We live in a multi-Max AEW universe and they all seem to want to drive Hangman Adam Page up a wall.

The amount of GODDAMN SUFFERING Max has gone through is insane.

Bitch (affectionate) has trust issues for YEARS, betrays multiple mentors and friends, and all together acts like a shitty person.

Then he finally reaches the top, finally gets the championship he always wanted.

Then he relaxes a bit. HE MAKES A FRIEND. He values that friendship over his title, the thing he’s been working for since the beginning. He would rather people hit him than hit his friend.

Then that friend betrays him. That friend had been plotting against him for a large part of their “friendship”. He destroys Max in a way he’s never felt before.

Then the script gets flipped, and suddenly MAX IS THE BAD GUY AGAIN. Suddenly the man who betrayed him and broke his trust is the hero, and he’s the villain once again.

So he falls back into his villain role, and people hate him once again. Then he sees Hangman, a man in a similar role to him. Taking things too far, making things too violent and personal.

And the crowd LOVES HIM. The crowd can’t get enough of Hangman Adam Page. He is so similar to Max, and yet he gets all the love Max desperately wants.

Yeah, I think I would cry too.
