Damn. Rewatched the Ninjago Movie and Jay is a lot snarkier than I remember. He's the main guy getting mad at Lloyd when they all almost die, he's talking a lot more than I expected him to, he's even a bit more confident than I gave him credit for. He's a lot more like Show!Jay than I thought.

The 4 stages of "what the fuck has Jay been doing since The merge?"

Jay could have been doing these things for the 5 years since the merge and I find it beautiful.

Especially because in one way or another they all include angst.

The funny part is that I remember from the beginning of DR that people theorized that Cole would adopt some children after the merge and that ended up being true.

Is it just me or is it very funny that Cole is overall a disproportionate amount more times sleeveless than the rest of the ninja

Like it has happened at least 2 time that all the other ninja have their Gi designs for their season and Cole and only Cole will just be sleeveless

Now the fun part is asking why?

Like does whoever make their outfits (in universe) just really like Cole’s arms? Like he just doesn’t ask why he is the only part with no arm protection or anything.

Does Cole ask specifically for no sleeves??

Maybe so he can show off his like Earth punch lava arms thing

I’d think it could be Kai cause he would have a high body temperature so would get too hot with sleeves???? But no??

I genuinely think it’s something to do with him being the strong one so like fits some sort of archetype of a strong guy without sleeves
