hugs save the world
I'll never have the words to describe how insane it is that Yuji and Megumi just loved each other that much and it beat Sukuna's ass.
Like the emphasis on souls in Jujutsu Kaisen. The innate connection Sukuna could form by possessing someone. The philosophical debates. The ability to see a soul. To bind a soul. To hurt a soul.
And you have to imagine just how much love and desperation Yuji had to be feeling to claw his way to where Megumi was hiding and speak to him. Yuji wasn't connected in any sorcerer way to Megumi's soul. He just loved him. And Megumi had no reason to display himself as a small child to Yuji. He was so trusting of Yuji he chose to put the most vulnerable, defenseless, truest part of his soul on display.
I think the plot of JJK was Yuji and Megumi trying to figure out what it means to save someone and the conclusion was them deciding it's enough to just save each other.

Let the poor man rest.

do u ever get emotional about the fact that tchaikovsky, a gay man, wrote his Romeo and Juliet overture for his brother and his brother’s gay lover bc I sure as hell do
no no. you don't get it. the reason I injure my blorbos until they can't walk is because that's the only way they'll ever let someone else carry them. the reason I curse them to be sick and feverish is so that they'll finally open up about their emotions while delirious. the reason I force them to overexert themselves to the point of exhaustion is so that when they pass out they can finally rest.
I'm doing this for their own good.
