bruh my stupid brain literally thought that elemental masters gradually got their power over time.

like when they were a baby, they couldnt do anything. When they were a toddler, they could do some stuff. When they were a kid, they could start to be able to control it kinda. And teenagers could fully control their powers but would get tired after using it. Adults could use their powers without any problems.

yeah well i saw a post where it was like "oh i hc that ems gradually get their power over time" and i was like "t-thats not a hc... thats canon" but then i rewatched season 1 only to realize that they had to unlock their true potential to gain their powers.

i found out the other day that gwen’s brother has an actual canon design and started freaking the fuck out because making a design for him has been in the back of my mind for over a year. his official unofficial name (just so i don’t have to keep referring to him as “gwen’s brother” over and over is Dax! (feel free to use this name for your own version of him if you’d like! i’ll be starting some tags for him)

anyway, i think cody’s social ineptness combined with the fact that he’s an only child would make for some really awkward interactions with dax. also, since dax is a bit of a rebel and goth himself, i imagine he’d probably have gotten along with duncan really well, and would be a little upset / disappointed at the change from a hardened punk to a softie nerd. eventually they’d warm up to each other and realize they have some stuff in common, i can picture the two of them bonding over video games and making music.

also, i will definitely be drawing cody with gwen’s mom at some point! i feel like’d he’d be a major suckup to her.

I’m doing a DTIYS, most of the information is in the post but i Will clearify everything down below:

Rules:

1. Try to keep the pose/outfit similar, but feel free to be creative!

- you may ofcourse change stuff around as you see fit, but try to at least some aspect of the original drawing

2. You can use any Lloyd design!

- I encourage you to use any design of Lloyd you see fit, if you want to draw mine that’s okay, and if you Want to draw another one That is Also okay! The lloyd design you draw will not impact the results of the DTIYS so don’t worry about that (although it Would be super cool to see him in as many different designs as possible)

3. No tracing!

- i feel like this one is pretty self explanitory but obviously Do not trace mine or anyone elses entry/artwork for this.

4. Post with #P3LLOYDITIYS (i dont know if all caps is neccisary i dont really get tumblr tags, uhm oops) and tag me!

5. Last day to enter is October 10th

- You may, still participate after the 10th, but only enteries submitted before the 10th have a chance to win a prize!
