Other Parts are Here -> Part One --- Part Two --- Part Three
Donatello had a big problem. A very, very (that’s two verys) big problem. When he had given you that list a week ago he never expected you to actually do any of it. He just wanted to keep you busy, keep your strange and unusual feelings away from him. Feelings are way too complicated for this man of science to deal with, so the better option was to keep you and those emotions away from him. That was all he wanted, but when you came back with a big smile and a manilla file in hand, something changed. Donnie’s hands trembled as he marked off that first bullet in a purple Sharpie. As the purple ink slid onto the paper, Donnie realized just how deep of a pit he got himself into.
The genius highly underestimated your crush on him, your desire to date him. Donnie that night was unable to focus on his projects, panicking over his mistake to start this list thing with you instead. He paced in his lab, trying to figure out how he was going to fix this, make you forget the list and just not have anything happen with the paper.
He slid his hands over his face as he groaned loudly looking back to his computer. The file you had given him with all the Purple Dragon’s codes and secret files filled his screen. As he stared at the screen, soaking in the blue light from the monitors, he began to think. You gave him a direct way to sabotage the dragons, with your determination could you get him the cloaking brooch? The uranium? Donnie’s heart raced at the thoughts of what could be possible with you as his little errand-runner. “Maybe I can make this work…” the mutant mumbles as he runs his fingers over the folder, the list on the top of the cream file.
When Donnie asked you to go on a trip to the Hidden City with him, your heart nearly jumped from your chest. He said in his text that he needed to get some more mystic crystals for his tech bo and goggles. Maybe this could be an opportunity for you to get another bullet or two off the list. Of course you reply with an eager yes, buzzing with excitement, all worries about Donnie using you flying out the window. You kick and giggle like a young middle school you all over again on your bed, blushing madly at the offer. Taking a deep breath, you try to calm down, this is definitely not a date, just a supply run for Donnie and your list. That is all this is. Yep, definitely all this is.
You shake your fists by your chest, a stim of your overwhelming happiness as you can’t help but see this as a date. Although it wasn’t posed as a date, it felt like one. You text Donnie to meet you at Hueso’s for lunch before you both head to the yokai city for the totally not date.
You slip into a lilac T-shirt and ripped jeans, casual white sneakers on. You wanted to be comfy for the trip, the run possibly lasting hours. With a bag and a smile you meet Donnie at the hidden entrance to Run of the Mill Pizza, the place close to your apartment. As you wait for the purple softshell to show up you chew on your thumb nail and pace, mind racing with excitement and a little anxiety.
“You’re gonna fry your brain with all that thinking,” a voice says from below you. You snap your head to the manhole cover, the man of your enfatuation climbing to the surface.
You grin as you help Donatello by lifting the cover to let him get out all the way. The man was dressed in black cargo pants, and a loose white tank top over the sleek battle shell he always wore, a black hat over his mask, eyebrows perfectly drawn on, and bulky black boots on his feet. You bite your lip as you take in his exposed muscles, lean and so very hot. You look at his face, blushing as you find yourself caught in your staring. You look to the asphalt, clearing your throat at the nice sight of the softshell as you put the cover back over the manhole. “Hungry?” You ask as you look back to Donnie leaning on your tip toes as you gesture nervously to the Hidden City portal.
“For pizza? Scoff, is that even a question?” He walks into the portal, you following behind a bright red flush to your skin.
The smell of delicious, warm food fills your senses as you both walk in, yokai and mutants mingling in the diner. “Ah, Donatello welcome back,” A talking skeleton greets the two of you, a fond smile on his face. “No Pepino today?” Hueso quirks his eye ridge up as he leans against the host podium, causally talking with the softshell.
Donnie shakes his head, “Nope just me and a friend.” Your heart pangs at the title as Hueso nods his head and leads the two of you to a table. “I’ll do a flavorless juice and,” the mutant looks to you a brow raised in question, “Just a pepperoni?” Donnie asks you.
You hum as you are brought back to reality. “Huh?” Donnie repeats his question with a roll of his coffee eyes. “Oh…uh yeah, pepperoni is fine,” You bite your lip, trying to hide your disappointment over the ‘just a friend’ title Donnie gave you earlier. You are just friends, so he wasn’t lying, but it still kinda hurt. “And a Dr. Pepper for a drink.” Hueso nods and finishes up the order, putting it into the kitchen shortly after.
The silence at your table is awkward, your hands fiddling with one another below the table, bag next to you. “So, you wanted to get crystals, right?” You ask, unable to keep the silence and tension between the two of you. You look up at Donnie, seeing him just as fidgety as you.
Donnie looks to the side, “Yeah, I need some, the current crystals in my bo and goggles are running low on power.”
“O-okay cool,” You mumble looking back at your hands. “Anything else you wanna get while we’re down here?” You try not to sound nervous, failing miserably.
Thankfully the gods are on your side as the pipping hot pizza is placed on the table, Donnie’s juice and your Dr. Pepper placed on the respective sides. You both drool at the sight of the pizza, stomachs growling hungrily. You hum as you pick up a piece, devouring the cheese and meat heaven. “I would like to do a few other things while we are here,” the turtle say after swallowing a bite. “-get a few of your things marked off?” Donnie says, finally answering your question.
You choke on your soda, so shocked he even wanted to do that with you. He looks at you, puzzled at your reaction. You cough as you take a sip to calm the burn in your throat. “Oh, um yeah, I was planning on it anyway,” you managed to squeak out, rubbing your chest, the spot a little irritated from your coughing fit. Your face burned as you look off to the side, trying to settle yourself.
Donnie smiles, your heart fluttering at the expression. “Good,” he says as he takes your free hand, rubbing his thumb over your knuckles. “I kind of want this list to be completed.”
Your eyes grow comically large at the turtle’s words. “Y-you do?” Donnie nods to your question, as he eats another portion of his pizza. Your heart thuds against you rib cage, ears ringing, stomach rolling from Donnie’s confession. He wants this. He wants you to be successful with this list. Donnie, the emotionless bad boy, wants to get this list done so the two of you can date. You shake your head, an ear splitting grin on your face. You buzz in your seat, wanting to badly to kiss the mutant and check off your list. You can’t help it as you slap some cash on the table and bolt out of the diner, Donnie’s hand in yours.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
In a few short weeks, everything changed between you and Donnie. Everything for once in your crazy life was going right. After that first totally not date, the two of you continued to do little runs like that, Donnie helping you get the items on the list occasionally. Your heart soared every single time he sent a text about a trip. You traveled to Donnie’s favorite junk yards, the Hidden City multiple times, New York and so many other places with him, each trip feeling more and more like a date.
At twenty five days after marking off the first bullet on the list, you only had one item left. Uranium. Stupid uranium.
You dreaded getting the item, knowing it was pretty damn close to impossible to get. But you were determined. For once something was completely worth the risk, worth the pain and hours of stress put into each plan to check off another bullet. Donnie’s grin of excitement when you brought him the cloaking brooches, the scraps of precious metal, the crystals, it was all worth it. That look, the stims of joy, the oddly comforting evil laugh Donnie would make. The almost kiss that happened.
You snuck into Donnie’s lab with a very rare piece of machinery, Big Mama had it for some reason, but with a few twists on both ends, you got it. Sure you have a debt to the mob boss now, but to see Donnie look at you like he cared about you was all worth it.
“Donnie~” you call out to the mutant, pulling your bag off your shoulders. You unzip it as the purple softshell drops what he was doing and comes to you. You pull out the machinery with a smirk, watching as Donnie’s jaw drops, wide and definitely not drooling.
“Holy truffle mac and cheese, you got it?” he stutters out looking at the metal in your hands. He carefully plucks it from your fingers, stars in his eyes as he looks it over, “How?”
You try to act cool about his reaction, the banging of your heart in your chest and blood rushing faster than Sonic the Hedgehog, leaving you a little dizzy. “Eh, I managed to make a deal with BM over it.” You try to relax your stance, wanting to look chill and definitely not ready to bounce around the room at the speed of light.
Donnie’s eyes widen as he looks at you, “You made a deal with Big Mama? The mob queen of the Hidden City?” You nod, looking down to hide your blush, your left foot digging into the subway car floor. “God you are an absolute dumb dumb for doing that,” As you look up you see Donnie smiling at you, big and bright.
You can’t help but get close to him, not close enough to touch since for the mutant that is a big no-no, and you were not going to cross that line. You raise to your tiptoes, nose mear inches from his snout, “But I got it!” You see Donnie’s eyes flick down to your lips as you speak, his chest rising and falling quickly. He bites his lip and for a moment you contemplate whether or not to close the gap. You really want to close the gap, you want to feel his lips against yours so badly. And for a tiny moment, you swear Donnie wanted it too.
When the softshell clears his throat you snap out of it, faces flushed as you both take a step back from one another. “Uh thank you, Y/n,” the ninja swallows, returning to his desk to check off the list and to set down the metal.
You timidly walk over to him, trying to push passed the awkwardness of the almost kiss. You look over his shoulder, counting the remaining bullets unmarked by purple ink. “Six left!” You whisper, fingers shaking as you touch the paper as Donnie caps the marker . He looks at you and then look back to the list. “Six items and then you’ll be my boyfriend.”
Donnie rubs the back of his neck, “Yeah, boyfriend.”
Something about the way he sad that rubbed you wrong but you were too excited about finishing the list to care.
Now at one item, you stressed the next five days to get that stupid uranium. You scoured the internet to see if there was any news articles about big companies with your last item, unfortunately you couldn’t find any place that you could easily break into and get some. Hey, you may be desperate, but you were not breaking into tech genius billionaire, John Bishop’s business. He has more security than Big Mama does, and she was difficult as is.
You decided to turn to the turtle’s contacts, only one making you cry when they answered yes to having uranium on the second to last day of the thirty-day promise you made to Donatello. Of course, the Baron Draxum, when he lived in the Hidden City, had access to uranium. You thanked the goat man over and over again for letting you access his old lab. He asked you to grab a few things alongside the uranium while you were down there, because of course he would, and sent you on your way to the location.
Once you were down in the Hidden City you wandered to the location, cringing when you see the decrepit building, vines, and trash littering the place, clearly not having been touched in the years of Barry’s absence. Using a dagger you had gotten as a defense weapon from the turtles one Christmas, you thrash into the overgrowth that covered the door, gagging at the sound the vines made and the horrid scent that entered your nose as soon as you busted open the doors. You used the flashlight on your phone as you warily walk into the old lab, avoiding the crumbly walls, vines, and sciencey-type stuff. It was even worse looking inside than the out, but with all the sciencey botany stuff inside you figured Donnie would like to come here.
‘Maybe once we officially start dating I can take him here,’ you think to yourself as you look at all the books covered in dust and grime. ‘If it gets a good cleaning first.’
It took over an hour for you to find the box of uranium that Draxum had tucked away in his lab. You grinned as you pulled it out, seeing the glistening element under your phone’s flashlight. You pick up the box placing the other items you grabbed for the goat man inside before leaving the lab, closing the creaking doors behind you. You nearly trip over the steps as you leave, twisting your ankle in the process. You hiss at the pain in your foot, not too thrilled about having to limp back to a portal to get home. But you do it anyway, picking up a few pizzas for the boys at Hueso’s as you take a small rest for your aching limb at the pizza place.
Your ankle screams at you as you drop off the items requested by Barry to him, getting a small thanks from the yokai. You lift the nearest manhole from Draxum’s home and sit on the asphalt for a moment. This was so surreal for you. After months of pinning, you finally get Donnie’s heart after you willingly gave him yours. You look at your ankle, the joint swollen and bruising. You wince, “I might’ve rolled it more than I thought.” You shake your head, figuring Leo can take care of it once you give your soon-to-be boyfriend the uranium.
With your heart racing, you slip into the sewers to your fate, pizza and your last bullet on your list in hand.
Donnie paces in the kitchen, brothers surrounding him to help him with his current dilemma. “I don’t know what to do, this is all too,” the mutant rubs his hands over his face, looking helplessly at his brothers, “-too complicated.”
“Dontron, my dear twin,” Leo purrs, earning a glare from Donnie at the mention of the ‘twin’ thing. “You clearly love Y/n too.” Donnie rolls his eyes, looking away from the slider in clear annoyance.
“Yeah it’s kinda obvious, why would you do the list anyway?” Mikey chirps as Raph nods his head beside him.
The purple clad ninja glares at his brothers, a growl rumbling from his chest. They didn’t understand. This list was not to prove that Y/n liked Donnie enough to get the stuff, it was to keep them away. And how dare his siblings assume the softshell liked that mess of a human. Yeah their presence over the last few weeks became a comfort and maybe he enjoyed seeing the glint of pride and joy in their eyes every time they brought in an item, but that does not mean he had a crush. His dumb dumb brothers didn’t understand. “Scoff, I didn’t think that they would actually do any of it-” Donnie huffs, crossing his arms over his plastron as he leans against the back kitchen counter, his siblings, more like accusers in this moment, against the other counter, skeptical looks on their faces. “What I just wanted to keep them and all their complicated,” Donnie cringes, “-feelings away from me.”
“So you just wanted to push them away and instead made the two of you even closer?” Raph asks elbows leaning against the counter as he wears a sly grin on his face, snaggle tooth poking into his bottom lip at the action. Donnie hisses at his older brother, confirming his suspicion.
“Then why did you go on dates with them?” Mikey adds, tilting his head, a puzzled look on his round face.
Donnie throws his head back, his mask tails brushing his battle shell. “They were not dates Micheal,” the softshell looks at his brothers again, clearly frustrated and, dare they say, looking a little scared. “I just used the outings as a distraction so they wouldn’t find out I was using them for all the items on the list!” His siblings gawk at his reply, eyes wide as they stare the purple genius down. Donnie shrugs his shoulders, “What?”
Mikey pinches what would be his nose bridge if he had one, “Donnie you realize the problem here right?” Yes, yes he did, and frankly he didn’t care. It was Y/n’s stupid crush that caused this whole problem in the first place. It’s their fault all of this has happened. Don’t blame him.
Leo wraps and arm around his shoulder, one he quickly backs away from. “Dude, they have it down bad for you and you decide to use their crush on you as an opportunity to get shit for you?” Leo looks disappointed as Donnie pulls away from his arm. The softshell looks at his older and youngest brother, similar looks on their faces.
“Not cool Don,” Raph whispers, voice full of big brother shame. Donnie cringes hating the fact he disappointed his siblings, each turtle’s expression burning into his mind.
Donnie shakes his head, trying to stay strong and justify his choices, “Okay, and what if I am?” His brothers stare at Donnie, and he can’t help but shudder under their stares. “ I’ve been using them to get stuff for my projects. Once I realized they were crazy enough to actually do that kind of thing for me I decided I could make it all work out and I-”
A loud crash is heard right at the entrance of the kitchen. The beacon of the problem standing in the doorway with wide eyes. “What?” Donnie and his brothers freeze at the sight of you, boxes crushed against the floor in a messy heap.
“Oh...uh hello Y/n,” Donnie swallows the thick lump in his throat as he sees you. Of course, this would happen, classic romance kinda thing. The snapper, slider and box turtle leave the kitchen, and Donnie almost begs them to stay. Almost.
“You’ve been using me?” Donnie rolls his eyes, not understanding why this was such a shocker of a thing for him to do. He looks at you and- oh. Oh.
Oh.
The expression on your face erases his brother’s disappointed looks from minutes ago. Yours is burned, no, carved into his mind. Your eyes are owlishly wide, body trembling as tears bead in the corners of your eyes Donnie grew to like watch crinkle with a smile on the chapped lips you bit so often. Your face was pale and not the healthy pink it glowed with normally.
Donnie looks down to the ground before stepping towards you and when you immediately step back, something inside him breaks. He didn’t like this reaction one bit, all of it rubbed him wrong. “L-look,” the softshell stutters eyes to the kitchen tiles once again. “I-”
“No.”
“What?” Donnie looks up to you, seeing your cheeks glistening with fresh tears.
You swallow thickly, shaking your head as you back up. “No, I-I don’t want to hear it. I don’t want to hear fake excuse from you.” You try to wipe your eyes and it takes everything he has to not grab your face to wipe them from your cheeks because dammit he did not like that. “I can’t believe I believed your little list was to date you!” You scoff and cover your face in one hand.
“I didn’t think you would do it,” Donnie whispers as he tries to step towards you again, really wanting to explain everything and get that stupid look off your face.
Your head snaps up from your hands, “Yeah and I didn’t think you would use me.” You bark and it sends a shiver down Donnie’s spine, feeling it in his shell from the bitter tone you speak in. “Why did you do it anyway?” You ask folding your arms over your chest, all your weight placed on one foot
Donnie swallows the worsening lump in his throat. He focuses on the floor instead of your body, trying to ignore the pit of despair forming in his gut. “Feelings are complicated,” He hears you scoff at that but continues, “Your feelings are complicated, a-and I didn’t like that,” the softshell wets his lips, digging for the right words in his mind. “I wanted to keep you busy by giving you crazy tasks, and by Newton’s law you did it.” Donnie finally gets the courage to look at you again, only to regret it by seeing your face full of hurt and anger. “A-and I decided to, to use your blind devotion to get all that stuff for experiments and projects.”
You are silent for a while and Donnie almost sighs with relief to have it over, but of course, you reply to his statement in the worst way possible. “So none of this was because you liked me back?” Donnie looks away again and nods. You huff, a broken sound Donnie never wants to hear again. “This entire time I thought maybe I had a chance. I thought the one guy I have ever loved this hard actually wanted me. Those dates, or do you even want to call them that?” Donnie cringes, realizing how it looked from your point now. You suck in a deep breath, taking his silence as the answer to your question. “Those were dates to me, and I loved every single one. Every. One.” You throw your arms into the air, “I thought you loved me, I guess I was wrong.” Donnie hears you begin to move away and fights himself on whether or not to stop you. He almost does until you speak again, voice low and full of venom. “Enjoy your uranium, asshole.”
The turtle looks down at the fallen boxes, remembering their presence. He sees pizza scattered on the ground from Run of the Mill, boxes crumpled under another, much bigger box. He crouches to the ground and his heart stops as he sees the precious item he’s been wanting for so long. His breath hitches in his throat as he looks up to try and stop you from leaving but you are already gone. Donnie’s vision swims as he shakily grabs a clump of the element, staring at it with disdain. He drops it in the box and curls in on himself, feeling incredibly guilty, remembering all the ‘dates’ the two of you had, the smile that made his heart pound against his plastron, your voice making his soft shell shiver. He closes his eyes trying to block out how overwhelmed he felt, only to see your broken expression in the darkness of his eyelids.
Donnie sobs, as he realizes what he just did, and that he did in fact feel the same way you do about him. Fuck.

Based off of this post bc it made me giggle
Nattie speaks: y’all this mf clown has no right to be so fine but LAWRD. I’d do anything just for one lick. This is short nd simple but cute🤭
ZORO DRAGGED HIS FEET across the wooden floors of the Going Merry, ignoring the muffled screeching of the clown head inside the dark sack as he set his eyes on thing. Nightfall was approaching, everyone on the ship wanted some rest, yet nobody was getting any with the constant whining of Buggy. The green haired man pushed open your door, making you jumped slightly as you looked towards him with a raised brow.
“I give up, all yours now.” Zoro voiced practically dripped in annoyance, he tossed the sack across the room, making it land onto the soft cushion of your bed before slamming the door behind him.
You could hear groans coming from the sack, “Damn you, you fucking broccoli-haired ass!” You chuckled softly, putting down the comb you had in your hand and walking towards the scruffy bag. As you released the clown head he sighed in content, breathing in the fresh scent of berries that engulfed the room. “Ah, sweetness, so good to see you!”
“Nice to see you too, Buggy.” You giggled, “You doing alright there?” You asked, smiling a bit as the man got comfortable on your bed.
“Much better now that I have you in front of me.” He winked with a flirtatious smirk on his red painted lips. “I definitely thought he was going to put me with that weird chef guy again so he could chop me into piece and cook me or something.”
“Looks like you got lucky today.” You smirked back, grabbing him and placing him on the small vanity, going back to combing through your hair. Buggy was a simple man, with simple needs, especially since his whole body was gone. The angle his head was facing gave him more fuel into his dirty thoughts. His eyes directly faced your chest, eyes captured on the line of cleavage peeking from the low cut tank top you had on. He was hypnotized by you, for the first time since he was taken by Luffy and placed on the ship to sail away to Arlong island he’d gone completely silent.
You simply hummed, clueless of how the clown shifted slightly to get a closer view. You suddenly let out a huff, dropping the comb and looking over at the clown. “Y’know, I like having you around here, you totally make me feel special and even though the rest of the crew might really, really not like you, know I’m on your side.”
“Mhmm.” Buggy hummed in response, eyes hungrily watching you. “I appreciate that, sweetness.”
You smiled. “You hungry?” You stood up and took him in your arms, cradling him carefully like he was a baby. The blue hairs that peaked from under the striped bandana tickled your skin.
Buggy enjoyed being around you, especially since you were so generous and careful with him, the others simply tossed him into the sack or an empty barrel whenever he even spoke. But you, you fed him, you defended him, you took care of him and did the exact opposite of what everyone else did. “I’m hungry for one thing, that’s for sure, sweetness.” The clown replied, eyes still clued onto your tits as you entered the small kitchen.
“Hey, maybe we can brush through that tangled mess once we get a quick snack.” You replied giddily with a big smile, “Hey, and wanna know another thing—“ You heard a string of groans follow as soon as you stepped into the room with Buggy.
“I gave him to you specifically to get away from him.” Zoro groaned, making Sanji nod in agreement.
“I’ll be out soon, stop your whining.” You replied with a roll of your eyes, reaching for the basket of fruit and picking out two apples. You picked up a knife and cutting board, quickly going to work and chopping up a few apple slices. “So as I was saying, nobody has ever taken me seriously, which why I also like you, you don’t make fun of me which is what many others do.”
Zoro and Sanji glanced at eachother with questioning looks as you proceeded with your mini rant, both of them making eye contact with the clown head that smirked at them, a cheeky look in his eyes.
“But I mean, Luffy chose me to be a part of his crew so obviously I can be more, I’m not dumb, and I feel like more people need to take me seriously.”
“Hey.” The clown smirked as he watched your every move, finally speaking up about his slight obsessing with your chest. “Nice tits.”
“Thank you!” You happily replied with a smile, placing the slices on a clean plate and taking Buggy back to your room as everyone stared in shock. “Goodnight boys!”
“Yeah, goodnight fellas!” Buggy called out, and if only he’d had the rest of his body he’d most definitely be given them a middle finger.
“How is it that a clown can do better at getting that girl then me?” Sanji muttered in annoyance.
Forever will live, love, and laugh Buggy

The gentle rays of the sun peeked through an uncovered slit in the cargo container. The warmth of the rays on your eyelids stirred you from your sleep as you snuggled under your blanket just a little more. Squinting as the sliver of light met your pupils, you sat up and rubbed the drowsiness from them. You then sat there for a few minutes, eyes closed, to wake up and gain the energy to get out of bed. That's when you smelt it. The smell of freshly cooked food for people's morning meal. The rumbling of your stomach was finally enough to get you off your butt. "Alright, up an-at'em!"
You swiftly and smoothly swung your heavy coat over your shoulders as the doors were sent swinging open by your hands. Was it possibly dangerous for you to be out in the open during the day? Yes. Could you very easily get caught? Yup! Did you care at the moment? Ha, no! Food was number uno on your mental list, riiight after caution of course.
Making your way down the half destroyed building you were living on, you carefully took in your surroundings. Taking in how many people walked passed you, what places were more busy than others and whether or not officers were about. You then noticed a guy, who looked to be a tourist, was walking in your direction. You shook your head at him, watching as he kept all his focus on taking pictures of the buildings instead of watching where he was going and... a perfect target! You advanced towards him, head low.
"Oh, s-sorry!" The guy apologized after he was shoved aside when your shoulder bumped his. Some papers were knocked from his satchel, gaining his attention after staring at your back for a moment as you hunched off. "Man...what a jerk." He thought, now gathering the papers on his knees. Little did he know the rude stranger was an expert pickpocket that plucked the precious leather fold from his back jean pocket.
"Jack pot!" You sang to yourself in a dark corner of an ally as you counted the $600 in cash the bill fold had stored. Not wanting the heat from the cards he had, you tossed the wallet in a planter as you passed a café. "Hello, I'd like to order a (L/M/S) pizza with (T) and a (s/f) please!" You ordered from a stolen flip phone. "Uh huh, I need it delivered to Walt Whitman Branch Brooklyn Public Library. Yeah, just put it on the first step. The money will be waiting for you there!" Hanging up, you hid yourself behind a corner of the building to wait for your meal to arrive.
A feeling began to form in your stomach as you watched the pizza guy arrive and step out of his vehicle. the aroma of pizza tickled your nose as soon as he opened the car door. You couldn't help the small smile that tugged at your lips as the guy looked around for whoever the order was for but placed the food on the first step and took the money plus tip, of course! You may be a pickpocketing thief but you still tip your waitresses!
"Awe yeah!" You say to yourself as you spun the box on your finger tip. You walk over to a ledge and sit criss-cross, pizza now sitting on your lap. You took in the savory smell before chowing down. You enjoyed every bite, every delicious topping until it was all gone and you were stuffed. "Man, I can't remember the last time I ate a meal like that." You say to yourself after taking a drink from your beverage.
When lunch time rolled around you continued your tricks and same for supper. You almost got caught once but a good scare sent the kid crying to his parents. You didn't do much in the wee hours. You walked around a bit but that's about it.
Leaning against a metal support you watched the late night buzzing view for a little while. It was nice to watch the busyness of the streets, though, another part of your yearned to be apart of it again. You sigh as the prodding feeling of loneliness creeped into your chest. It's been almost four years now since you escaped and the longer you kept yourself from reaching out to April and the other two the more this feeling grew. "Ugh!" You growled wanting to give in so badly and ask for help but another part kept telling you no, don't do it. Not that it had a real reason for wanting to stop you.
Another sigh escaped your lips before you pulled out the flip phone and timidly flicked it open. You stared at the screen for a while, still heavily debating on doing this. "I need the help." You choked before dialing the familiar number. Your heart seemed to jump and race in your chest as the phone rang. "Hello?" A familiar yet quizzical voice rang in your ear. "April?" Your chest was tight and the phone went silent for a second or two. "Y-Y/n?" Her voice was hopeful. "Um, I...I need your help." Your voiced pitched as the pent up tears stung your eyes and threatened to trail down your cheeks.
"Omg, where are you? Are you hurt? Casey, it's Y/n!" Adrenaline rush through April as she quickly got off her couch and grabbed some things. "Y/n, stay right where you are, don't go anywhere. Just stay on the phone with me!" She insisted as she pulled her shoes on her feet before her and Casey rushed out the apartment building.
Seeing April and Casey step out of their car, you stood on the ledge. "I'm on top of the building..." You say weakly into the phone. This felt surreal to you like you were just dreaming and at any moment you would wake up. And that worried you. You wanted this to be real. You wanted to believe that April and Casey were really here to help you. You wanted to believe that you were hearing April's voice over the phone and all the way up the flights of stairs until they reached your floor. "Y/n?" Her voice was still hopeful but more confident as her eyes scanned your back. Your heavy coat making it difficult to make out your form.
The hand that held the phone slowly dropped to your side and you glanced over your shoulder at her. You studied her, seeing if there was any doubt in her body language before you turned to face her. April squinted in the dim lighting and she slowly approached you. "Y/n?" She called again. "Y-yeah..." You choked up and stepped off the ledge towards her. Her face dropped an expression of relief and sorrow stretched across it. Like a mother who found her lost child. She rushed towards you, wrapping her arms around you tightly as she cried into your shoulder.
Your shaky hands balled into fists as you returned the long awaited hug. The silent tears that formed in your eyes now stained her shirt. Then another embrace warmed you as Casey joined you guys. "Let's get out of this dark place, c'mon." Casey said and lead the way back downstairs.
Casey hopped in the driver seat and April sat in the back with you. As soon as the lights of the car hit your face April froze. "Casey..." She said as she stared at your reptilian skin. "Omg." Casey said in udder disbelief when he looked over his shoulder. "I'm sorry...this was a bad idea!" You whimpered quietly before backing out of the back seat. "No! Y/n, we didn't mean it like that!" April's hands found your arm and held it firmly in hopes of preventing you from leaving. "Just get in and we'll take you to my place, okay?" She insisted as she pulled you towards her.
"Have you been living there this entire time?" The silence that took over the car was broken by April's sudden question. "For four years, yeah. I...I was afraid to ask for help...I don't know why. I...I don't know." You trail off, not once looking at them. "We've been looking everywhere for you! But when we couldn't find you...we..." "We thought the foot had you but even they couldn't find you. It's like you disappeared off the face of the earth." Casey finished after April hesitated. "No...after I broke out of that one place, I ran. I didn't know where I was but I some how found my way back to New York and hid away..."
April hugged you. "I'm sorry they did this to you. I should have walked you home or at least offered you a ride home." She muttered. "I've been doing okay on my own it's just....been lonely..." You reply. "So wait a minute...does that mean you're the sandwich thief that has been going around the city stealing?" Casey ask as he turned a corner. "Sandwich thief?" You inquired. April then pulled out her phone to bring up a recent News article titled The Sandwich Thief's Ongoing Streak.
As she read the article to you the place and unknown description seemed to jog your memory. It was storming that night and heavily raining. The shop owner had a good scare and almost took your head off with his firearms. "Got lucky on that one didn't yuh?" A small smirk tugged at Casey's lips. "Yeah...he almost took my head off." You chuckle sheepishly. April and Casey shared a laugh as you guys road for the next twenty minutes.
You and April continued talking and catching up while Casey drove you all back to Manhattan. That is...until Casey heard a ping from his dashboard. His attention immediately went to a gps tracker that alerts him of Foot clan activity. Donnie made it in case he was able to join them in taking Foot clan soldiers down if he were close enough. This time however, the activity showed up behind you all. Casey looked in his rear view mirror to see a large truck following you all. "Uh...April. I think we may have company." He said as the truck sped up. "Get us out of here!" April called as two motorcycles pulled up on either side of the car.
A high speed chase ensued as Casey drifted through the streets in an attempt to lose the soldiers. He had already pressed the emergency button next to the GPS to send a signal to the turtles that he needed backup. He just had to keep them off his tail to give the guys time to get to you all. "Aaah!" Both you and April yelped when the truck rammed into the back of the car in an attempt to push you all off the road. Thankfully Casey seemed to be managing well.
It felt like an eternity before you manage to lose them somehow. Once the opportunity arose, Casey drifted into a warehouse where you three sat in silence for some time. "You two get out." Casey ordered. April opened her door without question and pulled you with her. Screeching off, Casey booked it out of the warehouse to lure the Foot away and it seemed to work...for now. "Ok, come-come over here. Let's hide here until he comes back." April panted as you two hunkered under some crates. She found a nearby tarp and pulled it over the boxes and yourselves to hide the both of you.
An hour passes then two then three while you both sat huddled together in silence. "I hear an engine. You hear it?" You whisper, listening closely to the noises outside. "I know that sound. Wait here." April grunted as she ducked out from under the tarp. Doing as she said you rest your back against a crate until she returned.
The tarp is then suddenly yanked from over you about five minutes later. "Jesus April, don't do that you scared the shit out of me!" You cried out. "C'mon, the guys are here. I've already explained everything to them." She said, offering her hand to you. "Even?..." You gestured to yourself timidly. "That part I told them they would have to see to understand." She said before taking your hand and helping you to your feet.
Mikey
"Oh, Y/n! We're so sorry! Please forgive us! We promise to never ignore you again. Never ev...er!" I embraced her until I slowly set her down when got a good look at her. "Whoa." I gasped. I didn't realize I was staring until she hugged herself and scratched the back of her head. I take a few steps back to really look at her. Her (s/c) skin glistened in the headlights of the turtle truck. 'Wow, I don't remember her being this beautiful. Was she always this beautiful?' I think to myself.
Raph
'What the hell did they do to her? Those bastards!' I could begin to feel my blood boil after everything began to sink in. But... I also felt oddly at ease now that she's here with us. Even though she looked scared...I couldn't help the butterflies in my stomach when I saw her face. One minute I want nothing to do with her and now... she's the most gorgeous girl in the world. "Okay, we should get back to the lair before more Foot soldiers arrive." Donnie suggested, seeming to snap everyone back to reality. Even Leo seemed dazed by how she looks.
Donnie
As we got Y/n into the truck I took it upon myself to give Y/n a quick check up to make sure she wasn't hurt in any way while Raph drove. As I check her...I began to notice more and more details about her. She's beautiful! Wait...no! What? No, no. I can't be thinking like this. We are still in a dire situation right now- well, maybe not dire but still dangerous...she...she is quite beautiful though...Ah! Stop it Donnie! Get yourself together! She could be hurt somewhere and your just gawking at her.
Leo
I just watched her...I had nothing to say to her...I was at a complete loss of words. She went through so much and yet she still came back to us for help. God, what kind of person was I to treat her like that? I need to make it up to her, anyway I can, I have to make it up to her! My attempts to keep my attention focused on getting home were futile as I kept finding myself staring at her...she wasn't doing anything but sitting there quietly and yet I was so intrigued by her... but...why? I mean...she does look.. pretty...What am I thinking? I wouldn't be surprised if she yelled at us later for how we treated her and yet here I am aweing at her. Maybe when we get to the lair I'll be able to focus better. We still have to get her situated.

I hope you guys enjoyed this story though and hopefully I'll post another a bit later. ☺️

Hey there! I hope you’re doing well! I was kinda thinking if maybe you could write a lil something with Bartolomeo✌🏻He’s just so cute and funny looking and I love him very much😻I was thinking maybe something with a strawhat reader who actually happens to be a fan of Bartolomeo and has a crush on him. And maybe rooster head also has this massive obsession with her cause she’s his favorite and fell in love with her the first time he saw her. Just maybe something cute. Thank You!
Hello, sorry for the long wait, as said previously I was busy with exams but am done now. Your suggestion was very cute to write so I hope you enjoy it
Female reader
Dressrosa/beginning of Zou spoilers

Narrator POV
The strawhats... Oh how they were just perfect in Bartolomeo's eyes. Ever since that day in Logue town he'd been obsessed with them! Following every one of their adventures and obsessing over each one. But there was one that he loved more than all, one that actually passed his love for Luffy (by only a small bit of course) and that was, you.
There was just something special about you that charmed Bartolomeo to become obsessed with you more than the others. You were so sweet, but so wild too, even a bit more violent than the others, and that just made him fall hard. Once the word that Doflamingo had the flame flame fruit that previously belonged to Luffy’s brother Ace, Bartolomeo knew he had to win it so he could bring it to the Strawhats to win Luffy's praise, and maybe even get yours...
-------------------------------------------------------------
Bartolomeo POV
Right now I was helping defending Robin Senpai against Doflamingos men when someone came flying towards me, I didn't care too much but the outline of the person falling seemed too familiar, so I caught them and oh boy... It was... You. You were injured now laying in my arms, I just froze in place, my heart racing and my body heating up. You stirred and looked up at me, and you seemed, reassured. "Hey, you're Bartolomeo the cannibal, right?" Oh god she knows who I am... "Luffy told me you're a big fan of us, that's cool because I actually really like you too" Oh my god, she likes me?? "I've been a big fan of your stuff, I like seeing what you're getting up to when I see you in the newspaper" Oh my God... She's... She's a fan of mine! This is too much for me to handle! I can feel my body shaking and heating up! This si so overwhelming!!! "I actually think you're kinda cute..."
"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHOHMYGODMYSENPAILIKESMEBACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I shouted out, making everyone look back at me in confusion. I was sobbing at this point. M-my favorite Strawhat, they think I'm cute! They like me! God, this is so much more than I could ever ask for!!! I swear, my sweet Senpai, I will defend you with my life! I am undeserving of your grace but I am eternally thankful for you appreciation!
-------------------------------------------------------------
Bartolomeo did not put you down, making sure you wet safe. It was only when he fought against Gladius that he put you down to safety. And once that was taken care of you were quick to make sure he was okay and healed up, which he loved so much, being pampered and taken care of by you. And during the days of rest, you two got closer and he couldn't ask for anything more than to get close to you.
Now, you and the others were on Bartolomeos ship, heading for Zou to meet up with Nami, Sanji, Chopper and Brook. Barto had been following you around like a lost puppy, he knew you'd be leaving with the others soon and he wanted to spend as much time with you as possible. And when the time came for you all to leave, Bartolomeo was crying and clinging to you, not wanting you to leave. "Barto, I have to go..." you said softly while running your hand through his hair, "PLEASE! Just a minute longer... I'm gonna miss you so much!!" he cried out, "Oh don't say that, we'll definitely see each other again, our crews are friends now, it'd be a shame to just not see you again." "But when will I see you again!?" "Well probably in the newspapers, but, if you're ever in trouble, I promise we'll come as soon as we can to help. And if the crew can't come, then I'll come for you myself~" he was all red again, all flustered because of your kindness and love towards him, "R-Really? You'd do that for me???" He asked, his eyes sparkling. You leaned down and gave him a quick but tender kiss on the lips, "Yes, I'd do anything to come and save you~" He was frozen. You... You kissed him! Not only that but on the lips! He just collapsed unconscious in your arms, bus crew helped him to lay down and he just lay unconscious with his face all red and his expression completely lovestruck. You chuckled at his reaction and kissed him on the forehead before leaving with the rest of the crew.
Bartolomeo was now filled with determination, he would see you again, and he'd get you to kiss him like that again! He will see you again, and nothing was going to stop him.

A short sweet one for now. But I've got one more request to do, so I'll be back very soon, see ya.

Me reading the fanfic:
Bayverse! Donatello x Reader
It was pure luck that they got to meet you, or perhaps it was fate. It all started with Kevin, their pizza guy. He was reliable, didn't particularly care that they were turtles. He simply did his job and kept it moving. A true New Yorker, through and through. But tonight, Kevin called in sick, and your boss asked you to do the deliveries. At first you didn't want to, it was late, and you didn't like walking around at night. But he promised that he'd only send you on local runs, and so you caved.
This was your last delivery of the night, and you were in a good mood. The heat that seemed to cling to every part of this awful city was finally dissipating, you had been given a twenty-dollar tip, and your boss' wife had offered you the last batch of cannoli's and a ride to your apartment over in East Flatbush. Things were good, great even.
The instructions had been a bit sketchy, even more so when the caller learned that Kevin wasn't going to be delivering. They, you could hear an amalgamation of voices on the other side of the call, tried their best to convince you to leave the pizza at a designated spot and they were to leave the money in that exact same spot.
You knew it was a scam so you threatened to hang up, but eventually, after a lot of infighting, they gave up and still placed an order for four extra large pies. You were sure to slip your mace into the pocket of your leggings before leaving.
You were expecting a group of teenage boys, not four overly grown mutant turtles.
It was a pleasant surprise. Perhaps it was your neurodivergence, but you weren't really that thrown off when Mikey had appeared from the shadows, rambling on and on about how starved he was. It took a few minutes for your head to wrap around it, but when it did you immediately blurted out that this was perhaps the best thing that could have ever happened.
"Giant, humanoid turtles!" you had shouted, letting go of the pizzas when Leo grabbed them.
"We're ninjas too!" Mikey had announced, seemingly just as excited as you were.
"Ninjas!" you repeated, as if it was the most incredible thing.
Donnie sat you down a few hours later, after you had clocked out and secured your box of cannoli's, to tell you that you had gone into shock. Perhaps were still in shock.
"Oh," you said, offering him a cannoli. "Does this mean we can't be friends?"
It was probably in that moment, sharing a cannoli with you in the middle of an alley in Brooklyn, that Donatello first found himself falling for you.
You and Mikey, you two were like two peas in a pod. Whenever he had a plan he would make sure to run it by you first. Were it pranks, a sick new choreograph, or maybe an idea for a comic book that he would forget about in a week, you were his partner in crime.
There was never a time when they felt like you judged them, made them feel like they were beneath you for being... different. You weren't like April, who was a bit more reserved. No, you embraced their quirks and their unique abilities. And that was something that Donnie found incredibly attractive.
He could talk to you for hours and you would sit and listen, you would ask questions, beg him to show you, to teach you. You were amazed at his skills, and he was enraptured with you. Late nights in the lab, where he would show you how to code, or build your own gadgets were his favorites. Then the rest of his family would fall asleep, and suddenly it was just you and him, the only two people in the world.
It was only natural that you would ask to go on patrol with them, He could see the curiosity in your eyes, anyone could. The answer was no, of course. What they did was dangerous, they got hurt. Raphael had a cracked shell that had almost taken his life, April had a scar on her bicep from getting stabbed. That was considered getting lucky. You were fragile, you would get hurt. He wouldn't allow it. He would not be responsible for putting you in danger.
"I'm not asking you to throw me into the middle of a battle, but I want to be a part of this as well. I don't want to be left out." You said, standing in front of him with your arms crossed.
He simply walked around you, itching to get on his computer. "No." is all he says, his mind made up.
"Donnie, come on." you whine, following to his lab.
"It's dangerous, you don't know what you're asking."
"I've been training with Raph and Leo, they said I'm good, that-"
"Good isn't great, Good isn't going to keep you safe."
He feels your fingers wrap around his forearm, the heat of your skin sinking into his as you stop him in his tracks. "You'll keep me safe, wont you?"
It's a dirty move, but the words go straight to his heart, making him flustered. Of course he would keep you safe. He would do anything to keep you safe. But he wasn't about to cave in. "You're not coming with us, that's final." He gently peels your fingers off of him.
"Please Donnie?" you whisper, stepping closer to him.
He has to swallow, has to stop himself from giving in to your plea. "I can't. I'm sorry. It's too risky. If you want to help, I can show you how to do that from the safety of the base. You can work at the computer, you can-"
This time you interrupt him, taking another step closer. He can smell the faint scent of your bodywash, feel the warmth that radiates off of you. It makes him swallow hard. He's being doing so good with keeping his feelings in check, but whenever you got too close things became difficult.
"Donnie I want to help. I'll be safe, I'll be careful. I'll do whatever you say, no questions asked. Please."
He found out a while ago that he had a weakness for begging. For the way your voice would slightly go up an octave, your eyebrows knitting together, the way your pupils would dilate. It made it impossible to say no to you. So he caved, weak to your pleading.
"Fine, but you stay with me at all times. You don't go off on your own, you don't engage with the enemy. You stay hidden and you let us do our job. Understood?"
You break into a wide smile, throwing your arms around his waist. "Thank you! Thank you!" you say, happiness bubbling your words.
With your face pressed against his chest and your hands interlocked just below his shell, Donnie feels his heart start to pound. It's like his brain malfunctions, and he's unable to think about anything but the way your body seems to fit so perfectly against his. He's never been hugged like this, never had someone hold onto him like they never want to let go. It's both exhilarating and terrifying.
His hand comes up to the back of your head, and he lets his fingers slip through your hair as he holds you in place.
He couldn't have picked a better night to show you the ropes. It's a rare occurrence that the city is so quiet and dead, but tonight is one of those. Donnie has glued himself to your side, choosing to ignore the teases from his brothers. He shows you things that are important, but always overlooked.
Things like where to hide, how to stay silent and unseen, and how to stay aware of your surroundings. He explains the importance of being patient and waiting for the right moment to strike. You listen to him with rapt attention, eager to learn all that you can from him. But the intense eye contact makes him nervous, and he stumbles over his words.
The night seems to fly by, and after stopping a robbery Leo calls it a night.
Raphael shoots him a look, a cocky smirk on his face as he throws his arm around Mikey. "Let's go Mikey, It's starting to feel a bit too romantic around here." Raphael says, chuckling as he pulls Mikey along.
Mikey waves at you, the same shit eating grin on his face. "See ya later, babes!"
You wave goodbye to both of them, and Donnie is fully aware of the blush on your cheeks as you turn around to face him. "We should celebrate!" you say, taking his hand.
His fingers are too big, and they swallow your hand." Sure," he whispers, unable to take his eyes off of them. "How do you want to celebrate?"
You tug, and he lets you pull him along the alley. "I saw a Mister Softee truck a couple blocks away. Lets go check if its still there!"
Donnie can't help but smile at your excitement, feeling his own heart start to race with anticipation. As you lead him towards the ice cream truck, he takes a moment to admire your beauty. The way your hair falls around your face, the way your eyes light up with joy at the prospect of ice cream. He can't help but feel a wave of emotion wash over him, a feeling he's been struggling to understand for some time now. He knows what it is, but he doesn't know if its something he's allowed to feel.
He waits for you in the shadows of the alley as you order the ice cream, his eyes glued down to his hand. He can feel the ghost of your touch still and it makes his stomach flip. He's never really had a... crush before, seeing as he was a talking mutant turtle living in the sewers. But he's seen enough movies, read enough books that he knows that he's in love with you. That his heightened heart rate, nervous behaviour, and constant desire to touch you, see you, hear you are all just symptoms of love.
Because at the end of the day, that's what he feels for you. But he's... well he's a freak and you're human. Even if you're friends, he knows you would never fall so low as to fall in love with him.
You come back and softly place his cup of strawberry covered soft serve into his hand. He's quick to push down his thoughts, fixing his face to match your smile.
"Come on," he says, unable to take his eyes off the way you lick at the ice cream on your knuckles. "I know the perfect place to enjoy this."
He takes you to one of his favorite spots, helps you climb the fire escape until you're both sitting on the ledge of the building, overlooking the Hudson and the Jersey lights.
You swing your legs, your eyes on the sight. You slowly eat your ice cream.
"Do you think its true?" you suddenly ask, turning to face him.
"Hmm?" He's got a mouthful and manners that prevent him from talking until he swallows.
You point at the group of people swimming in the river and he physically recoils.
"Do you think they'll end up with superpowers or something?"
He can't help but snort as he sets his empty paper cup down. "Oh it'll be something, with how dirty and disease riddled that water is I wouldn't be surprised if they become radioactive. They can kiss their health goodbye that's for sure. How much you wanna bet that they're tourists?"
You giggle, your eyes still glued on the tiny little figures splashing around the water. "It must be nice you know, being so carefree that you don't even care about the consequences. I wish I was that brave."
Maybe its the sugar running through his veins, or maybe its the damp New York heat, but Donnie feels something inside of him crumble. He's saved this city countless times, but somehow the idea of confessing to you was scarier than facing any of his enemies.
But he wants to, he has to. Sitting here with you, he realizes that he can't keep bottling up his feelings any longer. The odds are against him, but he wants to be brave. He calls out your name and you turn to look at him, dropping your head to the side.
"I like you" he blurts out, ripping the band-aid off. " As in more than just a friend. I keep thinking about you, about holding your hand." He's starting to get nervous and his mouth won't close.
"I can't seem to stop thinking about you. I like the way you laugh, the way you're so close with all of my brothers. You never judge us, you never make us feel like freaks. Even though that's exactly what we are."
"Donnie-"
He keeps rambling, tugging on the strap of his backpack. He can't look at you, too lost in his panicking thoughts to hear you trying to talk.
"And I know that there's no way you feel the same, I've ran the calculations, I've analyzed every possible scenario, and the chances are just too slim. But I can't help how I feel, and I just had to tell you. I like you so much, and I want to do all these things with you, like go on walks in the park, watch movies together, and I know we already do that but I want to experience all of those things again with you as my... girlfriend."
"Donnie can you-"
"Maybe this was a mistake, maybe I should have kept my mouth close but you look so beautiful right now and I'm just so tired of being-"
You've kissed him.
Your lips are soft and warm and so, so small against his. There's a hand on his thigh, pressing down in a way that makes him acutely aware of every single nerve in his body. He panics and scrambles back, his eyes wide.
"I..I" he stutters, unable to talk as he finally looks up at you.
You're smiling, your face flushed. "Sorry, you weren't letting me talk."
"You kissed me?" he asks, his voice coming out too high.
"I did... I... was I not supposed to?" when your smile falls, Donnie feels his stomach plummeting.
'No! No! It's not that!" he's quick to say, fixing the tilt of his glasses. "I didn't expect it. I was so sure that-"
"I like you, I've always liked you. Why do you think I spend so much time around you?"
"I just assumed-"
Its funny, how now you're the one not letting him talk. But perhaps its for the best.
"Donatello, I've been in love with you since day one."
Its like his world is crashing down around him at the same time its somehow coming into focus.
"I really, really want to kiss you again." you whisper, inching closer to him.
He swallows, and there's a tightening in his shell that heightens his senses. "I..." you're so close, and your hand comes to rest on his shoulder.
"Can I?" you ask, your breath against his face.
He nods, because it seems like it's all he's able to do and lets you break the space between them.
The kiss feels like a bolt of lightning shooting through him. He's aware of the differences between his body and yours. His scales against your skin, your nose brushing the flat curve of his face.
But in that moment, none of that matters. Where he thought your differences would create a barrier between you, they seem to have melted away. His arms wrap around you, pulling you closer, and he feels a jolt of pleasure at the way your body molds perfectly against his.
The kiss is slow, sweet, and even though he needs to breathe he lets you be the first one to pull away.
You're panting as you sit back on your legs, looking up at him with a smile.
Donatello's heart is pounding in his chest as he looks down at you, feeling a mix of disbelief and euphoria. He can't believe that he just kissed you, and that it felt so right. He reaches out to brush a stray strand of hair from your face, his hand lingering on your cheek.
"That was... amazing," he murmurs, his voice husky with emotion. "I never thought... I never thought it could feel like that."
You smile up at him, your eyes shining. "Me neither," you admit, reaching up to take his hand in yours. "But I'm so glad it did."
Donatello leans in to kiss you again, this time with a bit more confidence. He's still a little bit unsure of himself, but he knows that he wants to explore this new territory with you.
Somehow, he ends up on top of you, his hand cradling the back of your head, his mouth on your neck.
When he takes you home, he tries his best to stop staring at the purple bruise blooming on the apex of your neck. He never meant to give you a hickey, to mark you. But he finds that he really likes the way it looks on you, like you're his.
Donnie knows that it's not appropriate, that there will be questions and awkward conversations, but he can't help the sense of pride that fills him when he sees it.
The kiss goodbye is shorter, and he waits until you reach your room and wave at him from your window to head back to the lair.
As he makes his way back, his mind is racing with thoughts and emotions. He's scared, but excited. Happy, but also uncertain about what the future holds. He knows that being with a human is uncharted territory for him and he wonders if it's possible to make it work.
When he reaches the lair, he's greeted by Leo who sits at the Dojo, cleaning his weapons.
"Sit." he says, in that big brother voice of his that he pulls out when he's about to say something very important.
Donnie takes a seat in front of him, crossing his legs.
"So," Leo starts, setting his knives down. "Wanna tell me why you look like you're on cloud nine?"
Donnie feels his face flush, but he knows he can't hide anything from Leo.
"I kissed her," he admits, a small smile spreading across his face.
Leo's eyes widen in surprise. "And?"
"And she kissed me back," Donnie answers, still feeling the warmth of your lips on his.
Leo grins. "Well, it's about time!"
Donnie feels a weight lift from his shoulders as he tells his brother everything.
[Anyways, my first ever tmnt fanfiction, super proud of myself]
