Part 7
- he was fixing the leg on one of the chair in the commons when a kid jumped on him
- he coughed and sat up in alarm
- he almost hit the chair ngl
-Â âDADDY!! Hi! Youâll never guess what happened today! A kid got her quirk in class and then she lost control and then it hit me! Wait why are you so tiny and small? Did you shrink or something? And why are you so soft?â she poked his cheek a couple times
- he just blinked at her
- she looked about 7?
- he couldnât help but notice she was a literal carbon copy of him
- well her hair was long and sort of like yours but it was green
- and her eye shape looked like yours
- he blushed a bit at catching himself comparing her to you
-Â âum hello? Whats your name?â he asked her as he shifted a bit to look at her better
-Â âd-daddy you donât know my- my name??â she was about to cry
- he panicked
- his arms were flying around everywhere
-Â âNO NO I- I know your name!â he lied trying to save her from crying
- she smiled and hopped off him
- honestly he was lucky she had a back pack on her with her name on it or else he never would have figured it out
- he got a bag of fruit snacks out of the pantry and handed it to her
-Â âso Sakura where does your mom work?â he asked her as she ate
- maybe he could drop her off there
-Â âcome on daddy you know this, she works with you at the deku-(your hero name) agencyâ she said calmly
- dekus face went red again
- that was his hero name
- and your
- and agency
- he stuttered out words that didnât make a lot of sense
- the little girl turned to him and grabbed both his hands
- she placed them on her cheeks and squirshed her face in between them
- he gave her a puzzled look
-Â âwell this is what mommy does when you started freaking out, I thought it would work,â she smiled up to him
- he had tears in his eyes on hearing that
- okÂ
- so he had his kid from probably the future sitting next to him at the table
- now what
- well the universe had an answer for that
- and the answer was your ass chasing one Denki Kaminari at high speed through the front door
-Â âDENKI KAMINARI, YOU IDIOT IM GOING TO PUNCH YOU SO HARD YOULL BE STUCK IN THE CEILING FOR A WEEK!â you yelled
- the blonde squeaked before bolting to Midoriya
-Â âMIDORIYA! You have to help me!â he begged, not seeing the small girl next to him
-Â âw-what did you do?â he hadnt seen you this mad since Bakugou had blown up your homework on accident
-Â âI- I might have failed at hitting Kirishima and shocked Y/n with a lot of volts,â it all came out in a rush
- your growled at him and he ran up the stairs before anything else could happen
- you were about to follow before you fully took in your surroundings
- Midoriya was here
- there is a small child next to him
- they just saw you basically growled
- shit
-Â âumm- heyy~â you smiled a bit and flattened your hair down to look a bit nicer
-Â âhi y/ââ
-Â âMAMA!! GUESS WHAT HAPPENED TODAY!â
- Sakura bounded up to you
- you reflexively dropped and she jumped to hug you
- you blinked at the floor before looking to Midoriya
-Â âIzuku whats happening?â you mouthed to him
- he opened his mouth to respond but nothing came out
- he could just stare as your attention got drawn back in my the girl at she adamantly told you her earlier story
- the similarities between him and Sakura were obvious but when she stood next to you it was obvious you two were related some how
- everything subtle about her was you
- honestly he caught on quickly and there was a serge of pride
- all he was thinking was that you both did a good job
- he smiled at you bothÂ
- his heart swelled at you being so motherly
- he gulped though when you gave him a knowing glance
- you were smart
- you had eyes
- so you joined their little snack break, turning to the boy after showing the girl where the waters were
-Â âIm taking this as a signâ
-Â âa- a sign for wh- what?â
-Â âa sign I should ask you out nowâ
- he stuttered out a yes for almost five minutes
- Sakura had come back in the middle of it and hopped in his lap
- that didnt help
- she ended up going back about an hour later
- almost gave Izuku a heart attack
- so you were the one that this one starts with
- you were coming out of the shower when you found a boy looking to be 15 sitting on your bed
- you verbally yelled
- you were lucky you changed in the bathroom
-Â âGET OUT WHAT THE FUCK!â you had your math book in your hand and above your head in seconds
-Â âWAIT DONT SWING HOLD ON MOM!â he yelled and hopped up before thinking
-Â âWHO ARE YOU CALLING MOM?!â
-Â âPUT THE BOOK DOWN IM SORRY!â he panicked
- you looked at him for a second before slowly putting your âweapon downâ
-Â âwho are youâ
-Â âwell um I donât think youâll believe me but uhh iâm your son,â he sat down on your bed again
- you gave him a look
- he sighed
-Â âwell I- ok well ya see Chiyo- oh crap I mean my sister- just got her quirk and itâs weird time travel or warps or something like that and I was watching her and Aron- my brother- while you and dad were out on a date and she lost control or something and now Iâm here and I donât know,â he sighed, putting his head in his hands
- you stared at him
- he did look like youÂ
- like a lot like you
- the only thing that wasnât you was the small features that made him more defined
-Â âare the other two here to?â you asked sitting down in your desk chair
- âI- I think so? I donât know where though and I knew this was your old room so I thought Iâd ask you if youâd seen them,â he sighed again âugh Iâm sorry momâ
- you were starting to grasp everything now
- âits alright you didnât do anything,â you smiled when he looked up at you. âwell lets go find the other two⌠umâ
-Â âkoshiâ
-Â âkoshiâ you repeated
- you were both walking around the campus looking for the other two
- he told you different things that wouldnât ruin the future
- he said Chiyo was the youngest, almost 6
- Aron was 10
-Â you had to stop him a lot from saying to much
- you both had found your way to a training area when all might caught both of your attentions
-Â âY/N!â the retired hero yelled over to you
- he had a small girl hold his hands that also looked suspiciously like you
- well minus the eyes they were a bright purple and the violet streak that ran through her hair
-Â âall might?â Koshi sounded amazing at the sight of him
- you laughed a bit
- Chiyo let go of his hand and sprinted to you
-Â â MAMA I WAS SO SCARED! But the mr all might helped me! Oh oh and Koshi! Yay!â he patter her head when you picked her up
- he was still overly amazed by all might
- like midoriya level interested
- all might came to talk to you both
- you dont blame himÂ
- you bumped koshis arm to get him to ask for an auto graph before walking a little away to give them some space
- then Shinsou and Aizawa came around the corner
- you didnt see at first, to preoccupied with the girl in your arms that acted way to much like you to be healthy
- but shinsou sure as heck noticed you
- he had had a ten year old run straight in the middle of a training session a half an hour ago and almost kicked him in the gut
- and when the basically mini shinsou started going on a rant about now knowing where the heck Chiyo and Koshi were he was left completely confused
- Aizawa was the one who ended up getting the kid to calm down and tell them his name and enough info to find whoever he was talking about
-Â âalright hold on who did you say your parents were?â aizawa asked while pinching the bridge of his nose
-Â âHitoshi and Y/n Shinsou,â
- shinosu spat the water out he was drinking
- aizawa eyes widened
- the kid was clearly to old for that to be right now
- then he told them how he got there and they all went to go find you
- when they found you with a little girl and a boy talking to all might they knew who the kids were right away
-Â âOh Shinsou Hey!!â you adjust the girl and waved to him
- he gave you a small wave and came up to you with Aron on his heels
- âmom! thank goodnessâ the ten year old came up and hugged you âwoah is that all might?!â you laughed and nodded before he went and joined his brother
-Â âso um.. Y/n I have something to tell you,â shinsou rubbed the back of his neck when you smiled at him
- he opened his mouth to talk when Chiyo cut him off
-Â âwhos y/n?â she looked between you two.Â
-Â âwell that would be me,â you smiled at her and poked her sides
- she laughed a bit âno, daddy always calls you âloveâ or âkittyâ, thats your name mamaâ she giggled
- shinsou audibly gulped
- you smiled and raised your eyebrows at shinsou
-Â âyou figured it out didnt youâ
- you laughed
- âoh what? The fact that our entire family is here?âÂ
- shinsou sighed and nodded
- the boys came running back over to you two, both with papers in hand and incredibly big smiles while all might went over to aizawa to ask what the heck was happening
-Â âoh dad! Hi! you were a lot smaller when you were my age,â Koshi snorted at that last part while Aron started showing of his autograph to you
-Â âhey im not that small ya bratâ
-Â âlot smaller than you are when weâre around,â Koshi shot back
- definitely has shinsous attitude
-Â âhey mommy, why IS daddy so tiny?â the girl in your arms asked
- you and the boys both busted out laughing at that one
- shinsou took the girls from your arms and started poking her sides quickly as she laughed
-Â âwhy you littleâ he said as she laughed
- you all ended up having a family day
- they ended up running into midoriya and all of them rushed him yelling about Uncle deku
- oh so i get stuffed on being small but not himâ shinisou muttered next to you
- you snorted at that one
- they ended up all disappearing and going back around 9 that night
- and Shinsou finally had a good opening to ask you out
- we all know that there is nothing in this boys room except his desk and bed right
- so when he was chilling on the balcony and heard a soft thud he knew nothing had fallen and was like
- huh now?
- so he turn around
- and finds a little girl?
- she looks like 5? maybe?
- shes looking around her from her spor on the floor
- she looks super calm too like
- whats going on
- Shoji just walks into his room slowly so he doesnât scar her
- he pulled up his mask before heading in and kneeling down
-Â âhello?â he just sits in front of her a little distance away
- he really doesnât want to freak her out
- she whips around to him and her smile is so freaking big
- she jumps on him
-Â âPAPA!!â shes so happy right now
- he doesnât know what to do
- papa?? hes not a dad? maybe he looks like her dad, ya thats it
-Â âI- um how did you get in here?â he asked as he put a hand on his back
- she let go of his neck and and plops herself down in his lap and starts ranting about this annoying kid in her class
- his name is Kano and he always over does his actions
- shojis impressed with how she talks ngl
- kinda sounds like him as a kid
- she gets to the part on when he pointed his hand at her and some light happened and she ended up here
-Â âanyways papa wheres mommy?â she stands u on his knee and smiled at him
-Â âuhhh,â he doesnât exactly know what to do for a second
- then she started talking again
- she seemed to talk a lot
- it kind of reminded him of how you for into your rantsÂ
-Â âwait why are you wearing your mask?â
- he froze
- what? does she wan him to take it off? why?Â
-Â âyou donât normally wear your mask with me? are you uncomfortable with me now?â
- once again he was impressed by how she talked for a five year old
- he couldnât really dwell on it to long cause she was getting teary eyed and her lip in wobbling
- he panics a bit
- he doesnât have to much experience with kids or how to stop crying
- then the light of his life and savior came through the door
- now you two had already been dating
- so you just coming into his dorm was completely normal
- âHey babe! I brought some snacks and my dvd playâ oh are youâŚ. busy?â you entered and looked up
- you blinked at the girl that was almost crying in his lap
- at least until she physically brightening
- she kicked of of the large boy and ran into you
-Â âMOMMY!!â she basically screamed before latching onto your leg
- you were very confused honestly
- mommy who now?
- shoji was suspiciously red in the corner
- he had noticed how she had looked like you
- minus the hair color and eyes
- you bent down a bit and picked her up on reflex
-Â âuh shoji? whats happening?â
-Â âI dont knowâ
- both of you agreed that you need to go tell mr aizawa
- so you walked there, the little girl messing with your hair
-Â âby the way, what your name tiny?â you asked, bumping you hip to readjust her a bit
-Â âmama you know my name,â she giggledÂ
- you thought for a second
-Â âbut do you?â
-Â âof course I do mommy!! Itâs Aniko!!â she huffed and crossed her arms
- shoji watched you both from his spot next to him
- he never would have come up with something that fast to figure out her name
- when aizawa saw the kid in your arms he looked between you two before sighing
- after shoki said what happened he said that they would figure it out in the morning and just have her stay with one of you tonight
- she was already falling asleep on your shoulder anyways
- so you both just walked back to your dorm setting her in your bed before shoji and you stepped out for a minute
-Â âI am so sorry about this,â he sighed
- yo just laughed
-Â âoh dont worry hun. Shes funny. Not to mention Im pretty perfect if I do say myself,â you smiled up to your boyfriend
- he smiled at your little display of pride
- so you both went in the room, he kissed your daughters forehead, then kissed you and left for his room
- you noticed the girl slightly fading as you tucked her in and had a feeling she would be gone by morning
- shoji freaking a bit when he opened your door and found no child but caught on fairly fast lol
Hello! I just discovered your page and I love it! đ˘
Could you write something about the guys finding out that s/o (reader, the girl they have a secret crush on) has a pet little turtle in their house?
Perhaps they had to go to the girl's house and since she lives alone there is no problem, but curiosity led them to discover a rather large and beautiful fish tank with a little turtle living there surrounded by many beautiful things and decorations, and she explains that It's a pet that was given to him a couple of years ago before he met them, so it's just a coincidence.
I find the situation very funny and adorable, imagining them, being huge, and seeing a tiny so turtle living its life peacefully in a large fish tank.
I die of loveooooooor :D â¨â¤ď¸đ§Ąđđ
A/n: hello! Thanks for requesting and sorry it took so long to get done, but I hope you like it!
Raphael
Big red was stunned
I mean he was at your house for the first time
He didn't expect to see such an elaborate tank setup and when he got closer and saw the small turtle
He couldn't help but laugh a little and turn to you
"is this a joke?"
Your gonna have to explain your not fucking with him and that you had your turtle long before you met him
Once you do he'll instantly deflate and just be okay with it
He'll laugh to himself "looks like you got a thing for turtles. Don't you think?"
He'll turtle sit for you if need be, but it's a little weird for him
He'll just treat him like a new friend
He's honestly weird about it at first but the small turtle grows on him
Leonardo
The moment he's in your room and sees this turtle... he's gonna do exactly what's in the pictured gif above đ
Just gonna look at the turtle then straight at you.
He'll let you explain and then just stare at the turtle
"...you like me more..right?"
Your gonna have to reassure him that yes you prefer his company over your pet's
He'll be so passive aggressive with your turtle and you'll catch him helping care for him
But you'll like see him feed your pet all while mumbling
"look at your stupid cute face..you should know if I wasn't feeding you you would be starving to death."
He probably ends up loving your turtle more than you in the end though he'll never say so
Donatello
Jealous
He was j e a l o u s
He wasn't to surprised you had a pet turtle but he was very jealous
So reassure him that he's your favorite turtle
He has to hear it
Once he does he'll be totally fine with it and probably would even help you care for your pet.
"the ph balance of the water is off..I'll fix it."
Consistently making sure your turtle is healthy and happy.. because he wants you to smile and maybe because a small
a very, very small part of him actually cares for your pet
Though he wasn't gonna tell you that but he didn't need to
You could see it
Michelangelo
He gets excited when he first sees the small turtle but then gets fake mad
He wants you to tell him he's still your favorite turtle
To console him..maybe even give him a hug
And once you do any of those things immediately he's back to being excited
He'll ask so many questions about your pet..as if your pet could answer the questions
"do you think (t/n) likes me?"
At a certain point it'll be like the turtle isn't even yours.
It's Mikey's turtle now.
It may come as no surprise
But I am down nasty for the Donut Man
I saw this gifset on my dash and I just
yes.
Prompt: Katakuri comes back from a mission to learn you're pregnant despite never wanting to be a father.

Katakuri X Fem Reader
Katakuri had been sent on a mission to retrieve something, leaving you alone, having you stand in as the Minister of Flour while he was away. Everything was going well; you had done this plenty of times in the past. But some of the workers had noticed you not eating as much, youâd wave them off without a concern. The concern really came when a cake was being made and just the smell of it made you want to vomit.
        You couldnât hide it from anyone, you were in the middle of a meeting about the upcoming tea party and what pastries would be served. Everyone forced you to see a doctor, no one wanting to deal with the wrath of your husband if he got back to find you sick.
        And thatâs how you ended up in the ward, a doctor running tests and looking you over. Much to your dismay numerous curious eyes also making sure you wouldnât leave this forced appointment. âAnd when was the last time you were sexually active?â The question threw you off guard, nearly spitting out the tea that you had been allowed to drink.
Youâre face burning red as you whip your head around to look at those who had forced you here. None of them dared to make eye-contact with you, some whistling while looking off in a random direction. They tried to protest when you kicked them out, but you refused to discuss such things in front of so many people. Once the door was finally closed the doctor, who was not too amused asked the question again. âItâs been a little a while, 7 or 8 weeks I think,â Thinking back to the last intimate night you had with Katakuri, heâd been so busy lately that itâd had been longer than normal.
The doctor wrote some notes down and continued with other questions before doing some blood tests. You sat back, expecting this to be a simple flu. That would give you a headache, youâd be forced to bedrest as to not spread it and not slow down progress. The doctor padded his way back into the room, flipping through the papers reading the results of everything he had tested for. âWell, it seems as though youâre pregnant.â
        You took the rest of the day off to think about things. Katakuri had adamantly told you he didnât want children. He didnât want to pass down his genes in fear of what could happen, you understood his concerns and agreed to not try. And while you were sexually active, contraceptions were used at every avenue, Birth Control, Condoms, Spermicide, even a Plan B if there was a thought of something going wrong.
        Katakuri would be getting back from his mission in a couple days, so itâs best to just wait until then. Canât be announcing things like this. As much as youâd prefer to sweep this under the rug, Big Mom was someone who didnât partake in abortions, wanting a large family and everything, itâd be counter-productive in her mind. So as much as you wanted too, youâd have to go to a different island, and that included having Katakuri with you to avoid Big Momâs gaze.
        But your plans changed quickly, despite clearly telling the Doctor to keep the news secret, the next day you arrived to the office with banners and some tastefully small cakes. Cards going around with small gifts as though it was common place to celebrate so early on. You tried to get them to calm down, but everyone was overjoyed that their leader finally had an heir on the way.
~~~
        Katakuri stared off into the distance, leaning against the wall as the ship got closer to their homeland. It had been a pointless mission, delivering a letter to a foreign country, demanding there be talks of a marriage. He hated being away from Komugi island for too long, from his normal job as the Minister of Flour. There heâd at least be able to relax a little bit more than normal, and when he was with you, he could let his guard down completely. Trusting you to cover for him or tell him if someone was coming. Being on a ship where he refused to lay down in fear of prying eyes had taken a toll on him, no matter how short the trip was.
        As the ship docked some of his administrators found him, happy as ever with large smiles. He wasnât listening too much to their words of congratulations, assuming it was just words on finishing the mission, he just wanted to make it home so he could finally sleep on his back.
        As he was bidding farewell to those around him, one of them said something rather confusing, âAh, tell Y/N that the mid-wife will be around to talk to her next week. I forgot to let her know earlier.â A mid-wife? For his Wife? Katakuri swallowed the lump in his throat, reasoning that it had to have been due to some unforeseen baby boom in the town.
        But as he passed through the halls of his home, he noticed servants scurrying about more than normal. All with excited faces, some with parcels in their hands. It wasnât until he got to your room pushing the door open to see you sitting at your tea table, a hand rubbing your forehead, âIf itâs another gift then send it back. How many times do I need to tell you all to keep this quiet.â Your tired voice brushing past him while you waved your hand, not even looking in the direction of the door.
        You heard the door close and let out a heavy sigh, looking to the already inconvenient pile of baby toys, clothes, and furniture that people of the island had pushed onto you. Nobody in this god forsaken town could keep quiet, which would make things so much harder, if Big Mom got word of this, you were more than certain you wouldnât be able to pass off a random miscarriage without her knowing the truth.
        âWhat is all this?â You jumped a bit, hearing your husbands voice. You never even got word of his arrival to the island, much less that he had already come home.
        âWe need to talk.â You voice was serious as you looked over at him, he was staring down at you unmoving. âWhy not sit down?â He stayed still, crossing his arms for an explanation and you sighed again, this wasnât normal for him, but you were already too tired to deal with it.
        Your sigh caused Katakuri to take another step further, âI get that you must be doing some fundraiser or gala. But you shouldnât have these donations in here.â You spit out your drink, looking up at youâre normally smart husband.
        âExcuse me?â The silence as he stares at you hit you hard, âYou think Iâm doing a fundraiser? And you think all these stupid things are donations? Is that really what you think?!â Your annoyance peeking through clearly. First the news got, then the storm of gifts, and now even your husband seems to be getting on your nerves. âKatakuri Iâm pregnant.â You shake your head, stating it out right was best in these types of situations, âSo, might I suggest you sit down so we can talk abou-â
        âYour idea of a joke is awful Y/N,â He walks over to the neat stacks of gifts, all of which you were sending back when you got the chance, âI mean really? You think staging some baby items is enough to convince me? This prank is in bad taste.â His regal voice showed no sign of joking and it made you more frustrated than you already were.
        âThis isnât a joke,â You were getting another headache but the subtle glare he shot you made it clear he wasnât going to listen, âYou know what? You just got home, why donât you rest? Iâll send these gifts back in the meantime.â
~~~
        The next day Katakuri came to his office looking a little more refreshed and prepared for the day. He sits down in the confines of the space and starts looking through the reports, âIt seems you fell a little behind while I was away. Why?â His smooth tone showing you he was ignoring everything you said the day prior.
        You had expected something like this to happen so you put the paper with the test result in front of him. âYouâre lovely administers made me go to the doctors after some sickness.â His eyes scanned the paper, reading every detail until you could tell he landed on the prognosis. âIâm about 2 months along.â
        Katakuri sucks in his breath, you can tell by the twist of his eyebrow that this isnât going to be fun, deciding to sit on the couch while you wait for his response.
Honestly, you barely had time to process this all yourself, being pushed and pulled everywhere by workers. The only time you had time to think for yourself was late at night when people thought youâd be sleeping. The first night you had spent just staring into the darkness that was the room trying to figure out the situation. Truly, you could relate to what Katakuri was probably going through.
        You two never planned on being parents. You vehemently discussed avoiding parenthood the natural way, maybe adopting if youâre mother-in-law became pushy. The thing you wanted most right now was a glass of whiskey, but for clear reasons you couldnât get one. Your body felt so tense since finding out, your muscles aching from the lack of relaxing.
You were hoping that your husband would be the one to make sense of it for you, but seeing how heâs reacted so far, he was in the same boat as you. It stung, your heart dropping slightly as you put on this front of neutrality. But it was the best you could do, if you didnât maintain this semblance of control over yourself, you felt like youâd break down.
Finally, your husband spoke, although his words didnât make you feel any better. If anything, it caused you to go further into the downward spiral that was your mind, âWell then whose is it?â His voice was dipped in venom but maintained a single tone, âIf you wanted a kid so bad, we could have adopted.â
You bit your tongue, staring at the floor in front of you. He waited a couple second for a response but you couldnât bring any words to come out before he continued, âYou didnât have to go behind my back like this.â His even tone made every muscle in your body tense more than they already were.
A knock at the door caught both of your attentions, yet your body was still tightly wound as you got up, opening the door to let whoever it was in. Someone with a bunch of papers and a wide smile looked back at you and you ushered them in while brushing your way out of the suffocating room.
Offering small smiles to those you passed as you hurried away from the situation. It was only after you had gotten to a small reading room and locked the door behind you that you slid down onto the floor. Your room was too far away and this was unused enough that no one would come looking here. A hand pressed against your stomach while the other tangled itself in your hair, gripping tightly to feel anything other than the heavy emotions that have flowed through you for days now.
You havenât let anyone know of your own feelings on this matter, other than wanting to keep it on the down low, everyone assuming it was so you could Katakuri yourself, and yet somehow that one single voiced wish hadnât come true. The entire island singing praise and you were the center of their attention.
You began panting, your throat swelling up making it hard to grasp at air, feeling your body start to shake. Even Katakuri wasnât willing to listen. This has to be a lot for him, but I thought he loved me. Your body curling in on itself, the hand in your hair running down to grip at the back of your neck while your nails dug into your stomach. He even suggested I had cheated on him, found another man. The thought itself made you sick to your stomach, your heart beat drowning out any noise around you, and eyes squeezing shut as the world got darker around you. Am I just an object to everyone? You tried, and failed at opening your mouth, attempting to get any air to fill your compressed lungs. The beating of your heart the only reminder of that you were in fact alive.
~~~Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
        Katakuri was walking down the hallways. Every time he passed someone who worked with you, heâd ask the same questions. All of them similar stories that made his heart twist with worry, and yet when he went looking for you, you were nowhere to be found. It had been hours since you disappeared from his office without a second glance, the thought of how you left was now hurting him, now that heâs had time to calm down and truly think about everything.
        Since no one could find you, he was the person that people were bringing presents too, all of which he ushered to be sent wherever you had put them, some people asking if he had seen you so they could ask more questions. He hadnât even been back a full day and yet he was overwhelmed with so much. Stalking back to your bedroom, assuming that could be his one quiet place, maybe even find you again to try and have a conversation about everything.
        His heart jumped into his throat thinking about it, you had been trying to talk to him this entire time and each attempt was met with malice. You were so patient, letting him voice his hate and distrust. Watching you sit on the couch silently, neither confirming nor denying allegations said to you, though your knuckles turned white in your lap. But what else could he think? With every safeguard the two of you had put into place, how else could you had ended up with a child growing inside of you? Walking into your shared room he looked around, the pile of gifts in the corner seemingly doubled in size from previously in the day.        Â
Yet still, there wasnât a sign of you anywhere. Katakuri paced a bit, looking for any sign that you had been here after leaving him earlier. But there wasnât a single thing out of place or used compared to this morning. The realization that no one has seen you for most of the day hitting him with a cold sweat as he calls for security
Notes: A small, very light and cute one-shot in response to a post I saw a while ago. I really love Katakuri, and Iâve been wanting to write for him for a while, but I didnât have a real project involving him. So when I saw your post, @mew-ya , I decided to go for it. I found your idea adorable, and it inspired this piece. Itâs not much, but I hope youâll like it nonetheless. Iâm taking this chance to say that I really love your art, and your OC Maren is so cool! I absolutely love the duo he forms with Katakuri! đ
Youâve lost track of the days.
Since the failure of Puddingâs wedding, chaos has taken over Whole Cake Island, and rumors of the Charlotte Familyâs disgrace are spreading like wildfire across the seas of the New World.
Alliances have been shaken, mistrust is eating away at the bonds woven between the different factions, and the pressure on Big Momâs powerful family has become unbearable.
You were thrown into this turmoil immediately.
Your days blur together without pause, dictated by tense meetings, endless negotiations, and discussions where every word is carefully weighed. Even though she is not currently on the island, the Empressâs shadow looms over every exchange, and the slightest misstep could prove fatal.
But itâs not just the allies you have to deal with.
The Charlotte family members themselves have become more demanding, more impatient. They want guarantees, results, immediate solutions. You barely have time to breathe between requests.
"Prepare a detailed report on this weekâs commercial movements." "We need to review the treaty conditions, make sure the new proposals are drafted by tomorrow." "Tell the cook I want a special dessert, now." "Why hasnât this file been sent yet?" " The ministers of Totto Land are meeting in an hour, make sure everything is ready.."
Each demand piles on top of the last, forming a mountain of responsibilities that never seems to shrink.
You barely sleep, sometimes you forget to eat, but you donât have the luxury of slowing down.
As Katakuriâs spouse, you cannot afford to fail.
Fortunately, you are never truly alone. There is always someone â or rather something â there to assist you without you even needing to lift a finger.
The Homies are everywhere around you. These little sentient beings, created by Big Mom, seem to anticipate your every need.
When you sit at your desk, a chair slides under you before you even pull it out.
When you reach for a pen, one of them is already handing it to you, practically vibrating with enthusiasm at the idea of serving you.
When an endless discussion with influential members of the Charlotte family leaves your throat dry, a cup of hot tea magically appears on the table in front of you, placed on a tray by a Homie who doesnât say a word, preferring to slip away as soon as its task is complete.
If your stomach lets out a quiet growl - which you usually ignore, too focused on your work - a plate of food is suddenly placed beside you. Carefully chosen snacks, never too heavy, just enough to give you a boost of energy without forcing you to stop for too long. Youâve gotten used to eating without thinking, mechanically swallowing whatever is placed in front of you between two paragraphs, two reports, two meetings.
The Homies chatter cheerfully and frenetically around you, and you absentmindedly nod in acknowledgment, accepting what they offer without truly paying attention.
Everything is fluid, organized, almost too perfect. You never have to ask for anything. Everything you need is already there. You accept this silent help as a given, without questioning its origin, without even imagining that someone might be behind it all.
And yetâŚ
That night, you are far too absorbed in your work to wonder about this strange phenomenon.
For weeks, youâve been stringing together meetings and negotiations with relentless discipline. You barely sleep, you forget to eat, and whenever Katakuri tries to remind you to take a break, you always give him the same answer:
"Iâm fine."
No.
You are not fine.
He has been watching you for days, waiting.
Each night, you stay awake long after Katakuri returns from his own missions. Sometimes, he finds you still sitting at your desk at dawn, dark circles under your eyes, fingers tightly gripping a pen or a stack of documents.
Katakuri is not a man of many words. He prefers to observe, to understand. He knows how to spot a crack before it becomes a fracture, how to anticipate a collapse before itâs too late.
And everything about you screams collapse.
He saw it in your posture, more tense than before. In your breathing, shorter. In your hands, trembling ever so slightly, a movement so subtle that no one else would notice.
But he sees everything.
He has been watching you, silently. He knows that look, the look of someone refusing to admit they are pushing past their own limits. He has seen it too often in himself, in his brothers and sisters⌠but seeing it in you is unbearable.
That night, itâs the last straw.
He comes back late from a mission and, just as he expected, youâre still awake, hunched over a desk buried under paperwork. You donât even lift your head when he enters.
"Youâre home late," you remark absentmindedly, scribbling something on an urgent mission report.
He doesnât answer.
He has stopped in front of your desk, observing you in silence. He doesnât need words to understand.
He has watched you exhaust yourself day after day, the fatigue deepening under your eyes, the stiffness settling into your body. He has noted every little sign: the dark circles, the slight thinness of your fingers, the way your shoulders tense under stress.
You want to be perfect.
You want everything to be under control, every task carried out with impeccable precision. Because you refuse to be a burden. Because you refuse to let anyone doubt your worth.
He knows this obsession. He knows what itâs like to want to be infallible.
But he also knows what it costs.
He steps closer and gently takes hold of your wrist, stopping your frantic movements. When he lifts your chin with his other hand to lock eyes with you, his expression is filled with concern.
His skin is warm against yours.
"Youâre trembling," he states.
You pull slightly against his grip, trying to free yourself. But he doesnât let go. He doesnât squeeze too hard, doesnât try to restrain youâonly to hold you there, to make you understand that he wonât let this slide.
"Iâm fine," you breathe out.
A lie.
Again.
And heâs had enough of hearing them.
"Did you take the time to eat properly today?" he asks.
Your gaze wavers.
"How much sleep have you gotten this week?"
You finally pull away, barely concealing your frustration.
"Kata, I donât have time to rest. I have to make sure everything runs smoothly. The family has already suffered enough losses, I canâtâŚ"
"You canât what?"
He interrupts you, his voice slightly sharper. He doesnât need to raise his tone.
"You canât show the slightest weakness? Do you think thatâs what will prove you deserve your place here?"
You clench your teeth.
"I have to be up to the task. After the disaster of Puddingâs wedding, we have to prove that we are still reliable. You donât understandâŚ"
"Donât talk to me as if I donât know what it means to carry a burden."
Silence falls. He still doesnât break eye contact.
Then, without warning, he moves around the desk and lifts you effortlessly, his movements fluid and controlled. A small gasp of surprise escapes you, but he doesnât give you the chance to protest further.
"Kata! Put me down right now, I have work to do!"
"No. Not tonight!"
His tone is firm.
He doesnât slow down as he carries you away from your desk.
With slow but determined steps, he crosses the room. Every muscle in his body seems tense, not with anger, but with unwavering resolve and he gently sets you down on the couch before disappearing into the adjacent room.
You hear faint sounds: the opening of a cupboard, the soft clinking of porcelain.
A few moments later, he returns. In one hand, a thick, warm blanket. In the other, a steaming cup of tea.
Without a word, he drapes the blanket over you. Then, he places the cup in your hands. The contact of the warm ceramic against your fingers sends a slight shiver through you. You want to protest, to argue that you donât need this, that you have to get back to work. But the moment the warmth of the cup seeps into your hands, something inside you cracks.
An invisible tension you werenât even aware of carrying begins to fade, little by little. Your back, usually rigid and straight, sinks slightly against the couch. You slowly lower your gaze to the cup.
And suddenly, everything clicks into place.
The Homies who always seem to know exactly what you need. The snacks that appear without you asking. The supplies, the reports, the documents that always seem to be within reach.
It wasnât coincidence.
It wasnât just the Homies diligently doing their jobs.
It was him.
Katakuri.
Since the very beginning, he had made sure you ate, even when you were too absorbed in your work to think about it. He had ensured you stayed hydrated, that your belongings remained in order, that nothing was missing.
He had anticipated your every need, orchestrating everything in the shadows, without ever expecting anything in return. Without even telling you.
You slowly lift your eyes to him.
He says nothing.
He stands there, tall and imposing, arms crossed, watching you with that unwavering, piercing gaze. But there is no reproach, no irritation in his expression.
Only patience. And determination.
"You lecture me when I skip a meal, when I donât get enough sleep⌠But what about you? Who takes care of you?"
You lower your eyes, unable to respond.
Because heâs right.
He sighs again and settles next to you. Then, to your great surprise, he loosens the scarf covering his face and lets it fall onto his lap.
This simple gesture is a silent declaration of trust, a way to show you that you are important enough for him to lower this barrier. One that he never lets down in front of anyone.
Katakuri never shows his face.
Even in your presence, he always ensures he stays in the shadows. He doesnât want you to see him too clearly. He doesnât want to witness that flicker of fear or disgust he has seen far too many times in othersâ eyes. Even though you have told him, again and again, that his face neither frightens nor repulses you.
But thatâs not the kind of thing one believes easily after a lifetime of rejection.
So, he never responded.
He never told you that he believes you, that he accepts your words.
But to you, it isnât necessary. He doesnât need to say it. You have understood for a long time that his scarf is not just an accessory.
It is his wall.
His shield.
And yet, tonight, he lets it fall.
Not for just anyone.
For you.
Right now, in this moment, there are no negotiations, no reports to write, no alliances to manage. There is only him, you, and this bubble of quiet he is trying to offer you.
He gently removes the cup from your hands and sets it on the table beside you.
Then, without a word, he reaches for the blanket he gave you earlier and wraps it around both of you, pulling you close to ensure the warmth envelops you both.
You take a deep breath, and the familiar scent of Katakuri soothes you more than youâd like to admit.
Little by little, your resistance fades. Your body gives in to exhaustion, and you let yourself lean into him.
You fought sleep for a moment, your mind still reluctant to completely surrender, but one last glance at him was enough to make you understand.
You can finally let go in complete safety.
Katakuri will not leave.
He will watch over you.
As he always has, in silence, in the shadows, without ever asking for recognition.
