I think at the reception party there would be a ton of gifts, like a TON. Because yeah there'd be friends and family there (Delilah, May and Johnny, Chipp and Answer, Nago maybe, kiske family?, etc etc.) but also like, Baiken's helped save a lot of people at this point, 95% of those would probably be for her. They're making their speech and Anji just goes "And of course I can't thank you all enough for the...very generous amount of gifts..." and the camera pans over to a mountain of wedding presents like the baby shower from Hercules

(also if Axl showed up I'd imagine him using his time traveling powers to get them like, a piece of poetry or something that's actually legit, they ask Nago to check it and he confirms it's real. They don't think they'll have enough space in their house for everything)

trying not to assign a majority of the songs I listen to to characters or pairings all the time but sometimes a certain line in a song hits different and all of a sudden that restraint withers away.

I recently realized that AnBai really remind me of the characters from Lilo & Stitch by David Kawena and Nani Pelekai. It seems to me that there is a similar dynamic in their relationship (only their homeland has not been destroyed). What do you think?

Honest to god I have genuinely thought about doing some Lilo and Stitch stuff for them, although it was mainly in the context of Baiken and Delilah as Nani and Lilo (Manager Vampire, record player, that sorta thing) But now that you mention it, Anji as David does make a lot of sense. I think if they were in a more modern world he'd probably go out of his way to make sure she had opportunities for jobs, get her to take breaks when needed, just generally be there for support without asking much in return... ...except for maybe one date, if she's up for it.
