contrary to popular belief not everyone has an innate sense of internal gender or care to have one or seek a name for it, some people go their whole lives without questioning their occupation in one of two gender roles, but for some people, if pressed, they don't feel that internal sense of 'i am a woman' or 'i am a man', and in that case i feel the switch over to transgender vs cisgender relies on active identification of a gender other than the one they were assigned. if someone's like 'idk dude I just work here' then that's valid

So I’m rewatching Codename Kids Next Door and I’m really getting into it because they’re are so many adult jokes and references I didn’t really understand as a kid. 

But what is really getting me is when I’m rewatching the Mission: Z.E.R.O and Grandfather is facing off  Monty and Father(Benedict) when Grandfather mentions that he rather wish that Monty was evil and that he was only thinking of their heritage. This literally means that Numbuh 1 comes from a long family line of villains that was just recently broken by his father. This means that Numbuh 1 one has the ability to take on a black silhouette form and shoot fire like father if he decides to become evil. 

Imagine one day Numbuh 1 gets really mad and suddenly bursts into flames or shoots fire out of his hands. Or just a little thing like burning the ground when he walks. So many ideas so little time.

Or imagine if both Monty and Ben were evil what would that look like or they switched situations.

 This something that’s been on my mind for a while but I just got around to piecing it together. It came to me after re-watching Mystic Library and Operation Normal.  Either their magical abilities either came from something in Drazum’s ooze or from Master Splinter’s DNA. Because I’m calling it now that the sword Lou Jitsu’s ancestor used was magical, with the purpose of destroying the dark armor but that’s beside the point. 

I mean it’s one thing to possess mystical weapons that were probably already enchanted but it’s another to draw a rune, push your magical energy into it to activate said rune and it successfully work on the first try. Raph does all this when releasing Mayhem from the mirror. 

And if the boys can do that, they can definitely pull off the human ”cloak” Sunita, Big mama and even the old lady they followed to Senor Queso’s Pizzeria did. looking back even Draxum’s goons from the first episode could do it too. This means the boys won’t have to face the choice of making the selves human with reverse mutagen/ooze or deciding to stay mutants because they can literally just be both, but I’ll speak on that later. 

Two of Disney television animation biggest creators at the moment reveal how to best support our favourite cartoons and tell the networks we want more of them.

The big executives are looking at fandom culture now more than they ever have and while a show cant survive on that alone, with networks refusing to spend money advertising their shows, the best way we can help support our favourite shows is word of mouth. Make fan art, memes, cosplay, reviews, analysis. If someone who hasn't seen/heard of that show comes across your work and goes away wanting to check it out, you've instantly helped that show become more noticed.

Something that has become almost a relic of the times now that I wished would be brought back is sending fan mail. Despite online presence being huge now it is something that is still easy for networks to ignore. Physical mail on the other hand is a different story (I mean that's how Kim Possible fans got a 4th season after it's initial cancellation).

So get out there and start creating. Make the amount of fandom content too big for even the highest of higher ups to ignore. Tweet at them and let them know this is your new favourite show and you want a lot more of it.

I LOVE your ROTTMNT High School AU! I especially love how you write the boys as black AND Asian. Raph’s Japanese middle name makes so much sense for Splinter’s son. Thanks for sharing your ideas!
