they are wrong and learn new information that changes their viewpoint. My mom is a Democrat as well, she's better than lots of people her age, but she still believes in her own superiority
