Taxi Default Replacement for The Sims 2

This is a default replacement for the in game Taxi. This version I made is similar to the Sims 4 one. I removed the "thingy" on the top, leaving just the smaller one, changed the texture and made the glass more clear.

The Sims 4 Main Menu Inspired by The Sims 2

I made an override for the newly refreshed main menu in TS4. The last played family shown as you open the game made me think of loading screen in The Sims 2, so i thought, why not?

The backgroud is heavily inspired by Sims 2 loading screen. I made the art myself and used the icons from The Sims 4, to match the game's aesthetic. The override only changes the background image in main menu.

This is the first time I made a CC to The Sims (and finished it) and tbh I have no idea if I did it right lmao, but at least I'm proud of myself.

28/01/2025 UPDATE

After latest update, the game started using backgrounds that are images downloaded via internet connection. They replace the default image or any main menu override.

However! LunarBritney made a MOD THAT DISABLES ONLINE BACKGROUNDS.

It will NOT conflict with my main menu override. I recommend downloading it!

Opening Valley | A Neighborhood Based on The Sims 2 Intro | No CC

I present to you the third and final version of my neighborhood OPENING VALLEY! This version fixes all reported problems of the previous hoods including problems with randomized names and the appearance of stealth families. In addition, I have added MEMORIES AND FAMILY STORIES to all  playable characters! This total remake was a big undertaking for myself and involved a lot of time to complete, so I hope you enjoy and download the new OPENING VALLEY!

Description:

Opening Valley is a town where you are sure to recognize many familiar faces! The neighborhood takes inspiration from the intro of The Sims 2, that everyone who has played the game has seen before. Every character shown in the intro has their own unique name, story, personality and relationships. Complete with descriptions for every character, the map also features all houses and public lots from the intro as well as an additional 12 unoccupied lots, and much much more!

Information about the translation:

You have two files available to choose for your download: the English version (N277) and the Polish version (N278). The Polish Version (N278) has all text translated into Polish, regardless of the language your game is set to (i.e. if your game is set to English, all descriptions will be written in Polish). The same is true for the English version (N277), everything is given the English translation (in all languages, including Polish). This allows you to play in any combination of languages you want!

Important: The Polish version keeps the names of sims, streets and the city itself original (in English), it just translates all of the descriptions (city, sims, households, public lots).

Do pobrania dostępne są dwa pliki do wyboru: wersja angielska (N277) oraz wersja polska (N278). Obie z tych wersji będą działały poprawnie bez względu na język gry (na przykład - po pobraniu polskiej wersji wszystkie opisy będą po polsku, nawet jeśli językiem gry jest angielski). Dzięki temu możliwa jest gra w dowolnej kombinacji języków!

Ważna informacja: W polskiej wersji pozostają oryginalne imiona i nazwiska simów, nazwy ulic i miasta (po angielsku). Przetłumaczone zostają wszystkie opisy (miasta, simów, rodzin, parceli publicznych).

This map was made in its entirety by myself (and my boyfriend <3). None of the lots are premade or downloaded from other creators, however some lots do take inspiration from places in The Sims 3 (which you may recognize if you know that game well!).
